It was about an hour before they closed but were still doing pretty good business. The woman working behind the counter was extremely kind and exuded Southern hospitality. I reviewed the menu then ended up ordering the Cole Special Dipper (turkey, bacon crumbs, and melted American cheese) on wheat roll with Formula "45." My meal came out quickly and I was it was clear why. I was just underwhelmed by sandwich. I'm not sure if it was possible, but I would have liked lettuce and tomato on the sandwich. I also was surprised that the Formula 45 sauce came on the side. I though when I was choosing it that meant it came on the sandwich. I suppose the positive is that I was able to dip my sandwich and my chips in it. The good news it that the sauce was delicious. Maybe the highlight of the meal. The conversation coming from the kitchen kinda negatively impacted the experience. They were plenty loud talking about all sorts of stuff that probably would be rated R if it had been a movie. I'm not a prude, but just left a negative impression. All in all, it was fine. If I went back, I'd maybe try one of their salads.

The cute cashier answered every question we had about even the simplest thing on the menu. And the food. The food was beyond what you would expect when you walk through the door. My dad got a slaw dog that came with chili, onions, and a bunch of other things on it. My mom got a hamburger all the way and french fries - She could only eat about half of it. My husband got a triple burger with french fries which he raved about. And I got the grilled chicken Philly with mozzarella cheese and grilled onions that was so delicious that i only wish that I'd ordered a second one just so I would've had more leftovers. The portions are perfect and a little on the larger side so we took leftovers home. You have the option with each meal for two sides. And you can either double up on fries or do like I did and get fries and a mini side salad. I would go here again and again. I've mentioned it to a few people that have also raved about this place as well. What a hidden gen and what a great place when you're in the area. You will not be disappointed!

She ordered a quarter chicken dinner. It came with three sides and she chose salad with Vinegariette dressing, green beans, and the hash and rice (she said mainly so I could try it). The chicken was great. Quarter chicken with wing and very moist. The green beans were perfect. I like the southern style green beans - my wife likes the al dente. These were my style. The BBQ Hash and rice was also very good. Her dinner also was served with a regular bread roll. The waitress was very prompt in seating us and taking the order. We were served in probably 5-7 minutes after ordering. Very fast. We'll definitely go back. They currently don't have beer or wine but have put in for their license. RIght now they do not have any fish or shrimp on the menu but are looking to add shrimp and a low country boil in the near future. My son chose the Turkey club and I went with the BYO salad. We sat as we waited for our food. It was about a 10 minute wait. Our food was brought out and everything looked deelish! We enjoyed our meals and were checked on by the cook and the gentleman who took our order. Very welcoming environment. Try them out!
