I totally forgot this place existed. I wanted to pick up some pastries to thank the workers that are helping take care of my mom. I had to stop at The Fresh Market which is next door for a fruit platter. I could have easily bought sweets at the Fresh Market, but I wanted something a little more special. They are expensive, but taste and presentation is everything. Thanks to another Yelper for posting a review about Key Lime Tarts. My aunt from Ohio loves them and she is coming down for a visit. Well it's my neighborhood bakery so we do think of this place a lot when we have a sweet craving... so we came for a chorizo sandwich an empanada and some sweets. Everything was delicious. No complaints in the quality. We had a chorizo sandwich (comes with fries), a jam and cheese miga sandwich, then one meat empanada, and 2 facturas. Then I purchased a pack of chorizos and one baguette and paid (with tip) almost $50. I thought prices have really gone up... how sad. This is a great place to have as a local bakery/restaurant. They offer all sorts of Argentinian-style dishes, tasty coffees & beautifully crafted desserts/pastries. I especially like how they keep their display cases stocked no matter what time of day it is. Their baked goods always taste fresh & flavorful. The dining area is kept clean, service is generally really good & the prices are reasonable. There's a nice handful of tables inside & they also offer outdoor seating, as well. If you're looking for flan, cheesecake, fruit tarts, empanadas, tres leches or anything along those lines you'll find it here. If you want a strong brewed espresso, cafe con leche or iced coffee then look no further. I'm definitely picky when it comes to espresso-based drinks (or coffee in general) & like strong brews that have a bold body with little to no acidic taste; they do it right here. I haven't tried their lunch dishes but I can confidently say they serve an amazing breakfast. I really like their "deluxe plate" that comes with a little bit of everything. It comes with eggs cooked to your liking, sausage AND bacon, bread, a side choice & coffee. You really cant get much better than that! They've been at this location for well over 10 years so that speaks for itself. It's almost impossible to leave here without a box full of pastries even when you're stuffed from the meal you just ate. Nice little cafe, with some delicious looking pastries. I decided to sit down and do some work, while enjoying a latte and a baked ham and cheese empanada. You can tell this is a popular place, because people were coming and going. Looked like they are a hub for local Argentinians. And there is a good atmosphere, relaxed and familiar. I enjoyed the latte, but expected a little bit more filling in the empanada. But again, it's new to me, and you never compare one South American country with the other they are unique in their own right. The glass display case was loaded with big cakes and pastries. The espresso is always my first choice for a caffeine fix in the morning and today was no different. For a few bucks I had a perfectly executed espresso from the chrome blinged out machine. This is a very popular bakery in Pembroke Pines. I have been here on holidays and the line is literally out the door. I used to purchase desserts more often when they were in their former location, just a few doors down. I like their beef empanadas. They have the perfect blend of spices. Didn't even know this bakery existed until my sister-in-law, who lives in Los Angeles, sent a food delivery of mini key lime pies to my husband for his birthday. Key lime pies are one of his favorite things and I am not even lying when I tell you this...these key lime pies were some of the best I've ever had! They were beautiful and simple little tarts and that graham cracker crust was absolute perfection. The key lime pie was yellowish green, not that gross bright green color you see at some places. A little piece of Buenas Aires in Pembroke Pines Florida. Had the chicken milanesa sandwich that was as authentic as moms from Argentina. For our friends who are carnivores they also have steak milanesa. Service was good since many people were working and several places to eat inside. The smell of pastries was overwhelming and we were forced to take home Argentinian pastries. Croissants and guava filled Argentinian pastries were perfect with coffee the next day. We were also going to a gathering that night so took home a dozen empanadas filled with spinach , chicken and beef that disappeared quicker than a a drop of water on a Houston pavement. Today was my first time visiting this place with a group of friends. Service was super slow. Don't think that I will ever go back

The inside is very clean and has tables to dine in. There are also 2 tables outside. I bought 3 pastries (pictured) and 3 empanadas (beef (fried), chicken, and spinach). For the empanadas, the spinach was just okay, the chicken was good, and the beef was delicious. I'd recommend getting the beef. For the pastries, you definitely have to keep in mind that you're in an Argentinian bakery vs another. For example, I'm used to a Cuban tres leche, where the cake is sopping wet. Here, the style is wayyy more dry. Not as in the cake itself is dry, but it's extremely less wet. The señorita (the white pastry) was just okay. The coffee chocolate pastry was my favorite and very good and moist. Overall, I think the pastry style might not be my favorite as someone used to others, but it's definitely worth a try. Their empanadas are very good though, and I would come at least for that and then maybe pick out a pastry that looks good and give one a try. read more

I really wanted to love this bakery but it felt short. I got one of their Dulce de leche roll cakes and when I dug into it at home, the cake was so insanely dry. I couldn't tell if it was because the cake was no longer fresh or if they just overbaked it but it was the driest cake ever. Also, their empanadas barely have any filling. They don't put any price tag in any product they show. A total disrespect to the customer. You order's final price is a total mystery when you go to pay, and they also don't put the individual product price on the receipt, just the total. Absurd, I never knew a business doing this. This is a pretty good bakery that offers a very large selection of sweets and savory treats, including traditional Argentinian empanadas and Argentinian style sandwiches (pan de miga). In their pastry section which is huge, I particularly like their pastries filled with quince spread (mermelada de membrillo). They have a good selection of cakes, including a delicious Tiramisu cake. And they also sell packaged goods that are traditional in Argentina. They have tables, both inside and outside, and their coffee is also very good. Picked up some "bizcochos" o "factura" depending where you are from. They are a type of bread/biscuit customarily eaten in Uruguay and Argentina. They were very fresh, still warm. I have to say they are the best, and closest to the original, that I have tried in FL. They always offer a nice variety. We also had "sandwiches surtidos", little sandwiches (without crust!) usually with ham and cheese. They also make good coffee, sandwiches, empanadas and sell imported items. I love to visit when I'm missing Uruguay. read more

They have a wide selection of pastries, but they aren't labeled in the case and the staff weren't really able to answer questions about what they were when I asked. I also couldn't find a menu. There isn't one on the wall or displayed anywhere; there was just one small piece of paper that's apparently supposed to be on the counter but was misplaced, so I had no idea what to order. I asked for a cup of water when I ordered and they forgot to give it to me. I had to go up to the counter 2 more times to ask for it and they seemed annoyed. A tiny piece of layered meringue cake costs you $17. The prices are Unreasonably high. Why? I'm not sure why when the ingredients used are cheap ingredients. We spent about $60 to get a few desserts and the net weight was about 1.5 lbs. Way too pricey. The pastries had a terrible after taste. Bad slow service too. Such a comfort in knowing that Buenos Aires Bakery was open during this time. As soon as you walk in they have a hand sanitizer section with floor markings of 6 ft apart from other customers. The employees were wearing face coverings which also made me feel at ease. Despite the pandemic, they still had great selections! Even at 6 pm on a Monday evening.
