I had booked a facial for both of us, but we were able to experience the foot scrub and the sauna for 30 minutes. The dry sauna is located in the corner of the room that we were being treat. It was great, though it could've been a little hotter. Still got a good sweat though. The facial was relaxing. From what I peeked, they use Dermologica as their main product. The surprising and best part of the whole experience was the Foot Scrub. We were treated with a scrub at the same time as the facial. After the exfoliation process, we were given a foot massage which was one of the best I've ever had. I will definitely be back for another treatment.

I believe the disconnect is they are used to servicing those with thick, dark eyebrows and dont know what to do with thinner, lighter brows. Here's why I took a star off: You get a free pass in the gym for your visit but I had been told that you can come back and use it at a later time and that staff had confirmed this previously (was it just lipservice??) so I didnt bother bringing my gym clothes. But the front desk spa staff said that the pass was only for the day of and when I asked at the main front desk some of the staff whom I assume was management hanging out at the desk rudely also told me that it was for the day of like I was trying to take advantage of them or something. Was that really neccessary? I didnt have my gym gear but I went to the women's locker room couch and vegged/relaxed. Then I got something at the not busy too cafe which I got to go which took more time than it should. When I got home, I opened the meal and it was the wrong order but completely delicious so I devoured it. I looked at their website just now and it turns out they charge 40 bucks for a gym daypass and 120 monthly for a one person membership. ouchy owie. I would go to the spa again but never pay for gym membership.

Annoying how the chain is set up to only offer 50 min (vs 60) and 80 min (vs 90) massage sessions unlike every other place. Gives off the impression that they're being stingy with time given to clients. 2. My first couple visits each time I felt like I was being sold to by both the receptionist and therapist which was weird. People go to spas to relax, so go softer on the selling. Membership should only be brought up once by receptionist. PRO TIP: While the membership does save you a bit of money if you know you're using it at least once a month, just know there are add on fees for extending to 80 mins and adding deep tissue. You also have to specifically request that you want deep tissue as an add on, it's not a given. it's tricky getting out of your membership- if you do end it, make sure to call at least 30 days PRIOR to the monthly renewal date or else you'll have another 2 months' worth of charges on your card.

My aesthetician was Ciara. I had my eyebrows, lips, under arms and Brazilian done. At soon as I walked in, I can smell weed on her, especially as her hands were close to my face, and I smelled it on her breathing on me. But that's not the worst. It felt like I was the first customer because the wax was really hot. I had mentioned it to her several times that it was hot and she even told me that she noticed it so when she did my eyebrows but she continued to do my eyebrows and upper lips. She even put more wax on top even after she said that she notice it. I did keep on letting her know that it was still too hot. She asked if this was the first time I've had wax done, and I told her - no. I've been getting waxed for the last 25 years. When I got to my car to check my face, I had large noticeable burnt spots under my eyebrows, both left and right and over my upper lip, both left and right. I went back to the store to show the manager, Francesca Moreira, to complain about the burn spots from Ciara. The manager told me that it looks a little red; and when I told her to look closer and that Ciara actually burnt skin off, she told me that she was not certified to say so or not. It does not take a genius to see that skin was taken from the hot wax. There's a huge difference. I'm not sure how she is the manager of a team of aestheticians, and not certified just to see that Ciara, or other aestheticians, actually took skin off when Ciara waxed my eyebrows and upper lip. I had to ask to talk to the Regional Manager, Tony Badolato, but she only offered to provide me an email. I had to call back several times because she provided two incorrect emails where it was undeliverable because it didn't exist. Finally, the front desk provided me with the correct one. It took 3x times to get a hold of the regional manager. I had to go to work with burnt scabs on my face. I cried upset over the whole experience. Bottom line, I will not be coming back to any European Wax location. This experience destroyed any expectation I might have with any other aesthetician they might have on staff or the managers they hire who don't have training or is certified in the service they provide. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I did get reimbursed but not until after I was asked to provide pictures for proof by the Regional Manager. It was a horrific experience. Never again.
