    Honey sesame wings
    Lana S.

This review is for Take out only! I ordered 10 pieced Korean fried chicken wings with honey sesame sauce and L.A. Kalbi rice bowl to go through their website. When I walked in around 4pm on a Sunday the place was pretty packed and you can smell all the good food! Excited to get home to eat. First off the wings were extra crispy and the honey sesame glaze was absolutely delicious. The wings were meaty and it was just so good. Sweet and savory and just perfect. The L.A. Kalbi rice bowl came with tons of marinated short ribs which was a great portion to what you pay for. The meat had a great grilled flavor and fell off the bone tender. It comes with white rice and sauteed carrots and onions. Over all the price was $40+ but it was so much food I was able to make 3 meals out of it! The best Korean food I've had in a very long time! I cant wait to try other menu items and dine in next time :)

We didn't think to make reservations but they get pretty busy on Friday nights. We put our names down and were instructed to go wait in our car, which was slightly weird, but understandable because they don't have much space. We got the vegetable dumplings, and the jjambbong. They both hit the spot, though service was a bit off. We asked for the yellow radish, which usually comes with the jjambbong. When we got it, we realized they didn't put any vinegar on it so we had to ask did that too.

Bro. Hot stone bowl + spicy chicken + secret sauce = . Also the service was fantastic. Water refills were constant. The place was also packed the whole time we were there. Call for reservations on the weekends!

Wonderful time having lunch at dolsot house! The homemade dumplings were excellent. The banchan side dishes were also very tasty. The dolsot bibimbop came out nice and hot so the rice was perfectly crispy. The service was also wonderful. I highly recommend and definitely plan to comeback!

Actually drove 1.5 hours to Dolsot House just to try it out. Didn't disappoint if you're craving Korean bbq or a dolsot. They have a bunch of different dolsot varieties on the menu, but we ended up getting tofu soups, seafood pancake and the recommended wings. The pancake sauce wasn't the sauce that I'm used to getting. This sauce has a bit of vinegar. The pancake itself was a bit mushy, couldn't been fried a little bit longer. The kalbi was missing a marinade taste, but on the bland side. The wings were good, I liked the sauce. The tofu soup I didn't try because it was for the kids, but the bulgogi was alright. The service was the main part of the 4 stars. Exceptional service goes a long way. Even though the restaurant was small, our table was always served and cleaned.

I was in the area so my son and I stopped for an early dinner on a Saturday. He loves wings so we finally decided to go. We ordered honey garlic and soy sesame and shared a scallion shrimp pancake. The pancake was huge! The wings were so good, sweet and savory and very sticky. Thank god they came with wet naps. I honestly saw so much food that came out of the kitchen that looked wonderful. I need to go back and try more items. This place was great. I loved it.

Great food with even amazing flavor. Wings were great size and amazing crunch. The service was fantastic, quick with the banchan and wings. Food took awhile but we went on a Saturday at 7:30 so that's understandable. Can't wait to come back and try more.

    Mandu (6 to an order)

Overall, Dolsot House serves solid Korean food with eager, if not rushed, service; however, on this visit the restaurant struggled with its A/C unit, eventually turning it off and opening the door where the humid summer evening was cooler than the sweatbox the restaurant had become. We were surprised to learn that banchan refills were limited to 3: we decided just to refill the pickled cucumber. While the mandu (6 to an order, evenly crispy, with great dipping sauce) and jap chae (flavorful) were terrific, the scallion and kimchi pancakes were very well done on the outside and a bit underdone in the center. The spicy fried chicken wings were delicious (more sweet than spicy). Entrees were well-received, though many wished they'd ordered cold dishes with the A/C issues.

Favorite Korean food around Cherry Hill. It's a small place, with the same few servers every time we go. The Korean sides are fantastic (please bring back the sprout dish) and the lunch boxes are an excellent value. I always get the Kalbi box and it comes with a salad, rice, and the most delicious japchae. We also tried the soy chicken wings one time and they were very tasty. The gyoza are also good.

Delicious and reasonably priced! This restaurant was full on a Saturday evening but we only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. The tables are packed it pretty tightly. The wings were very crispy. We had two flavors - honey garlic and spicy. Definitely liked the honey garlic a lot more . All the other dishes we ordered were delicious. The dumpling soup, bulgogi hot pot and Galbi. Loved the flavor on the Galbi! Bon chon side dishes were small; for a table of 4 people they should have provided a bit more.

This place has a constant churn of patrons. We came in as a party of 8 around 4:30pm hoping to avoid the rush hour crush of people. Lo and behold, place was packed at that time and stayed that way until we left. Must be a good sign! Ordered several items to try and all were good. Seafood pancake had a really nice crunch on the outside. Filling was okay. I liked that you have the option for sizes so small was perfect to share. Soy garlic korean fried chicken wasn't bad. I prefer less sauce. Had a good crunch and the size of the chicken wing was worth it. The beef bulgogi and tofu soup combination is a good bang for your buck. Its less than a normal full serving of beef and you get the tofu soup too. The soup broth was good. Giant chunks of tofu. A sprinkle of seafood. All in all, so satifsying when mixed with rice. Service was quick and attentive. The menu has a solid variety of Korean dishes to try. Glad we got a chance to stop h

Home-y korean restaurant with delicious food. The staff is friendly was very thorough with the menu. I got a spice level of 2 and that was perfect for someone who can't tolerate spicy food. I was able to walk in during lunch on a Sunday and there was plenty of seating

I was a bit disappointed at the food quality. Thinking this is an authentic Korean restaurant so the food should be pretty good, but it came out not as I expected. The galbi definitely was not the best quality. Too much tendons and fat to the point I cant even chew them. Everything else was average in my opinion. Restaurant didnt take reservations, only walk ins.

Even made my own a few times, thinking I had it all figured out. But then I walked into The Bank Bar and had my mind completely rearranged. The place itself? Perfect. It's got that old-school, no-nonsense vibe with just enough charm to let you know they actually care. You walk in, and it's like the place has been waiting for you--dark wood, a little history on the walls, and that unmistakable smell of something incredible happening in the kitchen. The kind of place where you know, deep down in your soul, that good things are about to happen. And then came the sandwich. This roast pork wasn't just good. It wasn't just great. It was the best roast pork sandwich I have ever had in my life. No exaggeration. First bite--boom--instant revelation. The pork was juicy, packed with deep, rich flavor, and shredded just right, like it had been slow-cooked by someone who truly understands patience. The roll? Oh man, that perfect balance of crusty and soft, holding everything together without stealing the show. Then you get hit with the garlicky, herb-loaded bite of the greens--sautéed just enough to still have a little bite, but soft enough to melt into everything else. And the cheese? Sharp provolone, the kind that makes your taste buds wake up and pay attention. I sat there, sandwich in hand, just nodding to myself like some kind of roast pork prophet. Every bite was a reminder that this is how it's supposed to be done. It wasn't a meal. It was a life experience. If you haven't been to The Bank Bar yet, fix that immediately. Order the roast pork. At this point I'm starting to wonder if the chickens are real or if I've been the victim of an elaborate prank. Fortunately, the food more than made up for my poultry disappointment. We ordered a couple different wing flavors, including the Honey Mustard and a blueberry-based sauce, and both were excellent. The wings themselves were massive, meaty, and cooked really well. The Honey Mustard had a nice balance of sweetness and tanginess with just enough mustard bite to keep it from feeling overly sweet. The blueberry flavor was surprisingly good too. It had a sweet-tart fruitiness that sounds unusual on paper but worked really well with the smoky, savory wings. Both sauces had plenty of flavor without completely overpowering the chicken. The atmosphere is classic neighborhood pub. Cozy, casual, and the kind of place where people seem comfortable settling in for the whole evening. Downstairs there's a bar and shuffleboard area that definitely attracts a younger crowd. It gets pretty lively and noisy, which adds to the fun if you're there with friends. My only real complaint is that parts of the place felt a little messy. The stairs leading downstairs were sticky, and parts of the basement floor were too. Nothing that ruined the experience, but it was noticeable. The staff, however, were fantastic. Fast, friendly, and personable. Even when things were busy, they kept everything moving and made us feel welcome. Overall, it's a fun spot with great wings, good energy, and a laid-back crowd. Still giving it four stars because I left without seeing a single chicken, and I feel mildly betrayed. But if you're looking for a place to hang out with friends and eat some seriously good wings, it's definitely worth the visit.
