While visiting family in Joshua Tree, we decided to order pizza in advance to pick up on our way. It was ready as soon as we arrived, and the pizza was delicious--great quality and flavor!

Ordered 2 pizzas tonight, a pacific veggie and a meat extravaganza with extra cheese. The veggie one was perfect, the meat extravaganza was horrible, no extra cheese, actually it had hardly any cheese, it also had bits of mushroom and bell pepper in it. This is the second time my pizza came this way, last time it was burnt on top of everything else

Pizza was greasy. Grease just dripped when a slice was picked up. Also asked for hand tossed and this is what they gave me.

My food was great. MY pizzas are always good here for the most part. Sometimes, the crust is a bit overcooked, but I like it a little on the crispy side so it doesn't bother me. The wings here are hit and miss. Sometimes they sauce them and shake them so they are nicely coated and other times you end up with a little bit of sauce squirted on the wings but mostly dry. There have been many times I get them and only get mid sections or only get drums. It is super annoying. It isn't that hard to evenly put them in. My biggest complaint here is the service. I always go there with a positive attitude as I know they are busy most of the time. This last trip was bad. I counted 7 people inside working Sunday evening. I was the only person inside when I walked in. Every single person working looked at me at least twice over the course of more than 5 minutes, but not even one of them acknowledged my presence. When I finally said excuse me, I was replied to with a rude "JUST A MINUTE!" Unbelievable. Service is everything. I waited another 2 or 3 minutes before one of the ladies asked what I wanted. I told her I was there to pick up my order which was sitting in the window the entire time I was there. She grabbed it and basically threw it on the counter at me and went right back to work. She didn't ask if I needed anything else or even say thank you or have a nice day. Also noted... there were only 3 tickets hanging up on there little line rack and it was still a bit early for dinner rush. The only reason I didn't leave one star was because my pizza was good.

Just tasted like ! It's sad when Little Cesar's is a better tasting pizza than Domino's. Cheese bread was without cheese. It just sucked.

Overall, I'd say it's a good choice for a pizza made from scratch. My only real negative was the customer service. The lady at the counter seemed uninterested and somewhat oblivious to basic customer service. I called my order in ahead of time, paid when I arrived, and was told it would be another 10 minutes. I came back just nine minutes later, and she had already forgotten my name and that I had paid. Place was empty as well, not busy. No offer of parmesan cheese or hot chili flakes. Finally, the caesar salad we ordered was large and came with a tiny, I mean super tiny plastic thimble of dressing barely enough to cover a leaf of lettuce. The pizza was definitely worth trying, but a little more attention to the customer experience would make the visit much better... and maybe more salad dressing?

The calamari was top notch and the cocktail sauce was amazing. It made me want to order more items that go with cocktail sauce just so I could eat the sauce. My son had the meat lovers pizza and it was almost movie like with how the cheese pulled. The dough was great and the toppings tasted very fresh. I had the Italian grinder with potato salad. The meat cuts were nice and thick and I enjoyed the parm bread. The potato salad, out of this world. I haven't had such good potato salad since my gramma was alive. She'd love it for sure. The service was awesome and on point. It was a very friendly atmosphere. The deserts looked good but we didn't have room left to try. I'll get the desert to-go next time. 10 out of 10 will go again

Their burger really satisfied my burger craving. The bun was perfectly toasted, patty was juicy, and veggies fresh. Their french fries were crispy and not overly salty. My family opted for the burger/sandwich of the day -- French dip with side of homemade chips. Their chips were crunchy and not too oily, but they were a tad salty for me. They had a display of many different locally made desserts (cakes, cupcakes, cookies), although they're not made in house. Staff is very friendly. They check in often and our water cups never hit empty. They have parking spaces on both sides of their building.

We missed our reservation time but decided to try a walk in because it was the whole reason we came into town in the first place. We were greeted by two really nice hosts who assured us there was room for us sooner than later and we were seated with our dog on the patio pretty quickly. They were so nice to us and doubly nice to our dog! We ordered fried eggplant, gazpacho, ceviche, a lamb burger, and got a lamb burger patty for the dog (we're not order food for the dog people but she was going through it too with the Walmart stuff so why not). We added a couple glasses of wine and their beer shandy and finished with a strawberry shortcake. Every bite was perfect but we rated them- Gazpacho, Lamb Burger, Eggplant, Ceviche. The gazpacho was a hit with the perfect amount of fresh/sweet cantaloupe and spicy-ness. This place was well worth the trip from Big Bear. My wife noted that everyone there that helped us legit looked happy to be there. There was also a medical emergency and the staff was so kind and helpful throughout and checked in on all the tables in the area afterwards. It kind of showed that they are invested in the people that visit.

We got really lucky - reservations open a month in advance, and we were headed to Joshua Tree the next day. I thought for sure I wasn't going to get a reservation and needed to think of a Plan B for date night. But I texted anyway, with an apology for it being so last minute, and they responded the day of confirming me for the next day! Yay! When we arrived, we asked for a seat inside, since it was super windy that day, and they were able to seat us within a few minutes. We got the butter lettuce salad (delicious), the socarrat (lots of peas and pea sprouts - this was AMAZING, and great the next day cold!), their version of bruschetta on their crispy thin bread - the bread was absolutely amazing. And we also got the tomato...um, I can't remember what it's called, but it has a base of sliced tomatoes, with hard boiled eggs, celery, and tuna aioli! Super refreshing on a super hot day. We also got a couple non-alcky drinks and left very happy. It was loud inside for sure - or, bustling, if we want to be more euphemistic. Service for us was a bit on the chilly side, but that might just be the night our server was having. There are 2 single-stalled bathrooms, and parking is very easy in the huge lot they have. I think we might circle back to this place after trying other eats around the area. This was a good time.
