This management sucks here!!! Do not become a MEMBER!!! It is very easy to sign up, they encourage everyone to sign up. But try to cancel ur subscription. It's impossible!! The web site throws you in circles. You try to get a hold of management, they don't answer there phones, the mail box is full. You go in to see the manager, manager is out for the day. This place is my go to place for a round of golf with some friends. Mind you, it's a par three course so the holes are shorter than your full courses and more beginner friendly. They also have soccer golf available if you ever wanted to give it a try. Plenty of spots available at the driving range (which used to be a football field and they still have the post up at the end) and you can walk on during the week and still get a tee time. I recommend making reservations first as it will get packed during the evenings and weekends. I highly recommend this place for anyone interested in learning how to play golf or don't want to pay expensive course fees. read more

I came across this location through yelp search. This is a nice little golf range in Norwalk. The staff were really nice. The range is closed between 3:00pm - 5:00pm for cleaning. When I say little golf range, I meant the range can only accommodate about more or less 10 spots. It doesn't have a grill or thing that divides the spots in between so hopefully the person in front of you doesn't make a wide and long twist. Otherwise, it's clean, nice and average noise. Family friendly and wallet friendly 9 hole golf course! If you want a golf course where you can bring the whole family or new golfers this is your place! The pro shop- small shop but has everything you need for the day. Only sells candy and soft drinks. Friendly staff and restrooms are clean! The course-9 hole par 3 course. You will be hitting off green range mats at every whole. I think the longest whole was about 115. Fairways are hit and miss but the greens are kept up very nicely by the grounds crew! Lots of divots on greens from other golfers. Driving range-2 levels with nice mats. No tees so bring your own. Price for a large bucket was $16. Yellow range balls were a little muddy but in decent shape. Only complaint was there were so few baskets for the whole range and only counted a handful. Seemed like the locals would hog the baskets. There is a second level which is usually empty but has no shade. There is a football field goal post about 100 yards out which makes this place a very unique place to hit some balls. Practice area-Two decent size putting greens and a chipping area with a sand trap. Great practice location. Parking- Parking was super close and easy to find, be careful parking next to the practice area there was some close calls while we were out there! Don Knabe is chipping & putting heaven! I've been getting back into the golf again and noticed that my short game desperately needs a refresher. Luckily my friend introduced me to Don Knabe to help me with my chipping and putting. For about $8, you can do their short 9 hole course, which is located to the left of their property. They're all par 3 holes with the farthest being about 100 yards (possibly more?). They have about 3 holes where you can practice taking/avoiding bunkers. They do have you chip off mats, which is the only downside but is understandable for why they have you do it. Tee times are practically always open. We've been able to walk in day of which is another thing I like. The right side of their property is their driving range. They have a football post to help with your aiming. They also have two putting areas to practice in. read more

Unfortunately I have to give this place a low rating. The course allows a few men to hold up mats while they're sitting inside the pro shop. The upstairs ball machine needs replacing. Balls get stuck. I had a bad experience with the ball machine on multiple occasions. This last time I called the pro shop while I was there to let them know and the phone rang and rang. Finally the phone was answered and they immediately hung up. So I called back and I got a busy signal so I decided to walk over and when I entered the pro shop the young lady working didn't even notice me. She was too busy looking at her cell phone. This is a beautiful facility to work on your short game, Today I paid for 9 holes and on the the 3rd hole I was approached by one of the front desk worker asking if I paid for my round, The issue is that he was yelling at me and it was very embarrassing, The group in front of me cut from #6 to #3, I asked him this group cut in front of me and you are approaching me if I paid my $8.25 to play ‍... I was really upset because he told me I was not allowed on the course and ended up calling the cops on me.. This is still my favorite place to practice despite the lack of employee training. Came here on a Friday around 4:30. Almost all the spots were taken on the ground floor but they clear out pretty fast. Seems like everyone comes here to get their bucket shots worth and leaves. You can go to the main building to purchase the balls per bucket or purchase a key fob for $35 for one bucket, once a day usage. It's clean and spacious and everything is in good shape. The only downside to this place is depending on the time of day, you're facing the sun. I had to take a break and scoot back to where the benches are in between because the sun was getting too much, even with my hat on. Knabe was the first "course" I played at when I first started to golf, and I still find myself coming here regularly to work on my short game. Tee times are usually easy to get, and there is plenty of twilight golfing to be done here. You will encounter bunkers, trees, and some tight pins, perfect to kind of work on everything but a long drive. The driving range is pretty cool as well, and definitely unique. There is a field goal pole that is about ~150yds out and metal signs laid out throughout to help you gage your shots. My only gripe with the range is the netting at the top that knocks down how high lofted shots. Overall Knabe is fun, perfect for all ages and skill levels. read more

Unfortunately there is a new management company for the course. Course care is terrible the last 6 months. Seems like they low bid and then are saving money anyplace they can. One plus is they cut down on the people at the driving range since you only get 1 bucket a day instead of 2 with their membership Club. One positive is there are much less busy these days. Gone are the youth tournaments and HS events. Guess their new target player market is the me, the 12 handicap retired guy who likes to play once a month to work his non existent short game. read more

I was on my way to Ironwood Nine in Cerritos. They were closed for some course work. I googled driving ranges, and this one popped up. Place is really nice. It's got a two level range which is pretty neat. $10 for a bucket of 100 balls is not bad. They have plenty of targets and distance markers on the driving range including a football goal post. It seems fairly new as everything is really clean and there's plenty of parking and there were quite a few people there today as well. So if you're looking for a good place to go for a pretty good price, might want to check this one out. read more

The 9hole course here is very short but super fun. The longest hole is only 100yards so you'll really just need a couple wedges and your putter. There is also a small practice area and driving range. I was lucky enough to play there about a week before it officially opened. The course is short, but the conditions were phenomenal! It looked like a short but expensive resort type course. The fairways and greens were gorgeous. Even the first year it was pretty good and the maintenance crew would be visible at the course manicuring it and keeping it pretty nice. Unfortunately I find it now in sad shape, mainly due to the people that have not really been introduced to the game properly and they lack the knowledge of proper golf etiquette. Ball marks on the greens are a huge problem, sand that is not raked and also poor upkeep as there are bald spots in the grass areas. The greens are now much slower that they used to be as well. I was told that American golf now runs the course, I guess they are partially to blame as well. Also a feature that my grandson loved was the little drop box by the first homemade so to speak that you drop your ball down and it ends up on the bottom in different slots that indicate the first tee order. The staff on my second visit this week seemed more interested in talking with each other instead of helping customers, waited for some time before they helped us as they were busy talking to each other. Like I said before, instead of having your staff converse with each other how about having them talk to the customers and discuss etiquette while ringing them up? It may help make the course nice again. I would suggest that the people that run the course give out branded inexpensive divot tools and inquire if the participants know how to repair a ball mark. Also ask them if they know how to take a sand trap, pretty basic stuff. Myself and my friends, when we play fix several ball marks in addition to ours to help keep the greens true. read more

I haven't been to the Norwalk par 3 I ages. My buddy Sam recommended we play. I was a little hesitant because I remember Norwalk par 3 to be poorly up kept. I was completely wrong. Everything is renovated, driving range, the course is nicely manicured, facilities were really clean. The par 27 9 hole course is no walk in the park either! Subtle breaks and cross grains guard friendly looking pin placements. Great place to dial in your wedges. If you come during the day bring a hat shade is limited. Will be coming back. I am new to golf but always wanted to take it up. I love this course. It is fast to play even for beginners like myself. It is clean and the signage is easy to read. I love coming at night as the sun isn't in your eyes and the lights come on. Just be warned, if you have a late tee time, they will shut off the lights right after they close. Make sure you schedule earlier if you don't want to lose your ball. read more

What the heck happened to this place? I used to be a regular and routinely purchased a key fob for range balls. I stopped playing when the new management did away with the key fob deal, which was very reasonable. I use to play the course and/or hit balls on the range at least four times a week. I returned today for the first time since the new management took over and was horrified by the conditions of the range and the course. The grounds used to be beautiful. It was watered on a regular basis and the greens were maintained nicely. This once nice course is so disgusting now. Bring back the old management because this is not working. read more

Is a good little course to practice your short game and even better for beginners young to old play their initial rounds of golf. The driving range is good to get in a quick bucket and smoothen out your swing. The netting enclosures the top to the sides so shorter irons and hitting off the top deck the ball flight can hit the top of the net interfering the ball flight, spin and distance. I started to dial in my 9 iron by grooving in a spot on the top of the net. read more

This place is nice dont get me wrong. Its a nice place to work on your short game. But the driving range has been taken over by country club wannabes from the next city over that starts with a C. Because of the cheap range prices they flock over to this course that they'd typically make fun of in their "groups" (dressed to a T wearing all designer golf gear). Jeez they come to this range with a full bag and the range is only 170 yards long. I mean the kids need to practice, and these people have the money and a driving range in their own city too. The course needs to reserve half or a quarter of lower range stalls for teens and kids. Oh and I have to keep reminding these same people that they cant be smoking here. This is a great 9 hole, 3 par course. The facilities are clean and neat. Parking is close. The parking lot is small and clean. This is a casual spot where lots of families take their children who are actually interested in golf come to improve their skills. Everyone is kind and polite. Since so many people come here to improve their skills, please mind your head. Golf balls are flying. The dress code is not strict making it much more friendly than some of the other courses around.
