Great food!! Came here for lunch and have a big selections. Ordered their Colombian combo and everything came out perfect. Nothing was overcooked or too dry. Try their ceviche and empanadas platter. Comes with a variety from different countries.

As a Peruvian, I can say their anticuchos are some of the tastiest ones I have had all my life. I have yet to try them in person with full memory, but I have ordered take out twice and both orders have included Anticuchos. The Lomo Saltado is also great and even their yuccas are nice and crispy. The staff are friendly and give details and more information regarding their menus! I would def recommend this place if youre looking for some good Peruvian food!

Good place for South American cuisine. Wide array of dishes for all levels of palettes and adventurousness. Great for those who love South American food, and those who are looking for an introduction to such. Quality of ingredients is decent, and quality of execution varies from passable to slightly above good. The friendliness of the staff, giant windows, and music & music videos playing in the background nonstop make for a great ambiance.

In Chantilly for lunch with the wife, and stumbled on Don Churro. Spanish bands performing on Tv , 3 families enjoying lunch. We were seated immediately. Wife ordered what I think was Cilantro and chicken soup, with a beef empanada, I ordered Lomo saltado. Our waitress was pleasant but only spoke Spanish. The food was good, but not as good as Bakery Bread and Grill in Fairfax.

When I stepped into Don Churro for the first time post covid, I didn't recognize the place. Looks like they changed ownership at some point and revamped everything from the interior to the menu. My lomo dish was muy delicioso . The saltiness of the lomo sauce was just the right amount combined with the creaminess of the fettuccine huancaina. The steak pieces were tender and juicy and cooked just right. I docked a star for the slowness of the service. There is one waitress tending to 2 tables. Each time I've gone, there has only been about 2 or 3 tables seated. But it takes so long to take our order or get the bill. I know it's one person doing all the work but I don't think she is prioritizing who asked for what first. That's my only complaint.

To be honest, I don't eat Peruvian food much but when I do, I often crave Lomo Saltado. I thought this place did a great job with this dish, not too salty and beef was decently tender. Service was just okay, they didn't check on us that much and just let us do our own thing. Doesn't bother me tho. It's a spacious restaurant and a low key vibe. The one thing that turned me off was a potent perfume smell when we walked in. I almost left because I'm pretty sensitive to the scent, but decided to stay and glad I did. The Lomo saltado brought me back to life lol

Service = Excellent Our entrees (Civiche Mixto del Mercado and Chupe de Camarones) were delicious. This was our first time visiting Don Churro and I will definitely comeback and bring my children to enjoy our great experience I would recommend Don Churro Restaurant to anyone. 5 Stars are well deserved Thank you

I am surprised by the low rating. I actually enjoy Don Churro. I came here for the first time a few months ago. Now it is one of my regular spots. The menu is pretty extensive. They serve cuisines from different South American countries. But I think they specialized mostly in Peruvian food. My first time here, I ordered the Aji de Gallina. It is chicken in a creamy bright yellow pepper sauce served on white rice. I never had it before and I thought it was great. I absolutely love the chicken soup with potatoes and vegetables. It is a flavorful and hearty dish. I also enjoy the pollo milanesa. I don't think Pollo Milanesa is offered on their regular menu. I believe it was part of a lunch special. Anyways I hope they include it on their menu. Yeah, I like them. Btw, try the Pisco Sour. It's yummy. 4 stars.

The servers are very nice but they speak spanish (i dont speak spanish) but the menu is in english. The empanadas appetizer was amazing! Chile, bolivia, different country flavors, so good! Ceviche was delicious. A little hot in the restaurant but overall nice. Decoration is very authentic.

It's located at the far end of the shopping center. Over the years, we've noticed several places come and go at that exact location. Some of them were good spots and it was a shame to see them go. So...basically, it's one of those so-called "cursed locations." We were here around 4 p.m. on a Sunday. When we entered, a friendly woman greeted us and told us to sit wherever we wanted. At that time of day, there was one occupied table with a party of six. Two men were sitting at the bar with some distance between them. Looking at the menu, we noticed that the selection wasn't that great. The place also offers some Indian entrees. Some Yelpers thought the place was Mexican-Indian fusion, but it's not. It's two separate cuisines. We were given some chips and salsa. The chips came in different colors, red and green. The salsa was watery. I decided to have "chicken adobo" only to be told by the woman who greeted us that they were out of the chicken they used to make the dish. So...I ordered beef fajitas. They come with tortillas, rice, refried beans, a minuscule amount of cheese, and a few veggies. The fajitas weren't that good. The meat was tough (I know, no one expects expensive fajitas), and some pieces were scorched. To drink, I was pleased to see they had some mocktails. I chose a "ginger mojito" mocktail. It was a refreshing drink. My husband ordered "enchiladas suiza," which came with rice and refried beans. Apparently, they have live music later in the evenings. They have a stage and an area that can be used as a dance floor. Overall, we weren't impressed. The food is passable. The best part of the meal was the woman who took good care of us. So...2 1/2 stars.

Especially at their prices & the hoity toity atmosphere, you'd think they'd also be well-run and reasonably accommodating, eh? Nope. Worth the drive? Not any more. Worth the wait? Definitely not anymore! For as many times as we've frequented Pisco in Reston with a small group, one would think they'd get their seating straightened out. Every time we've attempted to eat here on a reservation, they've had issues. Never set up and ready to seat us. Never prepared upon opening... and it's never busy when they first open which is why we always go early. But, they are NEVER ready to seat us. What's the use of making a reservation a week in advance if you're not going to be ready to seat the party nor accommodate the request? How would you like to find out at the last minute that they're going to split up your party at two different tables on two different sides of the restaurant because they weren't prepared when you gave them a week's notice via reservation? The food isn't that good to have to keep going through the challenge of being seated every time we make a reservation for a group. They're really pricey, too. So, certainly not worth this chronic headache. There are PLENTY of other places in the Town Center or in Herndon/Reston in general where you can get a tasty meal, not drop a day's pay, and have your entire party served well together. The taco joint across the street is definitely a more pleasant experience, for example, and I would certainly recommend bartaco...give them a try instead for a fun environment and some good eats.
