    AAC And The Avocado Rolls
    Steve A.

Came and got pretty good sushi from this place in St. Charles. Domo Sushi is a pretty nice restaurant but it's still casual enough. It has a pretty big menu of sushi and other things. Has okay prices on most items. The most popular thing is the all you can eat, which is pretty expensive but worth it if you're hungry enough to eat a lot. Basic looking from the outside but it's the good that makes it better. It's got plenty of booths and tables inside. They're also family friendly and have a kids menu. Good prices on a lot. It's about $7 for a roll. We got a few including the AAC and the Avocado Rolls. Of course many people get the all you can eat. That's what it's best known for and it's available all times. It's about $30 so you better be hungry. Worth it if one is able to eat tons of it though. A few rolls were enough for us, so we made a good choice. The rest of the menu featured noodles and other Asian favorites. For sure it's one of the best places for sushi around here. It's closed Mondays. There's plenty for both seafood lovers and vegetarians.

Came here to try this sushi place located in St Charles, located right next to the xsport or now LA fitness on Randall road. The host/server was very nice and asked if we have ever been here. As it was our first time, the server explained everything for the all you can eat. The menu had so many options so we were super excited to get to eating. The waitress also noticed a date night, so she put us in these very cool wooden seats with an arch and flowers, very Instagramable. Order 1 , we stayed with more apps and a few rolls as well. Apps Fried scallops Gyoza Jalepeno tuna Rock n roll Volcano Order 2, went with more sushi rolls Dragon Spicy crispy Salmon Super crunch Lover Godzilla All of these rolls were delicious, honestly one of my favorite all you can eat places in the area, and a place I think of when I don't feel like driving too far. This place is has a very nice inside, and perfect for a date night, tons of options for apps, sushi, and even dessert for a fair price you see at most all you can eat spots. Will definitely be back!

A pretty good AYCE sushi restaurant in St Charles! The fish was okay! You can expect too much for an AYCE sushi place in the burbs. If you're a maki lover- this place is for you. I prefer nigiri so that explains the 3 stars. The spicy mussels didn't taste good to me. It came cold, and I believe it was topped with Huy Fong garlic chili sauce. I love sashimi salad at any sushi place! Except here, it was mainly spring mix and a small amount of fish. The staff is great here. Amazing service!

Sushi was fresh, my son and I enjoyed the ayce sushi. Definitely worth it Service was good nothing to complain. The host and server were super nice The place was neat, something to look at while you eat.

Customer service was A1. The Ayce sushi was average. Ordered agood amount for the first round and the rice to fish ratio was crazy. 80% rice and 20% fish. If you want AYCE rice, you've found the holy grail. Decor was solid

Sashimi plate with no radishes or beets only chunks of old lettuce. Quite mediocre.

I was so excited to try the new Japanese restaurant with so many positive reviews but I should have known if the place offers All You Can Eat meals, it just cannot be authentic. It reminds me another fast food place with sushi flavor. I don't even know where to start: the restaurant did not have any vegetables to serve with the sashimi selection. On my husband's All You Can Eat menu, deep fried items were predominant. If you like fast food American restaurants, you will be happy. Quantity is unlimited, quality is described above. If you are looking for a Japanese cuisine, don't waste your time. I have to say that the service and ambiance was lovely , but you don't go to the restaurant for the service only, you go there to eat.

My wife and I tried here tonight. The decor inside is amazing! The service is fast and extremely friendly. They have a full menu and drink list. Wife got a jalapeño margarita that was awesome. We went the all you can eat sushi. Extensive offering and everything is very fresh and tasty. Food comes out decently fast but very very good. Try the Oreo Tempura for dessert you will thank me! Sodas are not free refill so be aware. They do fill water quickly if you go that route. We will be back although I ate so much I hope the remain in business...

THE BEST SERVICE. All of the staff is super friendly, I had the pleasure of having Christi as my server and she's very sweet and accommodating. The sushi is outstanding. Always super fresh and every roll I've tried never disappoints. On top of all of that they have all you can eat sushi for under $40. Best sushi restaurant I've been to.

Love the decor, but it can get busy and a little noisy. Servers are nice, but at times get a little lost, as you might sit for a bit when you need something. Room for improvement. Occasionally sticky tables or wet chairs. Been twice where we needed things rewiped. Room for improvement. Food is always good and very fresh. Depending on what you order, can be a little higher priced, but still fair. Good value, Reservations are through Rezy and they have ePerks if you signup through their web store ($10 signup bonus + birthday rewards). May take a few days for email to arrive after processing. Absolutely one of our favorite places. This trip, ordered Spider and Rainbow Rolls, with my wife ordering Kung Pao Chicken Noodles. Our friends had the Mongolian Beef (one of favorites) and various other sushi rolls. Try the Pork Lo Mein which comes with shrimp or maybe a Sake flight. See you next time!

The Marine Salad, Shrimp Fried Rice and Vegetables were very good. The Yaki Udon dishes were good, but we agreed that the dish overall was a little bland, something seemed to be missing. Next time we will try something different. Overall, a very nice dining experience.

I'm told there are Teppanyaki Restos in Japan, but less theatrical than the Benihana models here in…read morethe USA. We do like a bit of cabaret with our meals, don't we? I've been a few places like this, from the familiar Benihana to a long-shuttered shithole storefront in OakPark where the Chef tried valiantly to put on a show, but fortunately he was a better Chef than a Showman. Shinto, here, is a fave of Daughter #3 and her family so we took over an entire table with our Party. A bit of Sushi pre-show, (it was edible) and then, curtains UP! The repertoire of Chefs in all these joints are quite similar, and the quality is measured by how inspired the chef is, and THAT metric is subjective to the receptiveness of the table. If all are ready to have a good time, the Circuses will match the Bread. If there's a Bruno Bummer in the crowd, it's going to be a long meal. Fortunately, our crew is of the "fun" persuasion and the Chef seemed to be, as well. The theatrics were the usual moves- tossing knives (and bits of Shrimp) in the air, and each of us got a chance to catch morsels in our mouths (mostly futile). The "onion train" thing, and occasional flambé were there, as was the balancing of the bowl of rice on a knife. The "Mustard Bottle with a string" is always good for a laugh. The Menu is pretty much the same at all of these places-Shrimp, Steak, or Chicken, Salad, Fried Rice, Veggies. All theatrically prepared in front of you. All of it top-quality and tasty. It would have been a great feed even without the stage show. If you're particular to only one type of dressing on your salad, you're out of luck unless you're into Soy Ginger, which is the onliest topper you're going to find here. Personally, I dig it, but Wife who is a Ranch aficionado took a pass. The Fried Rice was exceptional. There was nothing out of the ordinary in the ingredients, so the Chef's deft hand was responsible for the Yum. The Chef was quite fun, and he got our steaks off at the perfect desired temperatures, while keeping up the theatrics. There's an option for "French Garlic" topping for the proteins which is basically Garlic, Butter, and Breadcrumbs. This stuff would make a ceiling tile palatable. If you visit here, I highly recommend it. If you're looking for something different in the Hibachi line, this ain't it. But the show and the food were top-notch Throwing a well-deserved 5 stars.
