    Nachos

The customer service was great and the wait wasn't long at all. Everything came out hot and fresh. Those shrimp nachos alone was a 10/10. I wanted to get some more but I'll wait until next time. The regular nachos were good The snoballs were really good, could have added a few more nacho chips so we didn't have to throw away the cheese and chili. The snoballs were just right not too sweet and there was a gummy bear hidden in it. I thought it was an accident but everyone had one. It's a cute surprise.

    Snoball Saturday!

First time going to Stop Jockin on St. Bernard Avenue. As we walked up there was a line well of course like most Sno-Ball stands in the summer in New Orleans. Only 1 window was open on a busy Saturday afternoon - would open a few more when it gets busy. They not only serve snowballs but they also sell food (hot dogs, nachos, snacks etc) so orders took a little longer than anticipated. The prices are great $3 for smalls, love it. We ordered ice cream, pineapple, strawberry and nectar. They have a good variety of flavors and toppings and a little added surprise on top - gummy bears. Love supporting local neighborhood businesses.

I must submit, I believe I have a new favorite snowball stand in the Gentilly area. STOP JOCKIN!!! I do love the name... it's a little old school, but catchy. I pass this snowball stand all the time hopping onto the 610 interstate and when I wanted to stop in they were closed. But I see now, they have more consistent hours now. The food is good. Great price. Great taste. Snowballs are extraordinary. Great price. Excellent taste. The ice is so soft in your mouth. It just literally melts in your mouth. I saw a lady coming by for snowballs no syrup, that ice only... Proof positive that people like the ice here. The flavors are off the chain. I never had a dry snowball from here, sounds like an oxymoron, but it happens. They've always been succulent, moist, juicy and very flavorful. I've also had the pleasant opportunity to purchase food from this establishment. The food is processed really quickly, and as I stated previously, the taste is good. And I while I've not had everything on the menu, the things that I have had have all been tasty and fair in pricing. The cups are thick styrofoam, I never had to worry about puncturing the bottom of the snowball, nor did I have to worry about the sides being so flimsy that they broke once I grabbed these cups. I've been here more than a few times and I must admit the lines will form quickly, however the staff are quick with reducing the line and processing orders. I am unsure if this location stays open year-round, but as it stands now I plan to visit them daily until I find out otherwise.

The shaved ice is much more than I expected nothing like Houston snowballs.I got the delicious honey dew melon and watermelon. The place was perfect we rode bike to the shack and enjoyed the scenery around us we got to see the real New Orleans vibe. You order at a window and there's a few eating spots out front.

Truly one of the best, if not the best, snow ball I've ever had. The ice is blended perfectly, it's as if it's actual snow. The flavor syrup was perfect! I got strawberry cheesecake and it literally changed my life! From the moment I got out of my car until I left with my snowball (and cheese fries) I had the biggest smile on my face. The owners /employees I talked to were also so nice and patient! There was a line but it was so worth the wait. Editors note: the line moved quickly. I love loved loved it. I can't wait to go back on Thursday for another snowball and their famous crawfish Nachos!

This was the truth! The crawfish nachos were so good! Usually I do cantaloupe when I go to sno ball stands but I saw the honeydew melon and it was all love! I loved it and will be back for the shrimp nachos, shrimp fries, and crawfish fries! So delicious!

Softest ice in the city! A nice local spot. @stopjockinsnoballs is definitely slept on. They don't hold back on the syrup, so if that's not your thing, make sure you ask for it light lol. They also have delicious gummy bear surprises as options. Check it out if you haven't!!!

Cool little spot to get a snoball and some snacks. There are 2 windows to order, and depending on what you order they'll hand it to you right there or you'll have to wait. I ordered shrimp fries so I had to wait a couple of minutes for them but most customers were getting a snoball and crawfish nachos, it came out fast and they were gone! Snoball came out quick too, normally you gotta wait on them too. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I mean, I'm used to the hood snoball shops playing no games with the juice but my snoball coulda used more juice but that's it! It was refreshing on a hot day and while I waited for the fries which came out hot and fresh! They also take debit cards! *Oh yea! It was like 2 little gummy bears in my snoball too

The last of my watermelon snowball! Mmmm

So we were coming back to Nola from a long day at the historical plantations outside the city and someone mentioned how we should try a famous New Orleans snowball. I quickly went to yelp to try to find a local place that had parking and good reviews. We ended up at stop jockin. What a great name! Lol! I got a watermelon snowball and it was awesome!!! He just kept pouring and pouring the syrup over the freshly crushed ice. A few minutes later my entire mouth was red with the evidence of how good the moment was!

Really good nacho can't believe I paid $ for chili it's not even a teaspoon worth but I will come back here again and again

This is by far the best snowcone I have ever ever had the flavor was phenomenal texture of the ice was absolutely perfect cute little hole in the wall mom and pop walk up Joint nice decorations the woman who took my order was very nice. The only complaint I have is they charge a dollar extra on the nachos for chili and I'll show you how much chili I got it's probably worth a nickel...if that I will come here again and just as they give me a reasonable amount of chilly even $.25 worth would've been nice I would give it five stars except for the scampi chili the cheese portion was very generous though

Stopped here while waiting for my food at Pra_LEES. Lots of flavors to choose from. There are even a good amount of food options available. Ice was smooth and the syrup wasn't too sweet like it can be at some places. It even came with a little gummy bear which was a lovely treat.

Pink lemonade and honey dew snowball with ice cream on top!

I stopped by pandora's snowballs on a saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy. Despite the long line, we actually were served pretty quickly. And our snowball was made pretty fast as well. The food was pretty good! It was very sugary, but that's kinda what you come for :) the ice was really good & the cream was also yummy. It was a nice balance. I also thought the flavors of ice were nice and potent. We got a stuffed snowball with vanilla cream & half mango + half strawberry cheesecake. We also got the sour spray on the mango half. I'd recommend getting some more toppings, it would definitely make it more delicious I was a little disappointed that there was no seating or tables to eat at. Had to eat and walk at the same time.. or if there were tables we couldn't find them. But overall a good experience
