While visiting Joshua Tree National Park, I was excited that a new BBQ restaurant has opened up nearby. Inside was clean and nicely laid out. They have 3 different kinds of all you can eat BBQ sauce, which was a plus. They tasted fine. I went in during the quieter time so they were not busy. The two attendants were friendly and helpful. I got my food fast. At first bite it the excitement went down. I got the 3 meats plate. I chose two pork ribs and one beef brisket. Both meat were dried. All the BBQ sauce in the world could not help the taste. The food was disappointing and the price was high. I'm hesitant to go there again. read more

I was looking for a good bbq place and I ran into this place the atmosphere is so family oriented I git a 3 meat plate with ribs pork and chicken the chicken was soft and juicy the ribs just melted in my mouth and the pork was delicious I got cabbage slaw and bbq beans and a Texas toast the cabbslaw was nice crunch like it was made fresh and the beans tasted lije they were homemade and the toast wasn't salty like I thought it would be I git my food in less than 5 minutes customer service was great they answered all of my questions I would definitely recommend this place if I'm in town I again I will definitely be stopping by again read more

My little family went here for dinner a few weeks ago while we were out shopping. We weren't originally going to go here since we wanted to try a new restaurant that opened. The new place was too packed and we did not want to wait. We love good BBQ so decided to try Dickey's out. I have heard a lot of mixed reviews, so I wasn't too sure what to expect. It was awesome. Was visiting Joshua tree with my family and the kids wanted some BBQ and we saw there was a Dickeys near by and thought we would eat here. When we got there the place was packed but the young brunette girl with the glasses working behind the counter was able to handle the crowd, even though she was completely by herself. The place was very nice and clean, the food was very delicious and was server surprisingly fast for the amount of people. I travel a lot and can always depend on Dickeys for a good meal. but this Dickeys has a specials feel to it. during my lunch yesterday I met the owner Stephen and Tim works the block. I really felt like family they let me try a bunch of things till I found what I wanted. I decided on Brisket and rib combo wow it was very much different then other Dickeys I've been to . tender and full of flavor. the rib were sweet. I've had to go a second time to make sure it was as good as the first. And it was! I sampled (and shared) between the two visits, four of the sides and three of the meat sandwiches. All of the meats were tender and sides were delicious. And I absolutely love a good lemonade and Dickey's lemonade tasted real and fresh! The decor was refreshing for Yucca Valley. so glad we have a BBQ place in Yucca valley. we had lunch here one day and it was so good that I had to review it. The staff when we came in were very busy but the line went really fast. the people eat there looked very satisficed. even though they were busy they were very friendly and helpful. we got the family pack out family is big about 10 people. I'm new to yelp but thought this restaurant deserved a great review. A group of us were hiking in Joshua tress and was googling to try and find a place to eat afterwards. After much debating we ended up at Dickeys. SO GLAD WE DID. Staff explained the menu and set up a special group pricing and menu. Food was stellar. We stopped in on a Saturday at dinner time with a party of 11. We ordered a family platter and an XL party platter plus sodas. The food was served quickly and yet it tasted freshly prepared. It was all delicious.
