Meanwhile the young man was slicing my meat, he slid my top bun across the counter and that lady came from the back picked up my bun with the same gloves she was touching everything with, I simply ask if shed change her gloves and she said nothing picked up the entire sandwich with what I feel was an attitude and walked away. She then reappeared whispering in the young mans ear that started making another sandwich. Then she did it again, used the same gloves, so I tried to explain that I wasn't being difficult or rude but needed clean gloves and she cut me off. She thru her hands up and said "I DID CHANGE MY GLOVES" really loud like to argue the guy cutting the meat jump'd in and said she did. I said I didn't know if she heard me, she never said anything she just walked away with an attitude. When I seen she had a bad attitude and wanted to argue I ask if I could just have it Mikes way and she began adding the ingredients. I ask for vinegar and she said " IT COMES WITH VINEGAR'" really NASTY. I then said im sorry I meant a little xtra. She then took the entire bottle turnt it upside down and drown the sandwich I walked out. I told my son it's over she's rude nasty and unsanitary to slide someones sandwich across a counter using the same gloves she's doing everything else with is nasty and unsanitary. My son went in to ask for the corp # and was met with her telling the staff not to tell us nothing turning her back on him like she didn't have to give any info or suggest we take a card. She's very impolite and I feel that she did it thinking that they'll be no consequence for her attitude and rudeness, or giving bad customer service. She said she couldn't give out the store mgr or Dist mgr name or number we could use the card. There's a huge issue when ppl assume they can talk to certain ppl or any customer however they want all while being disgustingly unsanitary regarding food. Like I had no right to be concern about what I seen and was given. I guess we can cross this off our list of local merchant to shop with. Im disappointed bc were New home owners in the area and I feel Plainfield gets a bad wrap. She's only added to that myth making the description and behavior of food service workers in this area seem unprofessional and rude validated. Exhibiting disgusting sanitary practices and very poor customer service skills around food is a disaster waiting to happen. She was cocky and its my opinion she doesn't think there would be any consequences she's clearly not training the staff under her the proper way to treat all customers. Luckily I brought 2 slices of cheese for a snack later at work. I ended up adding it to the sandwich to try to bulk it up. It was good but needed more meat. Paying extra for meat would basically put the sandwich where it should have been the first place. My sandwich looked nothing like the picture on their website which I included for comparison. Do better Jimmy John's -at least bulk it up with lettuce and tomato if you wont make a proper sandwich. I'm just wondering if the sandwich maker held back so he could add it to his own sandwich later on? IDK - but there is not much value for your money- only convenience.

The negative experience was the fact the water tasted weird. I took one sip and tasted a weird chemical taste but my husband and I didn't complain, we just paid and left. I don't know if it was the water or the cup but it definitely had a weird taste. Overall, the experience was ok. I think we had higher expectations seeing all the pictures online. The name of the place threw us both off because we thought it was a Latino owned burger joint with a Mexican twist but that wasn't the case at all.

There is an employee at this establishment named Nick Z., and he has got to be one of the most rude, uptight, snobbish, little delinquent brats I have ever dealt with in my life. He told me he won't give me a discount / offer based off of his rudeness and incompetence. Please don't go to this establishment, it is worth your money and dignity to go elsewhere. Don't embarrass yourself by going here, the whole staff in this place of business don't know how to treat a customer with the upmost respect, they treated me like the rats that they have in their kitchen. I despise this company with every piece of me, it is an absolute disgrace to call this place a restaurant, I spit on the graves of these worthless maggots. The only solution to this is to burn down the store with every employee inside. Absolutely disgusting. Within a day, I heard from a representative from Malnati's who apologized for not meeting our expectation's, thanked me for my honesty (which I truly appreciated) and wanted to make sure that before we left the area, wanted us to have a better experience with their food. In my first review, I had not mentioned that we had also gotten their Malnati's Salad which we really enjoyed. We got the family-sized salad and it was huge. Romaine lettuce, fresh tomatoes, black olives, tons of mushrooms and salami bits with gorgonzola cheese tossed with their Sweet Vinaigrette and Romano cheese. So good! So tonight, we had our second meal from Malnati's. We once again got that yummy salad we liked so much. We also decided to try their Bruschetta and their Three-Cheese Bread to go with our salad. They were both great. The Three-Cheese Bread was nicely cover with the cheeses and came with a red dipping sauce and was an ample portion. The Bruschetta had the toasted garlic rounds and the topping was in a separate bowl so we could make our own pieces fresh so they wouldn't get soggy. So I'm happy to change my review and say that we really enjoyed our dining experience with Malnati's. We also appreciate the effort and care that went into making sure we had a positive experience. Their staff couldn't have been more helpful with their service, all the food was tasty and fresh and it was so nice to have such great customer service, which could be called, "concern for customers". Thank you Malnati's, we'll get another pizza next time.
