Their website claims that if you give them an email address, they have a special Internet price. Then they text you that there is a sale for three days. You make an appointment, you show up at the dealership the car has not been pulled around as promised. No one knows you're coming. The person that has been texting 1 question at a time all day long, they don't know her...this is annoying already. I told you my time, date and car I wanted to look at we don't have to have a monologue or write a book. (they call every time they text, I'm at work and can't answer calls) and now this person isn't even available they are located in some call center somewhere else to bait you into coming to the store. I live in Fort Worth so it's an hour there and 1.5 back. We don't have time to play around with, Oh, hello who are you, who did you talk to, what car are you looking at? Oh ok let me pull this around for you. We take a test drive. I need the carfax report, I get it we go through it. Let's talk numbers... The salesman wants to know how much finance you have been approved for. I'm not telling you my finance amount can you work with me or not? I'm asking you what's your FINAL PRICE for this car that's out the door and all fees added. Finally gets me this info then tells me that I can give him an offer, I finally do and in 10 min he says that's too low (ok thank you I'm ok with that finally an answer). Then it's we're closing early so what can we do for you are you still interested in this car? These go quickly, I know that's why I want this make/model because it's highly sought after and it wont be the last one. So you have my info and my price range now can call me if you find me a car. Then I ask him for the paper that we have been doodling on. "Oh and we can't give you our printed out offer page because it has all your personal information on It and we have to shred it"?!? My husband spoke to Brendon Rogers about an infinity Q80 that was for sale. We told him we were coming from over an hour away to see this vehicle. Brendon told us that he wouldn't be there but his boss "Don" would be there to show us the vehicle. He said it was there and it would be no problem for us to come check it out. We get there to find out neither Brendon, Don , or the vehicle was there ! Apparently they had sold it 10 days ago. I 100% think they were just trying to get us there thinking we would buy something else! This is not a huge lot! You could literally look out the window and see all the cars. We decided to go to Don Herring Mitsubishi on the recommendation from the radio show Wheels with Ed Wallace. Because Ed always talks about how he only lets "honest" car dealers advertise on his show. That his car dealers always provide excellent service. Paid $38,000 sticker price, less a $10K factory rebate, in cash for a new 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV late December of 2020. I didn't try to negotiate or anything because E said you can trust his guys. They hadn't preppeed the car 100%, there were still scratches that needed touching up and some other stuff. They said go ahead and take it, drive it and if you find anything else we'll take care of it. They also provided a list of other things that they would handle free of charge. However, every time we tried to schedule to bring the car in to take care of this punchlist etc,... they had an excuse for why they couldn't handle it at the time. Finally they told us we could buy the paint touch up and do it ourselves. This is the kind of response and service (or lack there of) we received throughout 2021. One of the things was to have the oil changed and the tires rotated at 5000 miles. It finally reached 5000 miles in April of 2022, we called to schedule the oil change and they said we'd have to pay for the oil change and oh by the way, the tire rotation too because the one year time limit was up. Then recently they had the gall to text me and say they had 2022 Outlanders for sale. LOL Bottom line, Don Herring and by association with Ed Wallace and I must assume the other car dealers are no more honest than the used car lots you find in some of the less desireable parts of the metroplex. I've bought several vehicles from Chuck Fairbanks Chevrolet in Desoto over the last 20+ years and have never had anything but a great experience with them. Chuck Fairbanks, isn't one of Ed's buddies he lets on the show. I will never buy from a dealership Ed Wallace speaks for. BEWARE of service department at this dealership. My husband and I taken our car in for an oil change and someone in the service department cracked our windshield and lied about it saying it was cracked upon arrival. Alan Ray General Manager stated he would send videos of us on their parking lot. He did however he did not send all the video and now he is saying due to Dallas roads the windshield might have cracked on the way. I requested videos of us arriving on the parking lot and us waiting at the service doors before someone drove the car back. He sent cloudy videos of the car moving and not the correct angles. This is very poor customer service and should be handled better. SOMEONE IN YOUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT CRACKED OUR WINDSHIELD ANS IS LYING!! My car has been in their possession since 2/1/22 to repair the catalytic converter. I've made several attempts to communicate with the management regarding the repair as this is my only mode of transportation to work and to get my kids to school. I've spoken with Ruben (Manager), Ray Allen (GM) and Cynthia (corporate) whom all did not have anything to say besides they did not know how long it would take. They did not offer a loaner or rental to ensure that I can make it to work or take my kids to school.
