We were in town overnight prior to a family event and hadn't had Korean food in a while. This restaurant is nicely appointed with a clean comfortable, modern and has 11 tables for the Korean BBQ experience. They also have seating for those ordering other items on the menu. The service was attentive. In fact the service team does all the cooking on of the BBQ table side. We ordered the Kimchi Jigae Combo which is photographed here, both the meats prior to cooking and the accompaniments. The meats included brisket, a ribeye steak, and a deboned short rib. This was plenty of food for the two of us. The steak was cooked to order. All the food was good and we enjoyed the experience but make sure you allow sufficient time to enjoy the experience. This restaurant is BYOB but there is a liquor store in the shopping plaza. They also have some delicious non alcoholic fruit punches on the menu. We each had a pineapple one which was tasty and not overly sweet. We would come back if we are in the area.

I'm writing this on behalf of my parents. They had been eating here pretty often since they just moved here from an area that didn't have many Korean restaurants. They loved having decent Korean food nearby. But recently, they had a not-so-great interaction with a male staff there- they were quite rude apparently. The times I've been there with my parents, I'd notice how stingy they were with things like banchan. So now that Hmart reopened, at least they have other places to go for Korean food. :P but seriously, for a Korean restaurant you should be doing better in treating the elderly with respect.

This was my first time trying Dolsan Korean BBQ, and it truly set the bar high. The vibe is very high-end, quiet, and refined, making it a great choice if you want a more relaxed, elevated experience. Everything is served à la carte, and the servers cook the meat for you, which takes away any pressure and lets you fully enjoy the meal. They also offer combos (we did Combo A), if you don't want to do à la carte. Everything was well seasoned, and the banchan were sooo good. The scallion salad did come out halfway through the service... I personally would've loved it from the beginning with the rest of the dishes, but overall, it was refreshing to have. Portions were very generous as we ended up packing the bulgogi. It is on the expensive side, but well worth it for the quality. Did I mention they have SUSHI?!? It was pretty good.

Delicious, flavorful and satiating food. Loved everything (tried Dolsot Kolbe, rainbow roll and Jersey trio roll). Generous portions. The also served six little apps dishes which were excellent (kimchi, sesame cucumbers, fish cakes, potatoes, broccoli salad). Service was attentive. Moderately noisy due to loud music and patrons conversation. Nice interior ambiance.

Oh. My. Word! Stop reading this right now and just GO! This was my first time experiencing Korean BBQ and I could not have chosen a better establishment. From the minute we walked in, the owner greeted us and was amazingly kind and accommodating. We ordered special drinks ( a brown sugar milk tea for my bestie and passionfruit mango green tea for me) and the special drinks did take a while to come out but the servers were very apologetic. We ordered our appetizers and entrees at the same time and everything came out all at once, so next time I might order the apps first, but we started with the crispy potatoes and the dumplings. Now that I know how much food you get when ordering a combo, I may not order two apps next time, but the crispy potatoes with truffle aioli dipping sauce was so good I'm not sorry we did. We did the combo A, which came with even more than the menu stated, like a little dish of potato, macaroni salad, broccoli, rice, and various little plates of kimchi and radish and tofu. We also added the short rib, which I am SO glad we did because it ended up being our most favorite meat of the night, although all of it was fantastic. I thought we'd be cooking in the center of the table but our servers handled everything and were so impressive. The owner even stopped over to check on us and make sure everything was great and asked if we had any questions. I can't wait to go back again!

This place is awesome in every way. Beautiful interior, friendly staff, great quality food and service. I came in for lunch with my wife on a Thursday for BBQ. We got Combo A for two and added the spicy pork bulgogi. Everything was amazing but the star was the beef bulgogi. The brisket was the second best, especially wrapped in the super fresh lettuce. The kimchi was very good, as was the tuna and yellow tail sashimi. The egg side was amazing too. Expensive lunch but worth every penny. We will be back very soon.

I'm always weary of trying new Korean restaurants bc usually they're not good and overpriced but I gave this place a shot and was pleasantly surprised! The interior was very new, modern and sleek. I loved the ventilation system so I didn't smell like smoke after. We started with ddukbboki and got the beef combo for 2 with cold noodles and kimchi stew. The ddukbboki was good. The sauce had a good flavor, I wish the rice cakes were a tad bit chewier but overall yummy! The beef combo was the perfect amount for 2 people, I just wish more veggies were included like garlic and onion bc that's a necessity with the perfect bbq bite! The galbi and brisket were my favorite. The skirt steak was way too chewy for me. The banchans were pretty tasty too and the kimchi was on point! The cold noodles were tasty but it just needed something, maybe a little more beef broth flavor but the noodle texture was perfect. All in all I enjoyed my meal here and you know it's gonna be good when the kimchi is good! Can't wait to come back and try more dishes

(If you've never had it, it's a sweet squash and it's delicious and you should definitely try it!) We started with the salmon skin salad which was so unique! It has all our favorites! Salmon skin (obviously) kani, seaweed salad, and caviar. We got the sauce on the side because we were worried it would be too spicy, but it was delicious! It was still good that it was on the side so I could control how much I used. Next we shared the kampyo (or is it kanpyo? I can never remember) roll and a mackerel and tamago roll (not on the menu but they made a great one and you should try that too!) Finally we shared tofu teriyaki. They served SIX huge pieces of tofu (probably an entire brick of tofu) The sauce was delicious and it came with onions and veggies. If I had to nitpick, the veggies could be cut a little smaller but no complaints over all. We are taking most of the tofu home. The service was great. Our server was polite and professional. I didn't even have to ask for fresh plates between the sushi and the tofu. As for atmosphere, it's a little dark but they play great music (lots of '80's!). The music is soft and not obtrusive. We will definitely be back!

Enoki and egg soup is my favorite appetizer. Light broth with umami and perfect saltiness. My second favorite appetizer is agedashi tofu. So silky like pudding with light teriyaki broth. Beef roll up with scallions: beef is tender with some kind of sweet teriyaki sauce. It's pretty good. Eggplant filled with ground chicken. It looks appealing but unfortunately a bit too greasy. The sushi here is very special. The sushi rice is silky and moist. The fish piece is bigger than the rice. The eel is a must try here. It's very big compared to the rice underneath it. It very flavorful too. Mt entree is steamed salmon with seafood broth. I recommend squirting the lemon to the broth to make it taste like yuzu sauce as it lightens the whole dish and makes it less fishy.

PRO: I will say, if you want a place where you can sit and have a conversation, dark mood lighting (especially forgiving if the last time you saw each other alot was 20 years ago! - LOL), Sagami is an excellent choice. PRO: They don't rush you out - take your time. It was a Thursday night, so not especially busy when we came at 6:30 PM. CON: I could not find an updated menu online - I'm one of those people who like to peruse a menu in advance. I started with a vegetable tempura appetizer ($10) - excellent, light, airy, tasty. My main was the dragon roll - very tasty. Service was quite nice. Appetizers came out almost immediately, the rolls took a lot longer to get to our table. This is the kind of place where you're not paying to fill up your belly - but if you do, expect to shell out some bucks.

I am not sure if they have Japanese roots but everyone took the time to make our experience and food phenominal, which is a part of the Japanese culture. The actual fish quality and care in preparation with the little additions of yuzu and other spices on the individual pieces were amazing! It was like every piece was served as omakaze. Also, the chef served the highest quality and cuts of fish. This was a second visit for us. I usually do a review after two visits to judge a location and this place exceeded our first visit... I thought the first visit was a fluke because of how good it was. Now I believe they are actually this good.. The locals that live around here have a plethora of places to go to for sushi (we know because we have been to em all), but this place is the Gold Standard in our opinion. We live about 40 minutes away and made the trip here because of what I remember from our last visit. The ambience is cool with tons of pictures of private parties and fun times people have here. I deff want to have them cater a sushi party for us soon! We went here the first to try some place new by searching Yelp.... However, I saw them pop up on either my Instagram or Youtube feed a couple weeks ago. I know sometimes InstaTube places are a disappointment, but do not be affraid to try here and form your own opinion.

My husband and I made a pitstop at the Cherry Hill Mall to use the restroom and on the way in we saw Kooma, with "martini bar" in the title. We were automatically intrigued. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a very pleasant staff. Since we did not want a full meal, we opted for a seat at the bar. My husband wanted to try a drink with peanut simple syrup, but unfortunately, the beverage was discontinued. Instead, he went with an Asian style old-fashioned. It was smoked using wood chips and was presented impeccably. Loved watching our bartender burn the chips on top of the drink to create the smoke in the glass. I selected a spicy, pineapple, passionfruit martini, which looked equally as beautiful as it was appetizing. For our snack, we selected the ceviche. Perhaps we didn't read the menu too closely, because this was a sweet ceviche with mango, instead of your traditional citrusy version we are used to. It was still very tasty, but the original style is my preference. Price wise, this place is a bit more on the expensive side, but you definitely feel the luxurious ambience in the atmosphere. Can't praise the bartenders/waiters enough enough. They were so attentive and sincerely friendly, which can be hard to find.
