While visiting family in Joshua Tree, we decided to order pizza in advance to pick up on our way. It was ready as soon as we arrived, and the pizza was delicious--great quality and flavor!

Ordered 2 pizzas tonight, a pacific veggie and a meat extravaganza with extra cheese. The veggie one was perfect, the meat extravaganza was horrible, no extra cheese, actually it had hardly any cheese, it also had bits of mushroom and bell pepper in it. This is the second time my pizza came this way, last time it was burnt on top of everything else

    a slice of pepperoni pizza

Pizza was greasy. Grease just dripped when a slice was picked up. Also asked for hand tossed and this is what they gave me.

My food was great. MY pizzas are always good here for the most part. Sometimes, the crust is a bit overcooked, but I like it a little on the crispy side so it doesn't bother me. The wings here are hit and miss. Sometimes they sauce them and shake them so they are nicely coated and other times you end up with a little bit of sauce squirted on the wings but mostly dry. There have been many times I get them and only get mid sections or only get drums. It is super annoying. It isn't that hard to evenly put them in. My biggest complaint here is the service. I always go there with a positive attitude as I know they are busy most of the time. This last trip was bad. I counted 7 people inside working Sunday evening. I was the only person inside when I walked in. Every single person working looked at me at least twice over the course of more than 5 minutes, but not even one of them acknowledged my presence. When I finally said excuse me, I was replied to with a rude "JUST A MINUTE!" Unbelievable. Service is everything. I waited another 2 or 3 minutes before one of the ladies asked what I wanted. I told her I was there to pick up my order which was sitting in the window the entire time I was there. She grabbed it and basically threw it on the counter at me and went right back to work. She didn't ask if I needed anything else or even say thank you or have a nice day. Also noted... there were only 3 tickets hanging up on there little line rack and it was still a bit early for dinner rush. The only reason I didn't leave one star was because my pizza was good.

    Looks gross dominos yucca valley..

Just tasted like ! It's sad when Little Cesar's is a better tasting pizza than Domino's. Cheese bread was without cheese. It just sucked.

Located next to the JT visitor center west entrance and about 5 miles from the park entrance. We arrived to this small local place just as they were opening at 7:30 am and they had breakfast sandwiches being made, mostly with bacon, egg and cheese but they'll make you sausage or other variation as well. They also have a good selection of other breakfast items like hard boiled eggs, cheese, fruits, yogurt parfait, salad and deli lunch sandwiches. Additionally they sell various hot and cold drinks, organic JT coffee beans that they'll grind for you, salty and sweet snacks, California dates and roadrunner t-shirts. Prices are not cheap but comparable to other similar places and Starbucks. We appreciated the friendly staff. The breakfast sandwich was delicious, though it did take a bit to make.

The cookies were good however wish they had more flavors other than the two.

ANYWAY. We have been here a couple of times - will usually stop by here when we're in Joshua Tree. On Saturdays, there is a Farmer's Market in the parking lot, so it gets pretty crowded. This last time we went, I got an iced strawberry matcha, and my partner got the chai iced tea. Both with almond milk. They still charge a surplus for non-dairy, which feels so 2022. But anyway. The drinks were delicious. We also got an almond croissant, which doesn't look like much, but it was AMAZING. And then the quiches. Oh, the quiches. I had such high hopes for these, especially since we were primed with refreshing drinks and a tasty pastry. These quiches are muffin-sized, perfect for a light meal or a heavier snack, and they look super cute. They will heat them up for you. When we went, they had bacon cheddar and spinach feta. We got one of each. My friends, these were so disappointing. First, no flavor. We asked for ketchup or hot sauce to give it a bit of acid, because it was basically egg all the way through. Solid wall of egg that tasted like the powdered egg you get at one of those corporate conference catered breakfasts. I had one tiny sliver of bacon in mine, and my partner was playing hide and seek with the spinach, and the spinach was winning. The crust itself was rubbery and chewy, not flaky like I would expect a quiche to be. I mean, it was palatable and not super expensive. I'm just not sure if you're selling food, you want it to just be "palatable". Last time, we got a savory veggie pie, and that was pretty good, so they DO have good savory foods. I think the quiches were just a huge miss this time. Bathroom is clean and single-stalled. Parking is easy in the lot, and on Farmer's Market days, I mean, c'mon, it's Joshua Tree, it's not like there isn't space on the streets too.

The turkey, while good, wasn't freshly carved, which took a little away from the "special" feel. And while the breakfast sando was light and all alone on the plate, the way the mayo fused the flavors together was delicious. But I do wish the beverage fridge had prices listed so I wasn't surprised at the register. The restaurant, while it's a bit tricky to find on the side of a building, inside is a modern space. It's spotless and very clean. The aesthetic is minimalist and if it were just you, it could feel a bit cold, if not for the steady buzz of activity behind the counter. There were three staff members who moved swiftly. As I watched I was impressed with their efficiency as the kept things running smoothly. When we entered an hour before closing, we made the mistake to sit and pause to look over the menu. It was a mistake because it seemed like the front door kept swinging open as wave after wave of hungry visitors poured in. My guess is these folks were all returning from Joshua Tree National Park. In fact, it felt like nearly everyone there had just come from the park. The business concept appears thoughtfully geared toward travelers, particularly those with a bit of disposable income and a discerning palate. Overall, this is a certified foodie stop: quality over quantity: taste over filling up.

It's located in a small plaza but parking was easy to find. First entering there r alot of food goodies sold including take away sides/meals. Looks crowded but no one ordering. There was an influx of people past 11am but the line moves so fast! I asked what was their most popular breakfast sandwich and the dyed red haired girl at the cash register said the turkey club sandwich. I dont like bacon so she suggested they remove that and sub avocado so i went with it! And also got the matcha hot with oatmilk. Partner ordered tuna melt and drip coffee. They give u a buzzer tho they ended up delivering it to our table. The cashier was really nice and entertained all my questions about the sandwiches and how they prepared their matcha. (It's not the matcha powder with the sugar already in it, whew! It tasted pretty ceremonial but not sure if it was- added one pack of sugar and sweetness was perfect for me. Just a tad grainy but overall very nice!) Sandwiches were delivered to where we were sitting after 10-15 mins or so. They are huge! And wow i dont normally order sandwiches these days bc i find the meats questionable and not pleasant to eat but this sandwich tasted so fresh. The meat and cheese.. the veggies.. the sourdough bread was cherry in top, nicely toasted with some butter or sauce. I took a half home and it was still tasted good a few hours later. I like how they add chips and the avocado on the side where i can dip the chips and put on my sandwich. My sandwich tasted so fresh with quality ingredients which im so happy about! My partner also enjoyed his tuna melt and coffee.. he said it was huge as each side of the tuna melt had a huge scoop of the tuna salad. Overall, the bustle and service/vibes of this cafe were so enjoyable and all the food so good! Recommend!
