The staff at Don Dany is incredible! We had dinner mid-week, when there was one waiter working. He let us know he was the only one there, and we were in no rush. There is an outdoor and indoor seating, as well as TVs and a pool table. Fun atmosphere! The food is good...always reliable and we have liked everything we have tried aside from the frozen margarita. Next time we will stick with beer or margs on the rocks. Def will be back! read more

Ok service, not bad, but we didn't experience Antonia or Marcos like others have mentioned in their reviews. My Michelada was GREAT! The skinny margaritas were just okay. I had the COMBO 2 with the chicken tostada and stuffed crispy poblano. The chicken on the tostada was bland and lacked flavor, but the poblano was cooked to perfection. My niece had the smothered burrito and said it was delicious. My husband had the fajitas and really enjoyed them. The ambiance is that of a Mexican spot with proper Spanish music and a locals restaurant kind of vibe. If you're in the area, this is a decent Mexican meal. read more

Visited this place recently. 5 pm and 1 person was in the dining room. That was foreshadowing. The food, enchiladas, was served quickly after ordered. Way too fast for any actual cooking to happen. The meal was cold. No real taste to any of the parts. No cheese in the enchilada or on top to speak of. Beans and rice were bland. Took 3 bites and gave it back. No go joe... "famous" 5 street tacos (see photo) for $20 was not a good value. "5 tacos" was really more like 3 worth of meat... not worth $4 each. These were $2 to $2.50 tacos (the ones with the most meat). 3 Taquitos w/ rice and beans for $20... horrible. Massively Overcooked taquitos (deep fried to death) so all you could tasted was oily fried tortilla. My 9 year old who loves taquitos would not eat them after 2 bites. read more

The servings are absolutely enormous. The cost is great for the location. The food was fresh, quality and really hit the spot. The server and bartender were both friendly and helpful. Great Mexican food! We had a large group and ordered basically everything on the menu! I had the carnitas which were served on the bone; presentation was awesome and they tasted amazing! Last night we ate at Don Dany Mexican Grill for the first time. It was quick and easy to get a table. They have a lot of seating options for different sized groups. Staff was very friendly. Chips and salsa were complimentary and always full. I ordered the house margarita which was delicious. We ordered the Molcajete to share and it was large feeding 2-4 people. They have a large menu with something for everyone. They remodeled and its very light and bright on the inside. Definitely excited to have a new restaurant in town and we plan to go again soon. read more

Service was great, staff were very friendly. The food was not very memorable and overpriced. They only have tacos on weekends. We came in because we had coupons for bogo small margaritas. This ended up not even being a real deal. The small margaritas cost the same as the big ones, so you're basically just paying for a big margarita, the coupon deal is nonexistent. Popped in here tonight after a long day of snowboarding and had an excellent experience. The service was great and everyone in our party of eight enjoyed their food. Highly recommend anything with green chili, especially the chimichanga and enchiladas. Horchatas for the kids per our server's recommendation were also a hit. The kitchen must have been under staffed at our 2nd visit because it took forever to get the food and we all received our food separately. The printed advertisement and on-line information seemed to indicate that this was a special, authentic Mexican Restaurant, but we, a couple of weeks ago, found that not only was it nothing special, but was the average Mexican fare that can be found most anywhere in the USA. This only difference was the food was below average to poor in taste and presentation. Service was OK. Restaurant presented OK ambiance, again, nothing special. And it was not inexpensive. Honestly I've owned a place up here for years !! Azteca is 100 X better! This is subpar food at best ( being nice) . We came in and one waiter for the whole place! He told us the bartender was the best In town but also said we don't have a drink menu! Huh? They forgot our drink order twice. A small 12 oz marg was 18 dollars. Tastes like water down cheep tequila. We asked about the cost and they said that's what I was told to charge. The food was brought out one plate at a time and rice and beans were ice cold. One would think you can't screw up a quesadilla but yes they did that too! Chili Rellenos had nasty tasting brown chicken on it. Also the margs were brought out after the food when we were done eating. I never write reviews but felt I had too for the sake of visitors. Please for the sake of mankind don't go!! read more

This restaurant is rather new, and they have not had their liquor license for very long. Hence they were not very busy. I expect this will change.
