I will say they get 3 stars because the food was good, but I would give less because the bartender was pretty rude. You could tell as soon as we walked in that she wasn't excited to help us. There were 5 of us and we all order breakfast and everything tasted good. The bartender however had comments on things that we said she even talked back a few times. I was a little taken back by how she treated people being in the service industry. I took it as she doesn't like tourists, which I am sorry but I am sure your pay check is mostly paid for by tourists. Hi team: I want to share some feedback from a takeout order we picked up last night, as it was unfortunately very disappointing. We live in Winter Park and have been loyal customers of Randi's for many years, which is why I felt it was important to reach out directly. We ordered wings and a Cobb salad, and the primary issue was the chicken. It was significantly overcooked to the point of being completely inedible. While we understand that operating costs are rising across the board, so are costs for customers. We eat out far less frequently than we used to, and when we do, we are hoping for a meal that is both enjoyable and edible. From a food-preparation standpoint, properly cooked chicken should reach 160°F and then rest to naturally come to 165°F. Cooking chicken well beyond that--closer to 220°F--results in dry, tough meat, which is what we experienced. This suggests there may be an opportunity for additional training or closer oversight in the kitchen. We truly appreciate the effort that goes into running a restaurant and value Randi's as a longtime local favorite. That said, we hope this was an isolated experience, as a repeat would unfortunately cause us to reconsider our patronage. In town for a few weeks and wanted to celebrate St. Paddy's Day with some Guinness and traditional Irish food. Found online, this maybe the only place that serves Guinness on tap, so we decided to check it out. Popped in hoping it wouldn't be too crowded. The table wait was about an hour, so we decided to wait at the bar. Fortunately, a couple was leaving and we scored two bar seats!!! We had a couple of ice cold pints of Guinness, Sheppard's Pie and Fish & Chips. Totally hit the Irish spot. Even though the bar was super busy, the bartenders and servers were excellent. Food served fast and pints filled. An excellent St. Paddy's here in Winter Park. Menu looked delicious so we plan to be back before we leave. I came here with 4 friends around 7:30PM on a Monday after snowboarding during a not super busy weekend and sat at the communal long table as it was still pretty crowded! They had burgers and the prime rib sandwich. I ordered the chicken salad (which was pretty good!) and a side of fries ($7). The fries were beer battered and mostly what I was excited for! We also shared the jalapeño wontons which were a little misleading since they looked more like egg rolls. These were really spicy and I couldn't get past 2 bites. We had a good experience here. We arrived and were told 15 min wait but was shorter than that. We had gone to bar to grab and drink. $7 house wine. Sure I'll try it. It wasn't bad. When we sat our waiter was prompt. I do recommend the grilled salmon- it was delicious. Served with mashed and asparagus. Hubby ordered Reuben sandwich and thought the sauce was a bit too sweet. Great Irish pub with excellent quality food! Healthy and vegetarian options exist too. I got the grilled salmon entree. The whipped potatoes were perfect! We went early since we had a larger group but they could easily accommodate us. Excellent! We stopped at Randi's on our way through Winter Park primarily because they allow dogs on their patio. Randi's is a true Irish Pub with respect to the food and beverage selection. Hearty servings of traditional Irish fare is the order of the day. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. I had the Prime Rib Dip Sandwich and was not disappointed. Hot, flavorful and generous is an apt description. However, upon leaving I was wishing I'd ordered the Shepherds Pie just because it's a hard menu item to find. We all commented on the seasoned French Fries. They were very good. The beer and spirit menu was a treat and an education. The correct beers all seem to be there: Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks and Kilkenny Cream Ale (those who love it, love it) are all offered. Who knew there were so many Layered Beers? If you're going to be an Irish Pub, layered beers are a must have. An Irish Pub needs rich, deep wood walls and accents to create the pub flavor. They got that right, for sure. I like their bar, a lot. I could spend an afternoon there, for sure. Service was good and the food was delivered quickly and came out hot. My only suggestion is they could spend some time on their outside presence. From the outside, the business looks ignored and unloved. Still, one of the better Irish Pubs I've been to for a while. Rustic Irish pub with some warming feel. Perfect for after hitting the slopes at on Maryjane. We ended up going twice. First night service was great and recommend the Randi Elk Burger. Second night our server didn't seem very enthusiastic to be serving us. However, additionally the Prime Rib sandwich and ribs covered up for that persons rudeness and lack of serving us. Overall def, recommend and look forward to coming back here. PS it does get busy so expect some wait time if your show up after 7pm. read more

Every year over Presidents' Day weekend, I find myself in winter park with a scout ski trip. It's pretty awesome. I help the setup crew on the first day of the trip. Once we are done doing our service, we head to Randi's. It's a great place with awesome pub food. It's like "pub food 2.0." Also g with a good selection of beer. Ate lunch here while my people skied. Had the meatloaf and bread pudding. The bartender took great care of me. She was attentive but not overbearing. She made great recommendations. Didn't get a pic but the meatloaf was the best I've ever had. The chocolate bread pudding was delicious. It was a calm and quiet place for lunch. It was so good I brought the family for dinner. Our table had ribs, artichoke dip, pretzel, beer cheese soup, pot pie, bananas foster and brownie sundae. Tom was a great server and took great care of us. Spent the long weekend at Winter Park and Randi's was a restaurant highly recommended. It was amazing, we sat at the bar and it was just like a classic Irish pub. The bartender was super nice, our drinks came fast along with our food. I got the turkey sandwich and it came on a croissant it was AMAZING. The pesto Mayo on it made it 10x better. On the Friday before Xmas, we had dinner there and I noticed the price for 12 oz ribeye was around 35-39 dollars and we decided to have dinner there on Xmas eve that's when I saw the menu had blacked out the old price for the 12oz ribeye and the "new " price was $55.00! I'm not sure how to take this as it feels like I got taken advantage of by the establishment due to the holidays and the fact that there is no snow on the slopes, I wonder if they were trying to make up for the lack of customers in town? I came here with a group of 7 for dinner on a Wednesday evening around 7:30 pm. We had about a 30-40 minute wait, and the host did not seem thrilled about us showing up as he said he only had 3 cooks at the time. However, we had a very good experience overall. I had their Irish coffee decaf to start, and it was very strong and delicious. For food, my friend and I each got a cup of the beer cheese soup, which was so comforting on a chilly evening. We split an order of the fish and chips, and even half an order was too much food for me. After paying winter park resort prices, it was refreshing to get food that was good value. Not to mention fantastic fish and chips! The fish was very crisp, the fries were hot, and it came with a small cup of coleslaw and dipping sauce. Our server was friendly and helpful.
