Date of visit: January 16, 2026 This is a favorite with many of the teams at work, but I haven't always been able to partake as many of their recipes are very heavy on onions and those frankly, are just not my jam. Since I was ordering this time for a non-work event, I had control of the mic, er, keyboard, and was able to order online things that I would be sure to eat. But of course I considered the desires of the others in the group as well! Online ordering was a snap and while I don't have enough points yet to get anything, I appreciated that I was working towards something with the nearly $70 I spent on the food. While not cheap, the pizza was quite good. The two different types of pepperoni they have is very interesting and the chicken alfredo pizza was outstanding! Everything we got was a big hit with the fam. The place itself is small, but the handful of booths and tables would allow you to dine in if you so chose, and they were very smart with the window tinting given how your headlights shine directly into the restaurant as you turn into the parking lot. read more

This place never disappoints! The staff was super friendly and helpful as they were soooo BUSY! I ordered for a specific time and they NAILED it! Piping hot and fresh Italian beef pizza, spinach calzone (sadly they discontinued artichoke hearts!!) why? It pairs soo well with spinach! But the calzone dough is pillowy delicious with Marinara sauce to dip. Jalapeño poppers are a bit spicy but plenty of cream cheese. Mozzarella sticks were also on point and pretty standard. Ordered April special pizza "Ham in Space" and "Border to Border" for delivery. Pizzas arrived on time. Leftovers heated well the following day. Topped the Ham in Space pizza with a fried egg. First time customer and wow, love this pizza! The crust is my favorite type of crust - not too thin, not too thick. Husband and I opted to try the deluxe and the thai pie pizzas - we got the 10" and it was perfect so we could have leftovers the following day. They have not always been great with timing but did good this time. We ordered 2 14" 2- topping pizzas for carryout and it was ready when we picked it up. They were warm and tasty!! Never had a bad experience with Glass Nickel! I have enjoyed their food via delivery, carry-out, and dine-in in their small lobby area. Always hits the spot! Their pizza is made well. It seems to be good quality and that shows in the taste. It is definitely the best delivery pizza in the area. They have even more than pizza too! I love their calzones. They are huge, reasonably priced, and delicious. You get to choose your own fillings, and their ricotta & house cheese blend make the calzone delicious. Their sauce is fresh and tasty, too! Lots of choices, so you'll find something for everyone! A bit pricey compared to other delivery pizza options, but like I said, their quality is obviously better so I guess you get what you pay for. read more

We do the work lunch thing here from time to time and a coworker suggested we do the Glass Nickel because we have not been here in a long time. Since I'm working my way around the menu I thought that I would try a hot sandwich this time and the Bomber would be a good choice because I have a thing for meatball sandwiches. I like to get certain sandwiches on garlic bread because it just takes some sandwiches to the next level of deliciousness, not all sandwiches need apply but a meatball with mozzarella is definitely one that is perfect for the upgrade. We gathered a list of food to call in which consisted of pizzas, sandwich and garlic bread sticks. I was willing to pay an up charge for the bomber on garlic toast which I thought was ok because garlic toast is on the menu which I have had before and the person who placed the order looks at me to say that they can't make my sandwich on garlic toast, WTF I'm willing to pay the up charge for garlic toast which is on the menu and they can't make my sandwich on garlic toast. This crappy customer service crap is just unbelievable because the garlic toast is on the menu but they were not willing to make the sandwich that I wanted, it's a simple request that has garlic toast on the menu that I was willing to pay for, I'm not asking for theFu%#ing moon here. I'm probably done with the Glass Nickel and will not participate in any work lunch from now on from this place over such a stupid experience, come on GN way to loose a customer. read more

The owners keep a super clean restaurant, repair men would tell us how clean it was compared to other big name restaurants. For that reason alone you should go here. Got a delivery of their Family Special, which for $30 included a 14 inch Specialty Pizza, a 14 inch 1 topping, and a 2 liter beverage. We chose the special of the month, "The Vesuvius" based on their description and the photo on their website. The delivery took about a half hour, earlier than the 45 to 60 minutes they said it would take, but both pizzas were disappointing! The special pizza looked as if was on a 7 day fast because it didn't look anything like the one portrayed on their website. Both pizza boxes were laden with grease and the pizza soggy! All the toppings were sparse with the red pepper almost non-existent. The site said there would be an eruption of flavor, but this volcano was dormant! We've had pizza at their restaurant which has about 5 tables, (presumably because their main focus is carry out or delivery). The pizza at their location was excellent. It makes me wonder if they scrimp on toppings when you order their online deals or use coupons. If we try them again, which may not happen, we will eat on site, not order takeout or get delivery. read more

Been stewing over this for a day now. I held back on it, thinking I might be overreacting: but I just keep getting angrier. I've been eyeballing the Glass Nickle for a while, had heard good things about their pizza. La add t night I decided to give them a try. I ordered online, and showed up at tv heir Bluemound & Elm Grove rd store to pick up my food. The lot, unsurprisingly, was empty save for a delivery car pulling out. I pulled up in front of the doors, expecting the they would send someone out with my food, as does every vendor currently in business. And I waited. Ther was a person at the host table just inside the doors who looked directly at me, and did nothing. And I waited. Nothing happened, so I pulled in to the handicapped parking spot (my left foot was amputated last year and I walk on a prosthetic leg) and I hobbled up to the doors. I knocked, twice, and the person inside ignored me. About this time, a delivery guy pulled in to the lot and walked toward a service door. I asked him how I could get my food. He replied, "Oh, you have to call in on the phone: then they'll bring it out." Funny. Nothing on their website mentioned this. And douchebag was still sitting in the foyer ignoring me. So I limp back to my truck to get my phone. While I'm doing so, a hatchback pulls in to the lot and a girl come as out of the restaurant IMMEDIATELY with two pies. I call to her and inquire about my order. After getting my name wrong twice (how do you screw up 'Cain'?), she said she'd check on it. And I waited... 10 minutes later she comes out with my pie. And this is the part I have a problem with. I am sitting in the disabled parking spot, with my permit displayed, and WITH MY PROSTHETIC LEG HANGING OUT IF THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR, and she very intentionally walks past my door and places the pizza box on my hood as far away from me as she can. I point out my handicap and ask her to hand me the box so I don't have to go fetch it, and SHE REFUSES. "We have a no contact policy: if you had a trunk, I'd have to put it in there." I am cognizant of Covid precautions and their necessity: but this is nonsense. You should, as a business person, make allowances for people who plainly need a bit of extra help. This was the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. Incidentally, the pizza was pretty good. Zero of ten for customer service. read more

Yummy was the best way to describe this pizza. I ordered yesterday for my office at work and it arrived at a reasonable time. I ordered 1 cheese pizza and 1 sausage pizza. This place is supposed to be known for its pizza... but dare I say the salads are just as good (if not better)? This is the third time I've ordered from Glass Nickel and they've consistently impressed me. Usually the wait time for delivery is around an hour, so if you're hungry it's faster to drop in (especially on a rainy day when they're slammed with calls). As for dining in, there is very limited eating space - not ideal if you plan to eat with the family as they only have like a dozen small tables. I usually order the Cobb Salad (sub the chicken for Ham and add Black Olives). The large box is enough to make a meal of its own; you may even have leftovers for the next day. Here we are well after the holiday season and they're short staffed. You only can get pizza and nothing else on their menu. Reason given was that some are still on vacation? Ordered delivery again. We were told 45 minutes to an hour and the driver arrived at 45 minutes on the dot. Pizza was very hot. We ordered the Margherita and the Border-to-Border. The Border comes with spicy maranara sauce, canadian bacon, pineapple, jalapeños and diced tomatoes. I was really surprised at how big the menu was. Most of the pizzas can be made gluten free and many of the salads also come gluten free. So if you have someone with sensitivities it is nice to know you can choose this place. I thought much of the food was pretty good. I ordered take out from Grub Hub. This was the first and probably the last time I order from here. The pizza was over cooked- so the cheese was hard to bite through. Toasted ravioli- skip them. The mozzarella sticks and wings were very good but it wasn't worth the drive. I have other local places that have MUCH better pizza. I've had really good pizza from glass nickel pizza at different locations. This location is hit or miss. Today, I ordered delivery and it took an hour and a half to arrive. I called to ask becayse the email said it was out for delivery 30 minutes prior. Finally, the gentleman on the phone said if the food was cold at arrival, he could remake it. Long story short- my pizza was butned, cold and looked so sad. The nickel nuggets were liquidy? There was actual water inside the container, and they were cold and chewy. I called the store back to see what could be done, and the manager said he could remake it. I was unsure about waiting a long time for a remake so asked for a refund, but the manager was unable to issue a credit card refund. He actually did not know how and I would have to wait until tomorrow to find out if it was possible. He assured me that he would personally make and deliver the order, but needed the bad pizza back. That stikes me as odd, but ok. He did deliver the order fresh and hot in 13 minutes, and also gave me a coupon for 10$ off for next time, which is appreciated. The pizza was good. The nickel nuggets needed to be fried in clean oil. It was just an ok experience but took far too long on a tuesday afternoon. read more

Think Papa John's style but a notch up. I ordered the 14 inch (medium) of what I think was called "the works" and it was actually a lot bigger then what I was expecting. You can tell that their crust is hand tossed and their toppings are clearly fresh.
