Fish tacos and potato rolled tacos
Samantha F.

Hands down my favorite fish taco! Any time I am around the area I make a stop here. Very fresh and constantly amazing. Never a long wait and I love the outdoor patio view. Will always recommend them to anyone that I can. We usually get the potato rolled tacos as well. They are delicious.

Came here recently again and I was disappointed that the quality of the carne asada changed. It was very chewy and not well seasoned. Customer service was not the same as previous times.

California Burrito

I only get one thing here and one thing only: California burrito It's big, it smacks, and it is always dependable. Big fan of the salsa bar, the salsa verde is superior. Food always comes out fairly fast depending on the time of day you go. Expect a line if you go during lunch or dinner but it goes by fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have the cutest back patio where you can view the ocean (kind of).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love walking here with my friends, a bird rock staple.

Street tacos

Tried a few street tacos. Carnitas and also fried fish. Fish was better. Carnitas were a bit dry. Tortillas (corn) were good. Thick enough that you only needed one per taco. Best thing was the price. Street tacos were $3 each. My girlfriend got a two taco platter. $8 for two. Both reasonably priced. Her grilled Mahi Mahi were better than either of mine.

Shrimp taco, salmon taco and regular fish taco.

How can they only have 3.5 stars? This place is so good!! It's been really good the last 20 years! I don't even know how long they've been around but we used to go to lunch here when I used work nearby. Today my boyfriend got three tacos. A shrimp taco, salmon taco and regular fish taco. All were delicious, but I think today the shrimp stood out as the most flavorful.

If you're looking for real Baja style fish tacos in La Jolla be sure to stop here. We were in search of a mom and pop taco spot and Don Bravo came through. Prices were great and the tacos were huge! The rice was very authentic, reminded me of my Grandmas. Don Bravo has their own parking lot and an amazing ocean view just a block down the street. They serve beer, margaritas and an array of other dishes, hard shell tacos, soft tacos, enchiladas and more. We will definitely be back to enjoy their other items.

The tacos here are the best fish tacos we had in San Diego hands down. Visited multiple times. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Right next to the beach the outdoor patio is awesome for watching the water and enjoying tacos[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Highly recommended!! Enjoying the view and breakfast burrito. Service here is top-notch.

Still the best in San Diego. We eat there once a week. Burritos: fantastic. Pay a little more. Get a lot more. Tastiest: Shrimp burrito!

If you want to wait a half hour for a mediocre burrito. Come here. Slow and a pathetic staff looking at their phones all day

Does anyone know if the truck outside is open on Sundays? I've been craving their birria and I'm only out here for 1 more day!

Unfortunately it’s closed on Sunday.. it’s open Monday-Saturday 10-5pm. We hope we can serve you next time. We make Birria everyday fresh!

Signed up for their 'birthday special' with my email. Received a $15 coupon (off $40 or more). Went back with my mom (literally the ONLY PEOPLE in the entire restaurant - had to call out to the back to get someone to seat us). Food was good (paid for our chips and salsa), scallops were delicious!!! Presented my $15 coupon, saw that our bill was WAY MORE than expected, but didn't want to upse my mom, so paid and left. Our Diet Pepsi's were $15/EACH! Was this bc of the coupon. I know I should have questioned it then, but a furious that I should have had to question at all. Food is good. Setting was exceptional. The Pacific Beach area is usually busy, and we were lucky that we didn't have to wait and service was excellent. They even have their own parking lot around back so that makes it less stressful to have a meal at their establishment. I also made a reservation in advance for eight people but it really wasn't necessary when we went. I think it's very different during dinner service so I still highly recommend making a reservation. They brought out chips and salsa immediately as well as water. My husband and I got there a little bit early ahead of our party so we ordered a couple of drinks while everyone else arrived. They have a huge selection of menu items for both brunch and dinner. We had the ceviche, chicharrones and guacamole. I also ordered the Yucatán salad and my husband got the seafood enchiladas. Both were excellent and highly recommend. The ambience and decor are so cute as well. They have a couple Bougainvillea trees by the entrance and beautiful, colorful murals on their building. So definitely a cute place to take pictures. Very much worth the trip if you are looking for something to eat in the area.

It has that perfect neighborhood feel where you can go for dinner, drinks, music, and always run into good people. And the service is a huge part of what makes it so special. Jerry has honestly been one of my favorite servers for years. He's been at Beaumont's for over 10 years, and he's always one of those familiar smiling faces you're happy to see when you walk in. He's friendly, attentive, hardworking, and just genuinely great with people. Mike is also amazing and always makes the bar experience fun. His knowledge of tequila is seriously impressive, and you can tell he really enjoys sharing recommendations and helping people find something they'll love. Whether you know tequila well or are trying something new, he always makes it approachable and enjoyable. The whole team at Beaumont's is wonderful, but Jerry and Mike are definitely highlights.
