The food here was definitely delish! We had passed by and I mentioned to my daughter that it smelled so good. So we stopped in and ordered. I must admit everything we ordered was really good! The server behind the counter was helpful since it was our first time and we had to order on their POS style computer. If ever I'm MD again will definitely stop in again!

Ordered take out here for the first time and I was totally impressed. The quality and size of the fish is perfect and totally worth it around here. I usually go down to Virginia for better poke. Most poke places near here skimp so hard on the fish but I'm glad I tried this location out. Their toppings and sauces are all great. I even tried the takoyaki here and it was decent. Definitely will come back here when I'm craving poke again.

Came back for more and tried a drink and a few more dishes. The service was contactless. We ordered on a pad, the service was efficient, more Carry-Out orders than dine in customers. All the dishes we ordered were pretty authentic and delicious. 5*Amber Boba: very rich and tasty; we ordered it with no ice, less sugar, cheese cream and no boba. It still tasted pretty sweet even with less sugar. Definitely recommend this drink. 4*Lamb Vermicelli 水盆羊肉: 4 big chunk of lamb, lots of vermicelli, we also added some chili sauce to the soup and it tasted even better. The soup was perfect for winter. 4*Steamed bun叉烧猪肉包: authentic, soft, tender pork and delicious pork buns.

Domoishi is a smaller food hall than The Spot and Pike Kitchen in the Rockville area. I only ordered the ramen and black milk tea. The milk tea is good but their ramen is quite bland, and pricey, and they use soba noodles instead of the typical ramen noodles you would expect in a ramen dish. I will stop by again for the milk tea but would definitely pass on the ramen.

We arrived and fumbled through the order in a swift 5 minutes. We ordered the Cold Dish (Dried Bean Curd Stick, tofu skin, wood ear, and Japanese cucumber), the stewed pork crispy mean bun, the cumin lamb crispy meat bun, and 6 Korean style wings (half soy garlic, half spicy soy garlic). The buns were perfectly crunchy and flavorful, the wings were a bit lacking but sufficient, and the cold dish was nice as well. The only complaint that I have is the cleanliness of the dining room area and bathroom. The dining room floor has been sticky both times that I have been here and the trash cans are a mess, overflowing with trash.

Discovered this quiet place on a rainy Wednesday evening...it serves dishes with the other yummy food stands in the same location (you can conveniently order anything from all the places on the iPad at the counter...just ask the friendly workers with any questions...I certainly did as I was a bit clueless!) We ordered the steamed BBQ pork buns, a crispy braised beef bun, a crispy pork bun, the Shanxi style cold noodles, shumai, and ramen. I recommend the steamed and crispy pork buns and the cold noodles (the noodles definitely taste better cold, and would especially be nice on a hot day...I made the mistake of heating them up the next day and would not recommend doing that!) The ramen and shumai were only so-so IMO...I would like to try the rice platters at my next visit... This is an especially great place for yummy appetizers and a quick snack...

This review is for the poke stand inside this food hall. I've gotten the salmon poke here twice. It's pretty good -- the fish tasted pretty fresh and they give you a good amount (I usually get the two scoops or two proteins). They also don't skimp out on the toppings which is nice because it's a good ratio to the rice. I want to try out the crispy meat bun next time but it always says they're out of it.

Service is ok but food is very subpar. Bulgogi beef buns were way too salty. And sesame noodles too bland. Not a good value for money either. Overall it's an ok quick bite if you don't expect much of a flavor.

The service was great. You walk in and put in your order on the computer and the immediately start your order. It was quick and I didn't have to wait long. I got a poke bowl and honestly I feel like it is too much rice for me because I couldn't finish it. I know a lot of people won't say that's a bad thing but it's just my preference. The rose yogurt tea was amazing !! So so good and I will definitely be coming back to that. The place was clean and I don't know if a lot of people know about it because it is in the corner and no one was really in there.

Ordered 3 poke bowl with tuna & salmon, takoyaki and beef gyoza. So many tuna and salmon honestly the ratio of rice and toppings are really unbalanced for all the right reason! Taste really fresh, one of the best poke we've had!! Fast service, we ordered at 8.45 pm delivered at 9.20. Definitely will come back for more. We also got free Jasmine tea!

Dude... there is like three pokestops here. If that's your thing. I know that's my thing. The takoyaki is really good. Their chicken isn't that big but it's pretty flavorful. The spicy though is a bit weak and I dunno if you can really call it spicy. It reminds me of what Bonchon when Bonchon was good... their French fries are really good too... reminds me of Burger King fries. will come back to try the ramen.

This review is just for a few Xian dishes, as a Xianese, beef soup水盆羊肉 and cold noodles are both authentic and delicious to me, I didn't expect to see beef soup in US, I was so surprised and it turned out so good, my partner is not from my region and he was also amazed and kept drinking the soup! Cold noodles are better than any other Xian foods in US I have had. But I didn't get Meat Bun this time because they need to get the bread imported from Xian which delayed for a long time. Hope next time I come to DC they will have it!

I got the Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen and a sweet potato (sushi) roll. Child #1 got a vegetable roll and the vegetarian ramen (the only vegetarian option I think I saw for ramen). Overall not bad. Decent balance of ingredients in my ramen. I tried Child #1's soup and it was fine, though I will say whatever the mushrooms were (woodear, I think), they were fantastic, with a nice marinade and prepared so well. The rolls were fine. My sweet potato was clearly fresh-fried, so it was warm inside the rice, which was a bit surprising. On one hand, a bit crispier. On the other, hot sushi. Our waiter was attentive and the food came out relatively quickly. Prices were fair.

Although I've tried many Asian restaurants near me, I don't always frequent ramen centric restaurants. Glad I tried it because I really enjoyed it. I had the Chef's Special, with the chicken. After waiting a while, our waitress finally came over and took our order. We ordered an appetizer first while deciding on our entrees. A few minutes later, the exact same waitress returned and asked if we wanted to order any appetizers, apparently forgetting that we had already done so. I specifically asked whether the salmon in the Philly roll was fresh or smoked because I don't like smoked salmon. I was assured it was fresh. When it arrived, it was clearly smoked salmon. The bao buns were actually pretty good, although the lettuce was wilted and looked like it had been sitting around for a while. A different server eventually took our entrée order. Less than five minutes later, that same server came back and asked if we were ready to close out our check, despite the fact that we were still waiting for our food and had not received our entrees yet. When the food finally arrived, the ramen was disappointing. The noodles were undercooked and the broth was excessively salty. The katsu curry was the highlight of the meal and was genuinely delicious. Unfortunately, the miso soup that accompanied it was overloaded with dashi powder and tasted overwhelmingly fishy. Which made sense with the overpowering fish market smell upon entering the restaurant. To top it all off, when we were ready to leave, the server brought the credit card receipt for signature but forgot to bring a pen. Between the repeated service mistakes, incorrect menu information, lack of attention to the table, and inconsistent food quality, I'm genuinely surprised this restaurant has managed to stay in business. There are too many good ramen spots out there to justify returning here.

There's a limit on nigiri/sashimi to one piece per order. What that means is that, when you put in your first (and subsequent orders), you can order one tuna, one salmon, etc nigiri/sashimi. That is a lot better than what I originally thought, which was one nigiri/sashimi total for each round. The variety in the AYCE is impressive. Lots of sushi, sashimi, nigiri, salads, soups, variety of appetizers (not all fried stuff!) and hibachi (beef, chicken and shrimp). Tonight, the food arrived pretty quickly after we put in an order. There was an issue toward the end of the evening when the app stopped working at our table and the table next to ours. The Staff did what they could to fix things; it did take about 20 minutes, though. I'm assuming this isn't typical. Staff did say that this does happen from time to time and the customer needs to exit the app and reorder. Except for the 20 minute delay, things worked fine. We placed at least 12 small orders during our meal. The staff was very good about filling water glasses, bringing our food and taking away empty plates. Really - high praise for the staff. The restaurant is very pleasant to sit in. It has Asian motif and nice music playing over the PA. The only issue was with the ordering system, which, as I said, I'm thinking was unusual.
