Beef and chiken fajitas
Kayla S.

This place was a decent Mexican spot. I came here with my entire family on a weeknight and it was decently busy. The service was average and the food took a while to come out. The fajita meat was a bit dry, but the beans and rice helped with all the other sides like cheese and sour cream. A good and easy spot to come to with a big group.

Came here to eat haven't been in a while . Was a great experience wasn't to crazy busy, service was prompt, and our Server Carlos was very accommodating. It's not much but the fact that he took the tame to make changes to accommodate us on our order was a great experience. He could have easily said this is it, but he didn't just a small thing like that can turn a experience great. Restaurant was clean and not noisy so. The food was great.

The food here was really good, it had very great flavor! The salsa was sooooo good! The service was excellent as well. Our server was very patient and helpful at suggesting drinks. When we arrived, it seemed pretty quiet, but then the dinner rush arrived and the vibe was awesome! There was even love music. 10/10 will definitely be back!

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Good comfort Mexican food at reasonable prices, with friendly service. We were starving by the time we got into town, and we did a u-turn when we saw this place. We love our homey Mexican food and it delivered! It was well-worn but clean, and we were greeted warmly as we walked in. I started things off with a nice cold Michelada, which was huge (see my photo), and decided to get their Friday special, which was shrimp enchiladas with beans and rice. The hubby got the Vegetable Tostada, which came in a classic giant shell. Their complimentary chips and salsa were great, with light crispy chips and a decent heat to the salsa. We both thought the food was good and it really hit the spot. Service was friendly and efficient throughout. Their AC didn't extend beyond the dining room, however, so on the way to the bathroom I did get a blast of the desert heat, but overall a very nice visit. We will be back!

We were headed back home from Joshua Tree and were feeling Mexican so we stopped here. The parking lot is huge and I'd say the restaurant is big too. We had just missed the Sunday brunch and I was sad because it looked good too. It seems like it is a Buffett style with staple Mexican dishes and breakfast items. We were sat on the other side of the restaurant as they separate the two and we ordered very quickly. The food came out quick and the portions are huge. The chips and salsa were brought out first and the first batch is complimentary. The salsa was delicious and the horchata tasted great too. The burrito was good but I wouldn't say memorable by any means. I added a bunch of stuff to it for my own personal liking but ended up taking half home because it was so big. The kids taquitos plate was big for my daughter and I added guac and sour cream for her. My cousin got the torta and fries and she liked it and ate it all and the fries were very good. Good find but nothing we'd ever drive back out for. The service was fast but the server seemed so busy and wasn't too personable or friendly. The bathrooms were clean and it seemed like they were very busy for the Sunday brunch.

Very solid Mexican restaurant with a friendly staff, ample seating, an extensive menu, great Happy Hour specials, gigantic cocktail options (regular sizes too), and -- last but not least -- yummy food. Easy staples like quesabirria and quesadillas are good with plenty of meat. Plates are great and their sauces are tasty. Rice is just okay but the refried beans are SO good, probably the best around. The shrimp cocktail is tasty but could use more shrimp. Chili Verde anything is my favorite. They also now deliver!

Our last experience proved to be as solid as all our past visits. We always pick up meat to cook at our site or kitchen and always stop for lunch or breakfast before packing the cooler and heading east. Picked up 2 lbs of chorizo, some cheese and tortillas from the market and we got welcoming vibes and friendly customer service from the butcher and the girl working the register. The taco shop in back is super legit too. I got 6 tacos (2 asada, 2 adobada, and 2 carnitas), my wife got cheese enchiladas with red sauce, and my daughter got a bean, rice, cheese burrito. Everything was insanely good and properly cooked per usual. As others have mentioned, the tortillas are super fresh and fluffy. The enchilada sauce is some of the best red sauce you can get north of the border. All 3 types of tacos were properly marinaded and cooked to perfection. Bomb guacamole and hot sauce for the tacos. My daughter loved her burrito as well. We never drive past Kasa Market without stopping by and they NEVER disappoint!

I ordered the three rolled tacos with rice and beans. Love the fresh guacamole, lettuce, tomato's & cotija cheese on top! The menu includes the following: tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, enchiladas, tostadas, nachos, asada fries, combo plates, family pack (includes one pound meat, rice, beans, onion, cilantro, red or green salsa, flour or corn tortillas and liter of soda), catering (five or ten pounds of meat), breakfast plates and burritos. Meats to choose from: asada, pollo, alpastor, carnitas, deshebrada, lengua, tripa and buche. Nice, friendly, employees, great food, plenty of parking out front and in the back. Note; inside is a small seating area, however you can get it to go. Wish they were closer so I could visit more often!

We decided to sit down for lunch, and they had some pretty good deals going on for their specialty enchiladas: only $9.99 for two enchiladas with beans and rice. Hell yeah, dude! You even get to choose red or green sauce and shredded beef or chicken. It was absolutely delicious. My daughter and I shared an enchilada off of the children's menu. I've gotta say, our waitress was pretty freaking cool. She was super understanding of the fact that my child was frustrated because she was hungry, and she was very patient with us--which I appreciate, especially having anxiety in public. The cute little shop has plenty of seating, including kid-friendly options like high chairs and boosters. It's very clean and smells amazing! The food was out fast, hot, and delicious. The staff was friendly, courteous, and kind. Even the customers, who seemed to be regulars, were very understanding of the fact that my 10-month-old "chose violence" today. Thank you for hosting our lunch and being an amazing part of Yucca Valley! Guys, if you need a fast Mexican spot, this is definitely it. Enchiladas on point, rice on point, and the beans taste like you went straight across the border and got them from someone's abuela. BUT it was definitely the biggest, most positive surprise when it came to expectations vs. actual quality! We landed in Palm Springs late in the evening and were starving on our way out to Joshua Tree. After a quick Yelp search for something open past 7-8pm, this spot popped up. We pulled into a super quiet parking lot and found this tiny little place. Looking at it from the outside, we honestly figured it would just be a quick, forgettable pitstop. Boy, were we wrong. For starters, the place was relatively full for a Tuesday evening! We ordered the duck confit nachos, the kimchi bulgogi sandwich, and the pony wings. Wow! Granted, our expectations were unfairly low walking in, but this turned out to be probably our second-best meal of the entire week--and we ate out every single day! It absolutely crushed it in terms of exceeding expectations. It also helped that we happened to be there on a Wednesday, so all the wines were half-priced! Unfortunately, since we weren't familiar with the area, we didn't know exactly how much further we had to drive to our accommodations, so we couldn't imbibe more in such a welcoming environment. (Missed opportunity, but safety first!) Oh, and definitely save room for dessert--their pie with ice cream of the day was delicious too! If you are passing through, do not sleep on this place. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in the area!

The young lady who served us was very sweet and understanding. We had a 2yrld with us and we requested extra pickles (cuz that's all that toddlers want).Eventually another staff member visited our table for some chit chat and had a laugh. We ordered 2 entrees and an app. Crispy chicken sandwich - the crispy coating slid off of the chicken thigh but still had some good flavor. The jalapeño ranch was expected to have somewhat of a kick but was more of a love tap. Imo, the crispy potato chips were a nice touch. Pretzel balls - excited for pretzels and cheese, the plate arrives at the table looking more like falafel than pretzels, they taseted burnt. The cheese they come with however, SPOT ON! My fiance had the Tiny Pony burger and stated the caramelized onions were top notch. Then she proceeded to scarf the burger down and say "it was alright"..... make it make sense. Overall, we will be visiting The Tiny Pony again in the future.

Very minimal seating inside, but wide open seating outside. Really brings in the JT feels. We came for breakfast, so the weather was still really nice to sit outside. Imagine it would get hot during the day, especially during the summer. Limited breakfast menu, but I love it because you don't need a lot of items to be delicious. Their bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was fire. Perfect start to the morning. Got some breakfast cocktails to go with it. Really enjoyed their Strawberry Fields. Wasn't sure how the tequila would go with it, but it all meshed together really well. Surprisingly refreshing? But delicious. We also really enjoyed their Maritime Martini. They allow dogs outside, so our little boy lived his best life. Also have a photo booth for purchase, which was fun to use.
