After browsing the online menu, I called to place an order for a large thin crust pizza with beef meatballs and extra cheese. Within half a hour, my pizza was ready for pickup. The restaurant doesn't seem to be setup for dining in for its a cute spot with ample parking and near a Main Street, so very convenient for ordering takeout. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of the gorgeous, cheesy pizza - but prehaps I'll post another review with photos the next time I order from this pizzeria. The pizza was delicious, glad I requested extra cheese and the toppings wed evenly distributed over the pizza so each bite was great. The Nashville hot chicken is fantastic, and their burgers are absolutely phenomenal. We also love that they're always changing up the menu, so there's always something new to try. The star was the marinara dipping sauce. I'm not one of those people that goes crazy over marinara. I take it or leave it but damn was it good! I'm ashamed to admit I might have finished what was left like it was a shot. Ordered a side of calamari too. Breading wasn't too heavy and had good seasoning. Came with the same marry me marinara. Wish I had ordered a pizza but although they might have fulfilled it I was already there minutes to close. Love this place. Wish it was closer. Staff genuinely nice and they deserve to be recognized. Continued expansion may be inevitable, so I figured I'd give their food a try see where it stacks up against other chain pizza stores. For Pi Day (March 14th) they had a special of a 6" mini pizza for free with the purchase of a 20oz soda. I got extra cheese and linguisa (a type of sausage) on the pizza. I also ordered six garlic not-knots for an appetizer. The garlic not-knots were very good. I didn't read the item description before ordering since I assumed they were just garlicky dough, so I was pleasantly surprised that they had cheese on/in them and a little crunch from the baked cheese. The pizza was ok. The linguista didn't stand out like I hoped it would and the amount of cheese on the pizza is what I would have expected it normally have, so I don't know if they added extra or not. That said, I'd rather have their pizza than Domino's, Pizza Hut, Toppers, or Little Caesars. Papa John's is still my preferred chain pizza store though. Two things that may hurt this Mountain Mike's chances of succeeding: price and location. Their pizzas are pretty expensive (for example, a 14" cheese pizza is $25). I definitely recommend signing up for their rewards to get discounts rather than paying full price. As for location, this particular strip mall is always packed, making parking very difficult. Being in a busy area not far from Southridge Mall is fine if you want a lot of potential customers, but that location might be a turn off once people try to visit.

Apparently the sangria is not on the menu, but they did a good job of making one up. We got served in plastic cups, but saw that others were drinking out of glass (should we have had to ask?). The burger was flavorful, and hot. The sidewinder fries were also hot and well seasoned. The brisket sandwich was excellent. Couple of slabs of moist brisket, with a nice fat cap. The sweet potato fries were ok, but over seasoned. After we got our food, our server was MIA. Never came back to ask how things were, and we had to flag them down to get our check. (they were chatting it up with some other employees near the kitchen). In short, the food was very good. But the atmosphere and the server have a lot to be desired. This one did not make my "got to come back to" list.

When they say generous toppings I wasn't expecting basically a bag of bacon crumbles on a sub. There were 2 tomatoes hardly any lettuce and a mountain of crushed crumbled bacon. I understand the neat for prep and more then likely the bacon is also used for pizza. But for a sandwich....please please consider strips....it was so messy and overwhelming to eat. It felt like a bag of salad topping bacon on a bun rather then a good sandwich. Your prices are reasonable and good and I love your little corner atmosphere...I just hope you can reconsider your bacon choice for subs. Otherwise I am still a fan and will continue to get your pizza.
