I usually visit Domo on Mondays for lunch. I haven't had any issues and the food is good.

Don't spend alot of money here on DoorDash to get a credit and then try and use it your order will get cancelled for a month now.

So basically, don't order their bulgogi noodle if you're looking for actual bulgogi. The kimchi is the worst I've ever had...in life. It was watery. Spicy, but watery. Void of taste. Not tangy and spicy the way it should be. read more

The Domo Japanese Grill is is a good place to go when you are in a hurry and you want a lot of food for little money. The few times I have ate here I received my order very quickly. The food is boring and lacking in flavor. The white sauce is thin and does not add any flavor to the dish. I just kind of flows to the bottom of the styrofoam. Don't waste your money. Food was barely edible and it costs just as much as a good Japanese restaurant. Spend your money at Toki or Yosko or Kyotos and save yourself the heartache. We ordered sesame chicken hibachi steak hibachi cream cheese filled wonton and seaweed salad. The wontons were great, the filing is a green onion cream cheese filling. I ordered online and it sent me through postmates. I hadn't used it before so that was an experience in itself. I was craving hibachi and this was the closest delivery. The potstickers were great. The rest of of my food was mediocre. I ordered two of the steak hibachi plates so I could eat it for lunch the next few days, the rice is dry and flavorless. My steak was well (I'm a mess rare eater so yuck) and the vegetables were undercooked. I also ordered two cups of miso soup since it's flu season. The soup had good flavor, however, it is really heavy with onions. They offer to buy white sauce in larger size, great idea so you can have as much as you want, I bought a large for my huge order and it's watered down. I was disappointed overall. A friend recommended we try here and it was a let down. Japanese should be very fresh and light but this food is heavy and bland. There are also a lot of Korean dishes and they sell kimchi which we thought was odd. We got the bulgogi beef and the chicken hibachi and we liked the chicken better. This business isn't anything to look at on the outside or even the inside, but the employees and the food makes up for all of that. I ordered the Hibachi chicken meal. It came with Hibachi chicken, fried rice, and mixed vegetables(broccoli, zucchini, and onions). I asked for them to make the chicken spicy, but it wasn't spicy at all. I also ordered an egg roll. I got everything to go because I was in a rush today, I normally like to dine in at restaurants I patronize. The food was pretty good!! Even though the chicken wasn't spicy, it was well seasoned and very juicy. The vegetable weren't over cooked and soggy. They still had a nice crunch to them. The egg roll was pretty good as well. This was my first time at Domo's and I ordered the sweet and sour chicken entree and a side of the cream cheese wonton. The rice is awesome but everything else was so-so. The chicken they use for the sweet and sour it is not all white meat chicken and I much rather have all white meat chicken pieces. The cream cheese wonton just has too much going on...just not what I'm used to having. I will revisit but during lunch for $5.95 and I'll be trying something else. read more

Grabbed a to-go order for dinner last night and was pleased. I'm on a low carb kick, so they substituted my rice for extra veggies with no problem at all. They didn't even charge extra for this as many places like to do. The owner was very friendly and recognized me as soon as I walked it, as I used to come here a few years back fairly often. The food itself was good. I ordered the hibachi/teriyaki chicken with extra teriyaki and no rice( extra veggies only). They did not skimp on the quantity of food, which was great. They also deliver, which is very convenient as not many Japanese places here do. I would not classify it as 5 star top of the line Japanese food or anything, but for the price, convenience, quickness, and taste, it's well worth the trip. read more

I'm not a snob in any way, but this dish had zero flavor, the meat was super thin, it seems as if an egg beater egg thrown on top, the shrimp was boiled, not grilled on a hibachi or anything at all. Sorely disappointed. Save your money and take the drive up to Tokyo over by Cracker Barrel. The food was disappointing, no flavor, veggies were mushy, my steak was WAY over cooked. The only positive thing is that they deliver, and because they were so slow (should have been an indicator) that they got it to us in like 15 minutes. The spring rolls we ordered were egg rolls, not spring rolls, and didn't come with any sort of sauce. The white sauce that we did receive was so runny and watery it was gross, it's a sauce not a liquid. I won't be back, Tokyo has much better food, bigger quantities, and cheaper prices. This is was highly debatable ranking among my co workers and we suggested that 2 stars fit it perfectly. They make food and they deliver that's about the only two stars they get. Their pamphlet says 'No Frill Japanese grill'. The F in Frill stands for flavorless. Hibachi chicken = flavorless. Bulging I beef looks like microwaved flat steaks. Fried dumplings... didn't exist and when I called them they said , 'they would get me NEXT time'. Getting me next time doesn't fix my issue now. After paying $37 for two entrees and crab wontons, it was luke warm and not tasty. The rice was salty, chicken and steak was dry and chewy. The shrimp was bearable but it's hard to mess that up. This was edible food but I wouldn't call anything what they say it was. The bugolgi didn't have any of the other ingredients on the meat that bugoli would other then the sesame seed and onions it looked like pieces of beef with sesame seeds on it with white rice. the Habatchi was bland and had no flavor. I wouldn't call any of the oriental food me and my co-workers got from here the food it said it was or even oriental. Similar to Wasabi Express, while it tries to sound like a Japanese restaurant, its more of a Chinese, Korean place. How many Japanese restaurants sell kim chi? While the food isn't bad, its nothing to drive out of your way for. A limited menu (with typos like MLSO soup) with some interesting things like a kim chi taco and fire meat.
