At almost 6:30PM, still lots to choose from!

Came to try their horchata latte one morning. You can definitely tell the horchata is house-made. It hits different in the best way: creamy and super flavorful. This is not your regular taqueria spot horchata. That said, I do wish it had been strained more to make it smooth. Even after mixing and swirling the drink, I kept getting chunks and grains with each sip, ended up doing more chewing than sipping, which isn't what I'm looking for in a coffee experience. The coffee itself is already chilled in a pitcher, so it's served cold and ready to go. Hopefully it was just an off day, since it's a new drink they're offering. The horchata flavor is there, just needs a little refining! The staff could've been a bit friendlier this visit. Happy to see they added little name signs to the breads! :)

Don Polvoron opened where Petra Middle East Cuisine once was. Interior updated with bakery section and Mexico pics on walls. Offerings (Mexican): bakes, eats-breakfast, drinks, burritos, breakfast tortas, antojitos (street snacks: Tamales, quesadillas..), Waiting for service while 3 latinas alternating serving patrons at bakery & ringing them up at central register. No numbers for lineup. Easy for a senorita to "cut" in line ahead of me. Didn't know breakfast available. So didn't partake. Bites: Almohada's de queso (pillow cake 3.10) -x's on the surface. Some purée like substance in the middle mixed with queso (cheese). Interesting.. Dane's relleno (danish-ish 4) -peach & strawberry purée/jam in middle. Mex. Breading not same as danish. Not my "jam". Napolitano (3.10) -white icing atop. Soft cake underneath. Some parts not so soft. 3.5 stars bakes not my style. Would stick to breakfast next time.

Had a pierna guisada torta per recommendation from the worker and two conchas (pan dulce) three weeks ago in May for lunch. I thought the torta was really good! I like that it comes with a side of sauce you can eat it with. The selection of pastries was very impressive but I just settled for the pan dulce. I thought it was alright. It was pretty but tasted a bit old and dry. I think my standards are a bit high because I tried one in Cancun before and it was fantastic! I think if I heated it up it would be alright paired with a coffee to start the day. Overall this is a decent place to get Mexican pastries and a quick breakfast/lunch! I would come back and try other pastries. Very friendly workers!

The employees were very nice and helpful. The conchas are SUPER SOFT!!! Will definitely be coming back for more of those. They also sell custom cakes for events.

Adorable new panaderia with Mexican food including tortas, tamales, flautas, pupusas, etc. They do not serve tacos and burritos other than a breakfast burrito in the morning. I'm assuming this is due to Cinco taco next-door. Went during lunch and there were several folks working and I was greeted promptly at the door. There's a few tables, but most of the food is taken to go. Oh yum love their pan! Had the upside down pineapple muffin that was so fresh and tasty. Couldn't stop myself from eating it while I waited for my Sope and pupusa. Their food is made to order and everything is very fresh. That was probably one of the best sope I've had in a while. Freshly fried dough pilled with beans, roasted pork, lettuce & tomato. I took the pupusa to go. It was perfectly made and filled with beans and cheese. Since it was meticulously made by a baker, there was no cheese spillage, resulting in no yummy crunchy fried cheese edges. The bakery is where Petra's Middle Eastern food used to be in the same shopping center as Target next-door to Cinco Taco. This is more of an upscale Panadería and the prices reflect that.

I stopped in during their grand opening and was warmly welcomed. They were offering samples of their sandwiches (tortas) and other treats. They had a variety of pan dulce. It all looked so delicious and guess what, it's as good as it looks! At least the concha and cuerno (horn) I had were delicious. They offer custom cakes and food. I can't wait to try! I'm delighted that Livermore finally has a place to get pan dulce!!

I love my new found breakfast spot!!! They have delicious eggs and chorizo and beans breakfast with homemade tortillas. Fresh! Queso and crema mexicana. Fabuloso! Try the pan dulces and the cafecito. Everyone is so friendly and fast. The place is always clean and welcoming.

the friendliness, courtesy, cleanliness and good vibes of this business exceed the quality and price of the product. the flavor, texture, freshness and size of pastries was on par with those of latin bakeries i've tried over in tracy , but price was more here. prices in tracy ranged from 1.25 to 1.75, while here they were 1.60 to 3.15. Still, the sweets were superior to those of the local mexican grocery store in town. the burritos were 12$ and way smaller than at other local places. meat was very shredded on the chicken and asada, and dispersed through plentiful rice. ok tasty, but i missed the fresh taste of pico and cilantro and bite size pieces of meat. overall, the 56$ for 2 burritos and a dozen sweets was not worth it.

small assortment of mexican baked goods and hot food. they also have a meat display for popular custom cakes! the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. they didn't rush us when there was a line growing. everything was clean and neat. gotta try their coffees next time.

My biggest complaint was about the wait time to get a table for two on a farmers market Sunday. I see the reason why they were busy but we were quoted 20-30 mts and got seated an hour later! Not sure if it was the kitchen or the server but they got it all wrong. 1) Mocha arrived the table late and did not have whipped cream as requested - then we asked if it was decaffeinated and the lady could not confirm... so they said they would make another. 2) Once again it did not have whipped cream. 3) their breakfast order was incorrect over easy eggs (they ordered scrambled) and hash browns (they ordered skillet potatoes) I ordered Chicken Fried Steak and it was good. Cooked well, ratio even, and gravy was super flavorful. Over medium eggs were also cooked perfectly (all white cooked with runny center). I also substituted the toast for a single Lemon Ricotta Pancake - that was also very good! The lemon curd was a great addition!!! The portions are large and quite expensive... so you may want to consider to share a meal. Street parking is limited... so be prepared to drive around to look for a spot. 4 stars instead of 5 ... But like I said - we had a great experience, my brother... not so much. Would I go back? Yes.

The inside has a very open-concept, modern vibe that feels clean, comfortable, and welcoming. There's a good amount of seating indoors, along with some outdoor seating and umbrellas if you want to enjoy the nice weather. The food and drink menu is fairly extensive, and prices are on the moderate side, so it's worth taking a look at all of your options to find something that fits your taste and appetite. Everything I've tried so far has been tasty, satisfying, and filling. If you're dining in and order their house drip coffee, they provide a coffee mug, and the coffee is self-serve along with the available extras. If you decide to take your drip coffee to go, just keep in mind that they only offer one size of to-go cup, and it's not particularly large. If you prefer a bigger cup of coffee, you may be a little disappointed. The staff have always been friendly, welcoming, and professional during my visits. With all of the other options available in Livermore, this is definitely a place worth checking out if you're looking for a good spot downtown to grab some food and a drink.

I almost forgot we had to order first before sitting down lol. I have been on a French Toast kick recently, looking for the best French Toast in the bay. This Ube Stuffed French Toast might have a spot in the top 5. I scarfed this down in like... 10 minutes but it was so good. Ube custard wasn't overwhelming. None of this was overwhelmingly sweet even though it presents itself like a dessert. I have a sweet tooth tho so take that with a grain of salt lol. I only used a little bit of syrup but could've easily went without it. The banana in the middle was perfectly ripe and gave a nice relief of sweet freshness. Toast was thick brioche toast so not the lil flimsy slices of bread. Because this was $22 + tax and tip... I will try to recreate this at home. Their napkins had a nice message on it! Didn't remember seeing that the last time I was at a Denica's. They also have what looks like a kid area with toys? Kid table? Idk I saw it in the corner of my eye but I thought that was cool too. I had a bite of the kalua pork hash and * chefs kiss I would've been happy to order that. My lady really enjoyed the cookie butter latte as well. Will happily come back soon.
