Now, that being said, if you're lucky enough to snag a seat at their six seat bar on the left side when you walk in, that's first come first served and they offer the full menu there. The staff were friendly, attentive, and our food came out in about 15 min. The restaurant was also very clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. Ordered their seasonal latte (banana cream) and it just tasted like milk and stevia :/ The waitress remade it and it tasted exactly the same but in a bear cup The waffle is way too sweet and super dough-y. My family and I visited Monica's on a Sunday during lunch with a party of six (2 adults and 4 kids). It wasn't very crowded, but we still waited about 20 minutes to be seated. To make matters worse, they were out of chicken tenders something we were counting on with kids in our group so that was already a bit disappointing from the start. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. Our food took over an hour to arrive. When it finally came out, the burger was both cold and not at all cooked. After taking a bite, he initially thought the texture was from the lettuce, but quickly realized the center of the Beyond Burger was still frozen. We waited another 20 minutes hoping the issue would be resolved, but by then he had completely lost his appetite. In the end, we paid and left without finishing the meal. Okay, this place gets super packed on a Saturday morning so all I gotta say is planned accordingly. I love their choice of dish names like Big Ass French Toast. I was like "How big ass is it?" Haha. At least that's what manager Melissa told us.
