My only complaint about the self-service kiosk is that sometimes you can't see the additional charges on items when ordering poke. A worker brings the food to the table for dine-ins. I ordered the poke and it was good, however I think they put too much rice. Not the best poke I've had, but it does the job. The food hall itself is very clean and pretty empty even on a weekend. Spicy soy garlic wings have good flavor but are packed with a lot of fat in the wings which for me really turned me off from the whole experience. I recommend a higher quality vendor for the wings. For this reason I drop a star. Cafe is clean but lacking cohesive decoration. Bubble tea is good- I recommend the amber brown sugar one. The milk tea is good but their ramen is quite bland, and pricey, and they use soba noodles instead of the typical ramen noodles you would expect in a ramen dish. I have always ordered food for pick-up/takeout and each time I am always impressed by how fast and efficient Domoishi is with preparing my order to perfection. Their customer service is excellent, too! The food is delicious and they prepare it so nicely. I enjoy ordering their rice platters with one of their sides, plus boba, which is really good! Also, I like how much detail they put into packaging your order -- their containers are sealed with a sleeve with their branding and placed neatly into a reusable tote bag complete with utensils. I know this seems small, but it's all in the details and presentation. Plus, who doesn't love a reusable tote bag? I'd take that over an over abundance of plastic bags that can be wasteful. I think at times this place is overlooked because of The Spot food hall that is located on the opposite side of Rockville Town Center, which is a shame because this store deserves a lot more customers based on their excellent customer service and great food. At first I was a little put off by the price, but after getting takeout today (lamb + peppered beef) I am definitely planning on going back. This review is just for a few Xian dishes, as a Xianese, beef soup水盆羊肉 and cold noodles are both authentic and delicious to me, I didn't expect to see beef soup in US, I was so surprised and it turned out so good, my partner is not from my region and he was also amazed and kept drinking the soup! Cold noodles are better than any other Xian foods in US I have had. But I didn't get Meat Bun this time because they need to get the bread imported from Xian which delayed for a long time. Even my father was laughing at the jokes and found the service charming. Now about the wings. These wings... Food doesn't always have that punch-to-the-tongue deliciousness when I'm almost full. That's what made the first bite of the fried wings so surprising. They were the best wings I've ever had. Perfectly fried, the flavor strong but not overpowering. I could taste the spice, but I was also able to slow down and enjoy each bite. I didn't feel like I had to rush through them. Our party came back later that day and purchased 48. We shared with a lot of people, and not a single person could say that they weren't the best wings they'd ever had. I'd never had Korean fried wings before, so I thought "Maybe its just the style I like." Wrong. In the past week I tried a few other places. A little confused about this place but it seems like it houses multiple restaurants/menus so this review is specific to the Xian Chinese Cuisine. For takeout, we ordered the the Cumin Lamb Crispy Meat Bun (7.95), Shanxi Style Cold Noodle (5.95) and the Braised Beef side dish (8.95). Everything was was pretty authentic in taste and wasn't too expensive. I really liked the Shanxi Style Cold Noodle and appreciated the packaged chili oil, sesame paste and (I think) black vinegar that was on the side. You can definitely make it as spicy/seasoned as you would like and I think it was a good amount of heat when I put all the chili oil in. The noodles were perfectly chewy! A great dish for the warmer weather ahead. I also really enjoyed the braised beef side dish. Pretty big helping of meat that comes in the container! You can share this side dish with 2-4 people easily or even have it as a main entrée with rice. The meat was very tender and had great flavors. Didn't need additional seasoning or anything. Anyone that knows me, knows that I love AUTHENTIC Asian Food!!! I am about to tell a story... please forgive me... on my way to find another Asian spot, I stopped into this restaurants that said it sold authentic Japanese, Korean, and chinese food . I didn't believe it so on Tuesday, I first ordered Korean fried wings and chinese cumin spicy chicken buns!!!! When I tell you I got a taste of both cultures that sent me to food heaven; that's an understatement... Then, on Wednesday, I went back and got cumin lamb & braised beef rice dish with a cold dish. Then today I got an Hawaiian Poke bowl ( with a Japanese flare) since most Hawaiian food is influenced by Japan. Anyways the poke bowl was nice Brain food!!! And Peach oolong tea with spicy duck wings; which I didn't like per say not because of taste because it was great. It the packaging kind of threw me off. It was in a preservative non-microwaveable package in which I had to cut out the duct from the package then put on stove !!
