Customer service is top notch here. I've never seen a business actually take in feed back so well. TDLR: We came in Feb and we didn't have the best experience. Our friend broke a club here and the policy at the time was that the rentee had to pay for the price of a brand new club even though they were renting a used club. after voicing my opinion, they decided to change the policy and agreed that people who break a rental club should just pay for the value of a used golf club. I've never seen a business go above and beyond and meet customers in the middle ground like that so it really meant a lot to me. We came back again in March again and service was significantly better. They were very attentive and were very helpful with showing us how to work the machines. There are a lot of different play modes but putting is one of my faves because I suck at swinging. The private rooms are really cool's because you can sing & swing at the same time!! The best of both worlds if u have friends that don't really golf but wanna hang c: Food here is bomb!! lowkey better than a lot of pocha spots. The kimchi pasta and rose dukbokki are so tasty and the Korean fried chicken is so fire. The honey garlic was my fave flavor for the friend chicken. Parking here is also super easy. Golf Plus is an absolute blast with friends. The setup is perfect for group hangouts--especially the private rooms, which are clutch since they also have karaoke. You can screen golf, take breaks, sing terribly, then jump right back in. It makes the whole experience feel more like a night out than just a golf session. Pricing is actually pretty reasonable once you split it with the group, especially considering how long you can hang out and how much you're getting out of it. So glad this golf simulator place opened up right next to my place, I could even walk there! It opened up a few months ago and my boyfriend, sister, her fiancé and I finally had time to check it out! It's located in the La Mirada Theater Center, right by IHOP, Taco Bell, Cassidy's Corner & Juice Stop. It took over the old LA Fitness/Gymnastics building. They only have the first floor as the second floor is owned by a different company. We came by on a Saturday night and to our surprise it wasn't busy at all. We were greeted by one the staff members who went over how everything works and gave us a quick tour of the facility. We decided to try it out for a hour and went with a public bay that holds up to 4 people. Since we just had dinner we only ordered a pizookie (which took a while) and was a bit overpriced for the size. The set up was really nice and the staff would check up on us from time to time. They have a full kitchen and bar to order from. If you want more privacy they do have private bays you can use which includes karaoke! I would like to come back here again to try out their food and drinks and definitely the karaoke! read more

We have been wanting to check out Golf Plus since they announced their opening and were glad to finally get the chance this week. We were curious to compare it to Olympic Golf in Buena Park, which is where we usually go for virtual golf when we don't want to take the trek to Top Golf. First impression, the staff is really friendly and the place is really clean and modern. Prices weren't terrible, and they have deals depending on the day and time that you go. You do need to bring your clubs unless you want to pay to rent theirs. We did order a couple finger foods which we all enjoyed. Unless you book a private bay, expect to be extremely, uncomfortably close to your neighbor. This establishment feels like they can't decide if they want to be a serious golf place or a fun/vibey hangout place. You will definitely see customers who are there for both vibes which makes it awkward for everyone, especially being in such close quarters. Although we had a good time, we likely won't be returning anytime soon. read more

For a Saturday afternoon.. No complaints here! We booked a private room just because we brought our 7yr old.. and I being 37wks pregnant wanted to be comfortable in the booth style seating. The AC blasting was a bonus for me on this hot summer day! The golf sim was tracing well and the area was well maintained. The karaoke had a lot of songs to choose from and even had options for songs in different languages. The food itself was surprisingly good! Usually places that specialize in FUNtivities have basic tasting food. But when the picky little one says "oooh I love this place!" when they brought in our food order and actually eats several slices of pizza.. WE know it's a good one! We also ordered regular chicken wings and these were nice and crrrrrispy I tell ya! It wasn't dried out and I usually order ranch with wings, but this time I totally forgot to ask because it didn't need it. Didn't get to try their dessert options, but there's always next time! We appreciated how often staff checked up on us so we didn't even need to use the service button. In general, staff was friendly and very helpful from the time you enter and up until you leave after check out. Overall, we will definitely come back again! Already told our friends about it! I'm not a big golfer but I was pretty impressed with the technology for the virtual golfing. It was pretty intuitive and had good camera angles that can even help workshop my swings. Alcohol is also available and priced fairly. The space is clean, open, and surprisingly spacious. It doesn't feel cramped like some other golf sims, and the staff is super friendly. Private rooms are available, which looked perfect for parties. Karaoke/NRB is available, if you're willing. The simulator itself uses a different system than your typical trackman, and as a beginner golfer I loved it. It showed slow-motion replays of your swing, including attack angle and other detailed metrics. Great for both casual players and those looking to improve. Wonderful first experience at Golf Plus! We booked a private room which comes with a golf simulator and karaoke. Servers were friendly and came to the room to take our orders or if we needed any support with the simulator. We shared chicken nachos and their signature beer. It was lovely to have our own space to enjoy a round of golf! They have golf clubs to rent for a fee so we brought our own. I can see this place coming in clutch, especially on days with inclement weather or with non-golfers who just want to lounge and enjoy the food, company, and perhaps some karaoke. Love this place! My husband and I were looking for something different to do for our date night and thanks to good ol' Yelp I stumbled across Gold plus. So happy I did, on a Saturday night around 7 they were pretty full but still had room for us to use a publi.lc bay, I wanted a private but they were all booked so I definitely recommend making reservations for that. We filled out our waivers, paid for the equipment but you can bring your own clubs if you have some. The cool thing is they keep your card on file pretty much an open tab so you can order drinks and food on your tab. The food was very good. I was surprised because I was expecting average bowling alley type food but I was wrong. We tried their bulgogi fries, coconut shrimp and Bulgogi tacos. The shrimp was just ok but that Bulgogi? Amazing! The actual golfing itself was fun.. my husband and I don't play golf so they set us up for just practice for an hours we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I thought the venue was small but it's a lot bigger than I thought with ample parking. The waitress we had was really nice and she even took us to one of the private rooms to show us what they were like and they're a pretty good size with karaoke and a button to press for service when needed. The place is great with many simulator bays and tech for solid golf practice and fun. My son played sims of courses in Vietnam that were beautiful and challenging. The prices are reasonable and the food was amazing. The most delicious wings - perfectly crispy outside and tender juicy inside. But I was most impressed with the top notch service. While in California I attended the grand opening and was very impressed. Visitors were greeted to an array of green balloons, which, were positioned at the front entrance. Upon entering I was met by a staff member who was very friendly and eager to answer any questions while offering a tour of the facility. After the tour, I took advantage of the 50% opening day discount and decided to utilize the driving range experience on the computer and hit several golf balls, which, was fun and very enjoyable. Food is also available, so, I ordered the Spicy GangNam Wings, Chicken quesadilla and the zucchini fries. All of these dishes were cooked perfectly and had great flavor. My server, Melody was amazing and did a wonderful job. Her personality was inviting and she was very engaging, which, as a customer I appreciated. The business offers twelve bays for non-members and eleven for members. The members area is located on the opposite side of the building giving them privacy. The membership also gives you access to a workout area where one can receive individual fitness training and a locker where members can store their golf clubs when away from the facility. Should you want a more intimate & private golfing experience with family/friends, private rooms are also available. There's also a bar onsite offering a variety of adult beverages. The facility is extremely clean, well organized and very user friendly making maneuvering around very easy. With this being their flag ship location, it speaks volumes of the company's commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction and providing guests with a first class golfing experience. This is definitely a place where golf lovers and even those weekend worriers would appreciate. However, the true test for any new business is maintaining the high standards and expectations set upon its initial opening. The bar has been set. So I am a very avid golfer and love to do almost anything golf. I live in the area and I've driven by and saw this place and renovations for a couple months now and was wondering if it was going to be up to the hype because there aren't really any good simulator, golf businesses near me in Whittier or La Mirada. So upon going in this one, I was greeted by the salesman. I didn't catch that gentleman's name but he walked me around the facility and he did a wonderful job. I was sold right away. I paid $25 for the hour, and it was well worth it. As I was golfing, I was greeted by one of either the owners or the general manager. His name was Richard. Very kind gentleman greeted me in my bay. Asked me how I liked. It cracked a couple jokes and then treated me to an iced coffee. Let me just tell you these guys are awesome and they are already starting off on the absolute best foot. I had a server his name was Kevin very kind person, he came over and asked me how I was doing, brought me a water and anytime a ball flew out of the bay. He jumped right to it to help me out. This place hasn't been open very long, but they are already starting off on the absolute best foot. I highly recommend going to this place and giving it the opportunity even if it's just for the hour if you can play a couple golf courses for $25 for an hour I highly recommend it. They serve food they serve drinks they do private lessons they have putting sessions they do it all I will 100% be back and I would highly look into the membership. read more

The facilities are super nice, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I also loved the putting practice area--it's such a fun extra. I tried four different wing flavors, and they were all so good. The spicy Gangnam was my favorite. Their tteokbokki, pasta, and fried side dishes were also really good. Golf plus.. needs work. We showed up to have a good time on the driving range simulator, have a few drinks and enjoy our date night. We aren't professional, serious golfers, but we love to hit the driving range. It was pretty annoying that the vibes were of a place to have a good time, the staff was great at getting drinks to us, but our neighbors were there as if they are next up at a PGA tour. The awful looks and remarks they made really ruined the good vibes. I'm not sure what this venue is aiming to be. Potential is very high, but reality is mid at best. It was nice to have a place to golf when it was pouring outside, but the person who checked us in, came to turn the TV on, and told us our check out time was just plain RUDE and seemed like her day was ruined by it being busy on a rainy day. We were shown to our private room, 25 minutes after our reservation time, asked if we had played before (we had people in our party who had been previously), and left to get started. The room was quite and clean, but no instruction given on how to work the TV or even how to get the music started. The two people in our group that had visited in the past did not have a private room, so some information would have been helpful. Our server was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. The food was not great and drink choices were pretty bad, but the speed in which we received anything we ordered when we were there was amazing!! She was over-the-top helpful and kind. During our visit, we didn't have a way to turn on the football game we wanted to watch, so our server called in a request for the remote. Once the person at the front desk arrived with it, she didn't say much except that the WIFI was off and there would be no way for the TV to work. We didn't even have a way to play music and the place boasts karaoke in their private rooms. She was actually rude about the situation and proceeded to leave the TV on without leaving the remote. Oddly enough, the people in the next room had LOUD music and seemed to be able to get their set-up working. About an hour into our visit, the screen and golf seemed incredibly inconsistent and was hard to follow. It definitely took away from the experience as a whole because the simulator was so inaccurate. It could have been user error too :). Lastly, we were given a rude heads up when they thought we had 15 minutes left. A person from our party went to the front desk to let them know we had started late due to the party ahead of us. With some back and forth between the two personnel up front (one being the rude employee) it was finally determined that we could finish our round, but that was not without some pushback on our part. I may return to give them a second chance, but I will be trying other location prior to this one for better customer service, and better food and beer choices. read more
