The Greenfield location for Mountain Mike's Pizza is the first in the Midwest (the closest…read morelocations previously were in Texas and Colorado). Continued expansion may be inevitable, so I figured I'd give their food a try see where it stacks up against other chain pizza stores. For Pi Day (March 14th) they had a special of a 6" mini pizza for free with the purchase of a 20oz soda. I got extra cheese and linguisa (a type of sausage) on the pizza. I also ordered six garlic not-knots for an appetizer. The garlic not-knots were very good. I didn't read the item description before ordering since I assumed they were just garlicky dough, so I was pleasantly surprised that they had cheese on/in them and a little crunch from the baked cheese. The pizza was ok. The linguista didn't stand out like I hoped it would and the amount of cheese on the pizza is what I would have expected it normally have, so I don't know if they added extra or not. That said, I'd rather have their pizza than Domino's, Pizza Hut, Toppers, or Little Caesars. Papa John's is still my preferred chain pizza store though. Two things that may hurt this Mountain Mike's chances of succeeding: price and location. Their pizzas are pretty expensive (for example, a 14" cheese pizza is $25). I definitely recommend signing up for their rewards to get discounts rather than paying full price. As for location, this particular strip mall is always packed, making parking very difficult. Being in a busy area not far from Southridge Mall is fine if you want a lot of potential customers, but that location might be a turn off once people try to visit.

The restaurant was clean, service was friendly, and the pizza was good. The salad bar looked very fresh. Prices are a little steep, but most things are these days. Minus 1 star because the wings were just ok. Lots of parking in the strip mall parking lot. Pepperoni was a stand-out. We will return!

The event was supposed to have two food trucks, but due to the weather, it was only Flour Girl and Flame. Though the line was long, it moved quickly and the workers were super sweet and friendly! They were killing it! I got the Pep in Yer Step pizza and the hot honey was so good! I'm already planning to go to another one of their events soon! I'll have to check out their brick and mortar in the fall!

They had a special pizza, which was red sauce, mozz, ramps (which is a type of onion), pepperoni and a garlic drizzle. This pizza was so delicious. We also opted to try the Smolwaukee pizza; this did NOT disappoint. The buffalo wings were amazing and I was really eyeing the bbq ones but opted for the buffalo. I'm not too down with this hot honey fad, so they were able to keep the hot honey off, which I appreciated. They had a Buffalo ranch that complimented the wings so well. This spot does stop serving food May 7th and transition to their food truck. The space is then used to rent out for events and such. I truly look forward to eating here again!

I've ordered delivery from Bennet's twice in the last few weeks. It's definitely not bad but…read moretruthfully, I'm ordering from them because they're open late at night and they deliver. Dare I say, they're kind of like a Southside Pizza Shuttle or Zayna's. Ya know, delicious only late at night. The pizza was good. It's a nice diversion from the standard Milwaukee cracker crust. I'm not sure if it was the sauce, the pepperoni or both but the pizza had a nice little kick of spicy that I enjoyed. The orange dip in the photo was supposed to be a garlic butter but I wondered if that was correct since it was orange and neither garlic nor butter are orange. Dunno. The loaded fries come with cheese whiz, sour cream and some fresh, real bacon. And, they were so good! The fettuccine Alfredo can be made with sausage, chicken or meatball. It was tasty but very rich. I was a bit disappointed with the value of the pasta dish as it came in a very small serving with little pasta. I'll definitely be ordering from Bennet's again. Perhaps I'll skip the pasta in the future. Delivery has always been without a problem.
