My husband and I frequent this spot at least once a week. It's quickly become our new Mexican eatery. I LOVE the chili verde plate(pork) with a huge fresh flower tortilla and rice/ beans. The green chili has a great spicy kick that I keep coming back for. The Salsas are spicy and flavorful. My husband is obsessed with their ground beef taco plate. We always top our meal off with a cold glass bottle coke. Service is always fast and friendly. the Food is always hot. Tables and floors are clean! I went there for lunch today. It happens to be Tuesday so I got the amazing "Taco Tuesday" special! Three perfect tacos for a bargain price of $5.99. It was pretty quiet when I went in on a weekday morning, but perhaps I was just eating lunch absurdly early. I got a chile rellano and it was one of the best I've ever had. Hot sauces were excellent. This is the place to go for great tacos at a really good price. Had the rolled tacos as well as the carnitas tacos. Rolled tacos were great, covered in guacamole and fresh. The carnitas were some of the best I've had and the corn tortillas they were wrapped in were a treat themselves. All in all this is one of the best in San Diego. read more

Been going to Los 2 Pedro's for over 16 years at the Turquoise St. location and was super bummed when they had to relocate. On the bright side, this new location still has the same great food, prices and customer service!! The only place in San Diego I will get Mexican food and I even drive down from Temecula for this deliciousness. The California burrito (carne asada, potatoes, egg & cheese - $11.50) and Carne Asada Fries burrito (carne asada, fries, cheese, guacamole, sour cream $11.99) are hands down the best burritos. I also really enjoy the carnitas tacos ($4.75 each) and get them every time I make a stop here. Both green and red sauces are available and made fresh in house. The green is the BOMB! read more

Gonna give Dos Pedros 4 Stars. The original Dos Pedros is a few minutes away over on Turquoise. This newer location is just as good. A few blocks in from the beach so naturally your food will come out a bit quicker than at other spots in the area. Not the best, not the worst. read more

The new location is a bit nicer than the old spot. It comes with the same friendly service and food made with love. They have specials on at least Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. I can vouch that the Tuesday special is authentic taqueria style tacos and aim to please. This time I got the flautas which are chicken filled flour tortilla versions of rolled tacos (taquitos). There was enough guacamole that I did not need to ration it and even had some left over at the end. The hubs got the taco combo which had crispy tacos with beans and rice. He said the chicken one was better, but the beef one had quality shredded beef. The only downside I see is that the city added parking meters on cass and garnet. read more

This Mexican joint quietly opened towards the end of last month as an offshoot of the original shop in North PB. Los Dos Pedros #2 is the latest tenant in a corner suite of the Dunaway building. They kept the bright yellow paint from the previous business and didn't change much else besides the signage. There is a pay parking lot next door if you cannot locate a curbside space on Cass St. Two menu screens hung above the service counter while several tables were available if you wanted to dine in. Lengua was offered as a protein which is not frequently found this far north of the border. Chopped up braised cow tongue is pretty standard if you are slinging tacos in Tijuana. That aside, my choice was a mundane combination of a beef burrito and cheese enchilada. Mexican rice and refried beans were included in the combo. The burrito was wrapped separately with wax paper, and the rest of the food was placed in a styrofoam container. Three types of hot sauce were provided, however after sampling a dab of each one, I declined and ate the items as they were prepared. Shredded beef was used for the burrito instead of ground beef which I thought was a nice upgrade. Lettuce and sauce covered the enchilada. It's hard to mess up a cheesy product like that so I didn't have any comments. For the quality, quantity, and value of the food I tried, I rated this new branch of Los Dos Pedros between three and four stars. read more

Congratulations on your new location Los 2 Pedros! I had the Chicken Flautas topped with guacamole amd and cheese for $5. The order came in a group of three with shredded white Chicken inside. As you know, flautas are rolled tacos made with flour tortillas instead of corn. These were delicious, and I appreciate it for fact that they came topped with guacamole not with sour cream. The flautas were very cridpy. The meat inside was tender and they came with a very good amount. The guacamole was tasty and so were all three hot sauces that I tried. Service at the counter was super friendly and welcoming. They offer a good amount of inside Seating and some outside seating. read more

We were walking by and stopped in by chance. Our first attempt at breakfast at a place down the street was a fail so we saw the reviews here. First of all, the guy at the register was SUPER friendly. I love that. I ordered the rolled tacos and my wife got the breakfast burrito. The rolled tacos were perfect. The tortilla was super crispy, meat delicious, and generous cheese and guacamole. My wife's burrito had this thick cut bacon in it and it rocked. Their two homemade salsas were delicious!! I preferred the green and my wife preferred the red as it was less spicy. The employees were attentive and super friendly and the place was immaculately clean. I don't make it to PB much anymore but I definitely want to explore more of the menu. Thank you!!! read more

Stopped in on Tuesday night after cruising around PB running some errands. Had their Taco Tuesday deal and went with adobada street tacos. These were absolutely delicious and the cebolla and guacamole on them were outstanding. I also got some rolled tacos with queso and guacamole and was super impressed with the quality.
