Decided to try The P&B station after a recommendation. We arrived on a Wednesday to a mostly empty place! We sat at the bar, the bartender promptly greeted us & made our drinks. We tried the buffalo cheese curds for an app which were tasty but not cheesy enough for me. Love that they have different flavors! I ordered the pickle burger & stuffed pepper soup for my meal. The soup was to die for! The burger was delicious but the pickle spears slid off. Pickle chips would be a better choice. Been here several times. I feel it's a solid choice. Variety of sandwiches, pizza, fish fry and many weekly specials. I love their homemade soups. I usually have a chicken wrap (several varieties). Recently, my dining partners have had the fish fry and baked fish. They offer a battered fish, or lightly breaded. The lightly breaded was well received! Garlic baked topping was very salty on the baked fish. The bartenders and servers are attentive and always working hard. I wasn't that hungry, so I had that Italian Panini and upgraded to the cauliflower soup. I can't believe how big that Panini was! The beef was tender, and it was so delicious! (I live 0.5mi down the road on Green St off of Woods) I had to update my review from 3yrs ago because the Friday fish fry has gotten WAY too greasy for our tastes, especially for the price. Bass Bay is much better (less greasy and fresher) and it's roughly the same price. We also don't order the pizza from here because they put too much sauce on, and it has a sweeter taste which we don't care for. In the area, comparable thin crusts that are WAY better. 1) Crossroads, 2) Zaffiros, 3) Avalanche My recommendation is to try these places and copy them the best you can. Came here for the first time with my boyfriend, after it was recommended from friends. We both had wings, him garlic Parmesan and myself sweet chili. He said the flavor/sauce of his was good but we both agreed that the wings were way overcooked and super crunchy, definitely hard to eat. I hated my sauce, it was poured over so not all of the chicken was covered but also it tasted identical to a very cheap version of just good ole sweet and sour sauce. It was like eating the gooey sauce directly from a glass jar. My boyfriend tried mine and agreed with the flavor. He actually ended up throwing it up a few hours later. When I got it, there were onions and no cheese. This wasn't the end of the world of course. But our server never checked how everything was so I was stuck with this no matter what. Very impressed with all aspects. Shauna, our bartender, was great and very personable. She worked her tail off taking care of everyone. I ordered the fish fry combo. Cod, perch, and shrimp. They offered beer battered or hand battered. I asked for the lighter of the two, and hand battered was suggested. It was perfect. It provided a crispy coating that did not overpower the fish. I was expecting a Muskego dive bar with really good food. The place is actually very nice and not a dive at all. I had a patty melt with onion rings as a side. I love that III can choose fries, rings or coleslaw. What a nice option. The patty melt was greasy (as they all are), cooked to perfection and delicious. The rings were the star of the show though. Yummy My wife asked for a bowl of the creamy cauliflower soup of the day. They ended up bringing her a vat of it and she loved it. She also commented that the crackers were a much better fit with the soup than the usual brands that you see. The service was excellent and friendly and they had the Brewers on 2 TVs, the Bucks playoff game on 1 and the draft on a 4th. I'll be eating in the bar every time. I've lived in Muskego 25 plus years and have driven past this place a million times. Finally tried it tonight, specifically, for the take out pizza. So, I can't comment or rate service here because it was a pick up. Guy that waited on me was nice enough. The CDC mask mandate ended yesterday, I'm Vaxed, so getting COVID is not a major concern for me but I was the only one wearing a mask which I wear for others safety, not my own. On to the pizza. Larger than other pizzas in Muskego at a fair price. Very big and fresh veggies and meat. We really liked their pizza sauce, just slightly sweet which we enjoyed. The crust was very good but not excellent. My only thing is that I like a lot of garlic and it was light on the garlic so I would ask for extra garlic next time. Family in town from CA and only one Friday for fish. After considering many options we chose P and B largely because it was close and we were tired of discussions by then. One in party had perch, we were shocked by the large pieces and large portion- he reported that is was very good though he tends to prefer smaller pieces he truly enjoyed the breaded fish and claimed it was not greasy. One had a cheesesteak, she is very picky and she loved it- that's rare as she never seems to like our restaurant meals. The other three had cod, breaded and we all agreed it is our new favorite fish fry. This is an example of "Don't judge a book by it's cover". I drive past the Pack N Brew all the time and finally decided to try it. WOW - What a pleasant surprise. The menu is the typical burgers, sandwiches, & pizza. But they also have daily specials. I tried the Bacon, Mushroom, Swiss Burger w/choice of fries, onion rings, or coleslaw. Prices are around $10 for burgers. It was excellent!! The mushrooms were fresh, full strips of bacon bigger than the bun, and a super fresh (and delicious) bun all cooked and prepared perfectly. It must have been a 1/2 lb burger, which was very filling. The fries were very good as well and plenty of them. The Thursday special was steak (I saw someone else having that and was told it was very good), and also a fried chicken dinner (also available on Sunday). They even have home-made ice cream w/3 different flavors. All this from a place that looks like a corner bar. I was also pleasantly surprised by the beer selection on tap. Not a ton of choices, but some good ones that you don't find everywhere. Now, the service was also top notch and a very friendly atmosphere. The bartender, Kent, was super nice and very knowledgeable about the menu, daily specials, and knew everyone that was coming and going. Great new local establishment with friendly service. Their pizza is my favorite, especially the Muskego Special. Most of the other menu items are solid as well. Got delivery (yay -- nice to not have to go out to pick up) the other night after the "safer at home" thing. Had the fried chicken (very good); chicken & bacon sandwich and a children's pizza. All was good. Delivery took a little while, but I know they were very busy and the food was still warm when it got here. My only complaint is that I asked for "light cheese" on the pizza -- I think there is something in the Wisconsin law that says "you must be crazy if you don't want extra cheese" and we DID get extra cheese.
