Went here for brunch with some friends and had a great time. This spot is pretty crowded on the weekends so def make sure to get there a bit early. We got the bottomless mimosas and they were delicious! They had a good variety of juice options to choose from and were very quick with refills. The staff were very friendly as well. They don't have too many vegetarian options, but the pancakes and waffles are soo good. A great spot for a girls brunch, and we would def come back!

Visited Monicas on a Sunday for brunch & were not aware of the farmers market, which didn't help with how busy this place got at that time. We arrived at 12:11pm & got seated at 1pm do an FYI for anyone visiting this location on a Sunday. Besides that our server was on it, very attentive, she took our order right away since we knew what we wanted already! She checked in on us frequently despite how busy it was. Our iced coffees were good & our foods were also very delicious. We all were satisfied with the service & food!

Loved this place and atmosphere, for party of 5 on Sunday it was about 45 minute wait, it was nice to be outdoors and having menu of specialties in screen, the portions can be huge, but for mine I got the waffle and it was soooo delicious. I believe its the best waffle i ever had it didn't even need syrup the whip cream was enough, and omg that whip cream was so gooodd like very fresh. The waffles had this yummy taste and nice texture as well as whip cream overall supperrr good.

I was looking for a nice brunch place to try in the area and this place hit the spot! It had a cute ambience outside so I def recommend dining there. The service was great and attentive. I got the huevos rancheros. The huevos rancheros had such a big portion and was super filling. The chicken was juicy, there were 4 eggs and a lot of bean sauce to ring it in! It went well with the tapatio too. I loved the fresh pico de gallo on the side. I had some leftovers to bring home. This would be a nice spot for some mimosas next time :)

Toasted Marshmallow Latte

This place has amazing service and a great variety of food and drinks. The bar area looks awesome. Was not to fond of the chicken fried steak, but the rest of my food especially the lemon ricotta pancakes were especially delicious. Loved the house jam! Will take us a bit to comeback due proximity, but will definitely be back for more of that delicious toasted marshmallow latte.

Excellent chilaquiles. Must add chorizo with an over medium egg. The perfectly ripen avocado. The crème fraiche. The sweet red onions and green sauce l. Every bite came together to a perfect bite. Every time. Then the lemon ricotta pancakes. Wow. Just WOW. Four fluffy thick slices of pancakes made with buttermilk. The lemon curd is to die for, like a lemon bar filling. There was a lot to stuff in my mouth so sharing this with another dish with 2 - 3 people is recommended...unless you're hungry hungry. I don't know why I don't come here more often. This will be my New Year's resolution for 2026.

My family and I visited Monica's on a Sunday during lunch with a party of six (2 adults and 4 kids). It wasn't very crowded, but we still waited about 20 minutes to be seated. To make matters worse, they were out of chicken tenders something we were counting on with kids in our group so that was already a bit disappointing from the start. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. Our food took over an hour to arrive. When it finally came out, the burger was both cold and not at all cooked. After taking a bite, he initially thought the texture was from the lettuce, but quickly realized the center of the Beyond Burger was still frozen. We waited another 20 minutes hoping the issue would be resolved, but by then he had completely lost his appetite. In the end, we paid and left without finishing the meal. Overall, the long wait times, limited menu availability, and poor food quality made for a very disappointing experience especially with kids. I was really hoping for better.

Had brunch here on a Sunday, put my name down for a 45 min wait and walked around the farmers market! Got the huevos ranchero with poached eggs and medium rare steak, a marshmello latte, and my bf got the french dip. We also got french toast to share. The huevos ranchero was delicious! The steak added on was worth it for the amount you get! The steak was perfectly done at medium rare! I really loved the poached eggs! Everything was saucy and delicious. I wish I ate this dish fast enough because the tostada was no longer crunchy in the end! We got the french toast dish to share and it was also lovely! I love a sweet brunch so I had no complaints about this! The marshmello latte was also perfect paired with this brunch! My bf loved his french dip. I don't remember how it tasted so I can't say much about this. Really great place for brunch. Loved the huge covered outdoor seating area with heat lamps! Also very dog friendly! Definitely would come back again and try more drinks next time!

This place was recommended by a friend of mine and have had it in my bookmarks for a while waiting on a weekend that I finally remember to go. We went on a Sunday, around 9am so it was busy but still had plenty of seats outside. It was a very cold and foggy day so I was glad they had plenty of heaters outside to keep us warm. The menu was big so took us some time to decide. I got Roberto's Special and my bf got a classic breakfast. We also got a waffle on the side because my friend was raving about the waffles. Everything was delicious. Our plates were huge, I think I only ate half my food and took it to go. The coffees were good, and the waffles were amazing. The waffles were soft and chewy and had a crunch. Almost like there were sprinkled with granulated sugar on the outside. Next time I think I will be just getting a large stack of waffles and two cups of coffee. I can't wait to go back!

I ordered for pickup and when I got home, they didn't put the lid on the maple syrup so it got all over the egg whites and grilled chicken. Also I asked for ranch and barbecue sauce for my son's chicken strips with fries, they forgot to put any sides of sauce. The young employees at the front need to work on standard greeting for a food establishment. Blank stares as soon as I walk in followed by me saying good morning isn't welcoming at all. We usually enjoy Monica's but the lack of attention to small details ruined 2 of our meals. Very unfortunate.

Horchata (spiked pina colada version)

I found this last minute and recheck reviews were super good so I had to try it. They don't do reservations or yelp waitlist so prepare for a wait. I got there at 1 and for 2 ppl we had a 45 minute wait. It's a lot around so we just walked until they text us for our table. Also if you go on Sunday there is a farmers market that closes at 1. It's right outside of Monica's. Lots of street parking and garages too. Concentrated the service was great. Super quick and full of good recommendations. The drinks were super yummy. The horchata is sooo good and creamy! We got lunch and split it with each other. The club was great. The steak & cheese was good to but a bit fatty. The fries were super good too. I'm glad we went and i would def go back.

Toasted marshmallow latte

Nothing special. I had the, toasted marshmallow latte, tasted more like whole milk than a latte and it was too sweet. I also got the griddle combo, substituted for lemon ricotta pancakes. The pancakes were good, very sweet with the ricotta sauce. A big recommendation. The chicken Apple sausage and bacon was average. The over medium eggs were more over easy and the yolk got on my pancakes. Service was great. The lady was attentive. Ambiance is like an old wooden cabin. Limited indoor seating but out door covered seating there was lots of and heat lamps. I won't be back.

Classic Benedict with Homestyle Potatoes
Michelle L.

Popped in a little after 12:30pm on a Sunday afternoon for a party of 5 and was told that it would be a ~60+ minute wait. Put our name down and walked around the nearby farmer's market to kill some time while we waited. Exactly one hour later, we got a text saying our table was ready! Things I tried: - Classic Benedict - I ordered this but did not really enjoy it lol. I thought the dish overall didn't have much flavor, and although there were some spices and a bit of heat from the potatoes, it was overall a lackluster dish compared to the other benedicts I've had - Chilaquiles - had a bite of my friend's plate and it was tasty but a bit too spicy for us personally - Big A$$ Griddle Combo - the French toast was delicious! Soft and pillowy - Hotty- the garlic fries were really flavorful! Overall a solid brunch place! I'd recommend maybe sticking to the items marked with a red "m" on the menu, since I realize that everything I enjoyed from our table had that in common. Don't live in the area so not sure if I'd come back, but I think it's a pretty good place to eat and chat!

Yes they do! I've done it and so have loads of my friends. And the omelets reheat perfectly!

When does breakfast stop?

Hi! We serve the full menu all day!

What are the weekend hours? Their website, menu, and restaurant does not say. Yelp says they are open until 10 pm on Saturday, but we were turned away before 2:00?

Right now they only serve till 3 pm. I'm not sure what time they open- I think 8 am. They've only been open a few days. I was there on Saturday and I saw a few people not getting seats after 2. They were 45 min behind in the kitchen.

This place seem smaller than the other location in Dublin I think it was. Everything else seems the same though. You get a number after you order at the counter and look for somewhere to seat. Tall stack of ube pancakes, ube sauce, whipped cream, and fruits. It was soo good but it was a lot. I think it is pretty shareable. I would get this again and again when I come back. We also got the avocado toast that came with a side salad that was also pretty good. I remember we got some items from the case too and I think they were also good I just don't remember. You have to wait in the line to place order and then you can take a seat. The Hawaiian influenced cuisine and big portions cannot be beaten by any restaurant in nearby area. We ordered pancakes, Vietnamese iced coffee, keiki pancake, veggie omlette, chicken apple salad sandwich, scrambled eggs and everything was scrumptious. No place to pinpoint something was amiss. The service is quick. Chips and salsa on the house is perfect for hungry bellies. Space is less but the place runs busy on weekends. They have a shared parking lot and it wasn't difficult to find two parkings. It's a typical fast paced American diner but with realistic flavors and portions.

For dinner, I ordered the smash burger, though it wasn't really a traditional smash burger and felt more like a regular burger with two very thick patties. That said, it was still good. The fries were hot and fresh, and our server was very kind. My husband enjoyed his fish tacos. They needed some salsa on the side though, which we asked about but it wasn't spicy. We also noticed they were promoting their upcoming Easter brunch at the time and we were looking for a spot for Easter too. Making an Easter brunch reservation was easy and smooth. The staff member on the phone was helpful and accommodating when we needed to adjust our headcount. We arrived 30 min before our reservation but they were able to seat us which we appreciated. The brunch itself was decent, but I'm not sure I would return for the value. It was a buffet-style brunch that included coffee, tea, and sodas. The prime rib needed a bit more flavor, we didn't see any au jus which would've helped, although it was nice to have a carving station and a made-to-order omelette bar. Some of the hot items were kept in warming trays but were more lukewarm than hot. They advertised waffles, but I didn't initially see any on the buffet, so we asked. A staff member mentioned they had batter available and kindly made fresh waffles for us in the kitchen. They were brought out beautifully topped with strawberries, cinnamon, and whipped cream. When we requested another order, we asked a different server for the same preparation, but the staff member who originally made them was back at his station, so we received a plain waffle instead. When we asked another server for strawberries, he somewhat abruptly and rudely pointed us to the buffet and said there was fruit available over there outside. We checked, but there were no strawberries at that time, so we didn't pursue it further. Later, when we ordered waffles again, there were still none on the buffet. I happened to speak with the same server again (that pointed to the fruit earlier), and he rudely said there were waffles out and we could get them ourselves, but then I told him that there weren't any as I had just come from there, and he acknowledged the issue. It seemed that items were not being consistently monitored or restocked. Unfortunately, the second round of waffles did not come out the same as the first and were missing the strawberries and whipped cream. However, the omelette station cook noticed and kindly brought us whipped cream when he passed by, which we appreciated. Overall, the ham was quite good. The salad selection felt a bit weak and looked wilted, and the dessert area was sparse with items not consistently refilled. The salmon was also slightly dry and could have benefited from more of the cream sauce. Positives: good dinner burger/fries, kind server, easy reservation process for Easter brunch, omelette station cook was very kind, some standout items (first waffles, ham) Negatives: inconsistent service, lukewarm buffet items, missing restocks, dry salmon, weak salad/dessert spread, and uneven guest handling (waffle/fruit issue + staff confusion)

Smaller restaurant with Asian decor. For the food we got the chicken omurice and pad kee mao with chicken. All very good! Chicken omurice: definitely the highlight and seems like one of their more popular dishes. The chicken was flavorful, hot, and has a nice crispy light batter. So good! The rice with egg really complimented the chicken as well. Good flavors and not overwhelming. Highly recommend Pad kee mao: good traditional flavors. It comes mild, so didn't have much of a kick. I don't eat too spicy so that was fine for me. If you prefer more spicy I recommend asking to increase the spicy level. Not the best I've had, but overall good I would definitely come back to try more dishes. Just the chicken omurice alone is enough to bring me back!

We started strong with the truffle tots: crispy, well-seasoned, and topped with Parmesan. The sauce? Genuinely great. No notes there. The chicken omurice was also a win! flavorful, comforting, and exactly what you'd hope for. My daughter's "bear in a blanket" dish was almost too cute to eat, and our server kindly offered complimentary mini pancakes for my toddler (which we didn't even know was a thing). They were adorable and surprisingly good, even without syrup. I also ordered the cloud matcha, which was delicious. Now... the duck Benedict. I'm saving it for last for a reason and not a good one. It was, unfortunately, a complete miss. It lacked flavor in a way that was almost impressive. Like... aggressively bland. The spinach and tomato completely overpowered the duck, and even tasting the duck on its own didn't help. It was giving absolutely nothing. Nothing. I'd honestly suggest pulling it from the menu until improvements can be made. Overall, I'd return for everything except the duck Benedict. Hard pass on that one.
