Combo 2 crispy tacos and Combinacin de Carnes

This place never misses! Food is always great and packaged well. Definitely a local spot worth ordering from.

Tasty tacos and papusas- I tried the carnitas, carne asada and ground beef. The tacos were big and generous on the meat and fillings. Meat was seasoned with fat, spices, and a touch of sweetness. The carnitas had crispy bits and a subtle BBQ-lke flavor and it was my favorite of the 3. Papusa was hot and cheesey and served with some slaw on the side. Service was quick and nice, ambiance is basic hole in the wall with a couple tables. Would go back to try more things.

My new favorite: sopa de res. It's a beef soup that reminds sancocho, thin broth with big chunks or roots and beef on its bone. The broth is delicious. It comes with thick corn tortilla and a side of rice salad .As usual the portion is generous.

#2 combo (3 tacos) and beans and cheese pupusa

I get take out from here at least 4 times a week. I walk in at exactly the same time after work and flash a "peace" (I make it look like a gang sign) but they know I want their number two combo plate which is three tacos, rice & beans lately I've been mixing things up and ordering pupusas. Recently on National Chip Day I stopped in for a large side of guacamole. The service is perfect and they have an extensive menu. The burritos and nachos do not disappoint. The ambiance is warm and overlooks Medford St and it just works. Although I live close enough to see through their windows I sometimes get delivery which is always fast but always fresh and delicious. They never disappoint.

    "Large" guacamole and chips

Ordered two tacos as well as chips and guacamole. Food was decent but arrived cold, and took just a little longer than the window that yelp said should arrive in. So maybe 90mins? The "large" guacamole was a little deceiving. (See photo) I'm sure the food is really good when it's still warm. It was just okay cold.

The business is sort of in a house? It was small and kind of dark inside. It was definitely an interesting experience,,, The appetizer was reallyyy good, I forgot the name though... The mole however, was not very good. The mole was liquidy and the chicken was dry. Overall, I think this place is more for fun busy nights where you just drink and apps. I'd like to come again when its busier and we aren't the only customers.

We started off with two drinks- a frozen mangonada and this passion fruit drink. They were both solid but I liked the mangonada better because the passion fruit cocktail had too much pulp in it! For food, we started off with chips and guac. This guac was some of the best I've had. It was super fresh and you could tell exactly what ingredients they used. We also their pork ribs! The ribs fell off the bone and I loved the warm sauce except it was a tiny bit dry. The sauce was reminiscent of an umami bbq sauce. We decided to try their zucchini dish, as recommended by the manager! I don't love zucchini usually but I liked it. It was roasted with cheese, sauces, and some shrimp. Very creative, Lastly we got the tuna ceviche of the day. I didn't really like this because it was really heavy on the dill. I think it would've been good without it. However the presentation was gorgeous and it came with plantains. Overall the vibes are superb here for a date, girls night, or whatever!!

We ordered the following: - fish tacos (3) - flavor wise this fell flat for me. No punch of seasoning to the fish personally. - Birria tacos combo - fire combo. I just love birria style tacos. Highlight for me hot and well cooked beef, tender. - Birria chimichanga (2) this is hefty, i thought this was a good chimichanga, i would probably ask for extra sauce next go around, it got a bit dry without it. - carne asada enchiladas, the lady enjoyed this, carne was moist and tender. - pork belly & yuca loved the pork belly originally thought it was more like a chicharron dish but enjoyed this style , the yuca wasn't my jam. - tajin elote (2) love tajin elotes so no complaints! - churro espresso Great spot, great service.

Plus they had other options, including tostadas, bowls, tamales, burritos, you name it. When we arrived, there were people inside eating. We stopped to look at the menu before ordering, and were greeted by a very friendly man who made the experience more enjoyable. I ordered a tostada with steak, onions, cilantro, a little sour cream, green verde sauce, lettuce, and refried beans. It was my first time trying one so so was really excited. I also ordered two cheese pupusas, which I ended up taking to go with me. My boyfriend ordered a bowl with chicken and various toppings. My tostada was delicious. The crunchy tortilla paired with fresh steak and all the juices from the onion and cilantro paired so nicely together. The ingredients seemed very fresh. We were gonna take this to go, but we decided to dine in. The same gentleman ended up checking in on us half way through the meal to see how we were doing. I thought this was really nice. His name is Chef Noe and he was telling us that he is the head chef for this restaurant. He was glad we enjoyed our meal and it was a pleasure talking to him. Overall I think the spot is well placed as it is right near Leslie university in Harvard so I think it's a good spot for students to come or if you're local like us. It's quick but it has quality. Its fast food but it's fresh. That's what I liked about it. It's all prepared in house and the flavors are great. The decor is also cute inside, very colorful and I thought it was creative that they up-cycled Jarittos bottles into flower vases. Definitely check out the spot when you're in Cambridge and you won't be disappointed.

I really need to remember to look online before choosing my order in the future (or so I thought). While the tacos still look incredible (especially the birria ones), the torta was surprisingly great as well. The sandwich is jam packed with ingredients and really well balanced. The beef was juicy and tender, and the veggies added a really nice balance of spice (jalapenos), freshness (onions, lettuce, and tomatoes), and richness (cheese and avocadoes). The refried beans were a pleasant surprise as well, adding really good moisture and flavor to the overall bite. And including avocado on the torta for no extra cost really is what put this above and beyond to a 5/5 - the avocado was ripe and had just the right amount of it to add that rich and fatty element without being too slippery and making it hard to eat. The fries, on the other hand, were a bit soggy and thick for my liking. I had seen another photo on Yelp where they looked a lot crispier and were shaped differently, so not sure if I just got unlucky, but the sandwich more than made up for the fries in this case. I really can't say enough positive things about the torta. And even though the torta was fantastic and I gave it a 5/5, I definitely want to come back for those tacos. Three tacos plus rice for $18 is a pretty great deal, and the tacos really look incredible. My partner ordered a tongue, al pastor, and fish taco and while I didn't try them, they looked and smelled incredible. We will definitely be back!
