    Lunch Chicken Flautas
    Terri J.

Good food and good service. I was hung up on the layered dip, now I am hung up on the lunch chicken flautas. They have very good chips and salsa too.

The atmosphere is definitely more enjoyable than the outside.

We are visiting for the week and I am a Mexican food concoisseur so decided to give it a try. Upon arriving the outside looks sketchy, but the inside was fun and festive. We were greeted and sat immediately, as there was only 1 other table being occupied. We ordered our drinks, but were surprised they did not sell alcohol (no big deal, but I like a great margarita). The water-a hard pass, get a soft drink. We had queso as an appetizer, it tasted like a mix of canned nacho cheese and Campbells nacho cheese soup... skip this! Our food came out relatively quickly. The kids burger and adult burger are the same exact size but the cost is different by $2.50. The kids consumed the burger and enjoyed it as they are basic and do not have high standards for food. It just a regular frozen patty grilled, nothing fancy; reminded me of a burger served at my school when I was younger. Chicken tenders, for my child who LOVES branching out , were less tasty than Tyson frozen chicken tenders. The Lingleville Burrito was HUGE, approximately the size of my forearm (both length and thickness). It came we beans, rice, cheese, fajita meat, sour cream, pico and guac. I had it without pico, I could definitely taste rice and beans! It was basically a bean burrito with a garnishing of sour cream, guac and meat. Still decent, but only finished half. My husband got the same thing without beans. His was full of meat, way better than mine. We were starving and the burrito filled the emptiness of my stomach, not something to go back for though. Overall, we were all fed and were happy with the service. They also have an assortment of Mexican candy for purchase... the kids and I loved that the best.

Veggie? Yes, you can! Spinach enchiladas with potato sides.

Service was great and the food is always good. My wife and I probably go twice a month and it's a 40 mile drive each way.

Big surprise. The food is excellent. Chile relleno one of the best I've ever had. Fresh chips and salsa. The half order of nachos was huge.

My daughter suggested this place as it was one of her favs. Everything in Stephenville is nearby, so it took less than 10 minutes to get to the restaurant, The parking lot was packed, but we found a place in back. We were met quickly after entering the front door and escorted to our table. The restaurant is shaped like a big rail car, but it is much bigger. They have cozy booths that go all the way from front to back on both walls. In between them, in the middle, they have tables that stretch the entire distance. I guess this allows them to get the most people inside, and they need the space based on how busy it was. Service was slow and somewhat haphazard. After getting chips, salsa, and water, our waiter took our orders and then brought our appetizers. The meals were prepared and served very quickly. We were starving, so that was awesome. Everyone's meals were just as ordered and were served piping hot. All the meals were flavorful, spicy, and looked really good. Some of the meals were large enough that we took them home for another meal later in the week. Will I return? Definitely.

Waitress took over 3mins to come to table then didn't come back to check on me after another person brought my food to the table. Had to go to the front where the hotess stand and asked to be checked out. Horrible waiter, still had to wait on her and a ticket.

After waiting 5-7 minutes before anyone said anything to us we got some of the rudest service I have ever experienced. My wife asked about the horchata and the lady snapped back "I am here to get your food order!" The burritos were average but my wife ordered chorizo and got sausage and the tea was greenish in color but tasted ok. The cajeta churro was pretty good. When you start out on the wrong foot it's hard to earn high points. I hope they work on their service because the set up is pretty nice.

Tables and floors dirty had a feel of needing a wipe down. More turned off by the service. Although this place is set up to be super fast and efficient it wasn't for me. The people here are rude and or don't understand customer service. Not attentive or woking at any pace whatsoever. I probably won't come back. I will say I saw others order burritos and bowls and they were huge and a good price. I don't know I just didn't feel welcomed or taken care of so left feeling a bit mixed on this review. People make the difference and this place are zombie type worked don't look they want to be here. Place is not a date night type place. More of a lunch.
