Holy cow! Or holy chicken. Tried this new Korean fried chicken place for the first time. We ordered a half chicken oven baked and fried. That must mean they bake/oven roast it first, the fry it. Got the original (no sauce). It was fabulous. Better than Bonchon which is the nearest Korean fried chicken place to us. If I may say better than crack shack which has huge chicken pieces and so that once you get past the skin, it's bland chicken meat. As good as I have had in the US or Korea. I told the Mrs. we need to come back once a week. Please give them lots of business so they stay open forever. It's not cheap but then what is nowadays. Small storefront in a strip mall that delivers big chicken flavor and value. I was very excited to try this newly opened franchise and it did not disappoint. My son and I had the chicken sandwich combo with fries and a drink. The chicken was juicy, a large piece and perfectly fried. The Don Sauce on the sandwich was excellent and paired well with the creamy coleslaw, of which we also had a side. The crinkle cut fries were spot on, and my favorite type of fry as well, so that was a pleasant surprise. There are several types of sauces to try on various cuts of chicken and they all smelled and looked great at the table next to us. Looking forward to returning and trying to other menu items. I would like to see a combo meal option on the menu, but getting pieces and sides works well.
