    Avo and Egg Toastini

So on our way to SF this weekend we stopped in Livermore for a quick bite. We found this place, nice ambience downtown, and had easy parking close. For brunch my wife had the avocado toast, she absolutely loved it. I had the ham cheese and pickles...Now, if you love pickles, like I do...this is for you. If not, do not get. But for me, I loved my sandwich and loved the pickles. For drinks we got some lemonades, mine regular, my wife lavender. So refreshing...we want to come back to try the other items, since we pass through ever so often we will try. Def recommend.

Came by for lunch with friends. the staff was helpful in putting together a table for us all outside, it was so nice that day but it ended up being too much of a hassle b/c some of us would've been out in the sun even w/the umbrellas so we were able to snag the large table in the back, inside. I enjoyed my sandwich, the food is delicious. It's a nice casual spot, you go up and order at the counter, then they bring your food to you.

We came here for brunch post yoga. While the line seems long, it moves pretty fast so don't be alarmed! We were worried about seating, but people are pretty respectful and leave when they're done eating. I appreciated the little fly fan deterrents that were placed on the tables. Overall, the food is good and aesthetic. Can't wait to come back!

Solid 4! I definitely like this location better than Pleasanton. Less crowded and just as delicious! Still, very lively - so many people were there. Great place to meet friends for brunch. Their weekend brunch menu was a nice surprise - ordered the monte cristo and I swear I inhaled my food. Hard to find parking but worth it when you do. A nice staple in Livermore

It was busy at the weekend. We enjoyed our brunch there! The Chia bowl tastes great. Good latte ~

The Press is a cute little artisan cafe in downtown Livermore. I ordered a cold brew with a splash of almond milk + the turkey pesto panini. The cold brew was great! The turkey pesto panini was good, but was more on the lighter side in terms of overall taste. I think it would have been better if paired with a side of tomato soup to dip it in. I came on a weekday so there was easy street parking and no wait, but by the time I left there was a line out the door. They do bring your order to your chosen table and also clear it afterwards.

On our drive to San Francisco we stopped by Livermore to have lunch. I found The Press on Yelp, it had some good reviews. The coffee was delicious so was the gluten free donut but the sandwiches we ordered we weren't too thrilled about them. I got a breakfast Sammy with sausage but the sausage tasted weird and I didn't like the tomato jam on it. I should have said to not use it. My husband got a ham and cheese grilled sandwich and said it was ok. Not great but not bad either. Location is good, ambiance is good and customer service is good. Friendly and attentive staff. Overall an ok love to eat when in the area.

Cute Spot with Great Drinks and Friendly Service We stopped by The Press and enjoyed the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. There's seating both inside and outside -- we chose to sit outdoors, which was really cute and relaxing. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and guided us through the menu with great recommendations. I had the avocado + egg, which was fresh but would've been better with a poached egg instead of hard boiled, and a little more citrus for balance. The caramel latte was delicious -- probably my favorite part! The affogato was also tasty, but the ice cream-to-coffee ratio felt off -- there was so much ice cream I had to eat some just to pour the coffee in. My husband had the peach summer melt panini and loved the flavors, but it was a bit bread-heavy, with two slices in the middle that didn't have any filling between them. Overall, it's a charming spot with creative options, delicious drinks, and a staff that really makes you feel welcome. Just a few tweaks and it would be an easy go-to!

The best caramel latte I've had yet! Super yummy and strong. You can taste the creamy espresso shots

Hands down... best sandwich ever!! The bee sting had no buisness being that good! Fresh fruit hit the spot on a hot day. Friendly staff as well! A new favorite spot. Cute inside and out!

We love visiting The Press, and the Livermore location is hands-down our favorite -- it's nestled right in the heart of downtown, which gives it a much better vibe compared to the Pleasanton spot tucked into a market plaza with views of the parking lot. This visit did not disappoint -- everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. We tried the Albacore Protein Salad, which featured Hobbs wild-caught tuna salad, baby arugula, a Burroughs farm egg, radish, carrot/cabbage slaw, tomato, onion sprouts, and a lemon pepper vinaigrette. It was super fresh and perfectly balanced -- light but satisfying. The Beet & Quinoa Salad was equally impressive with organic arugula, red and golden beets, quinoa, a seed medley, Laura Chenel goat cheese, and a side of house balsamic vinaigrette. The flavors were bright and earthy with just the right touch of sweetness from the orange segments. We also shared the Turkey Pesto Panini on Acme organic wholewheat sourdough -- Hobbs nitrite-free roast turkey, tomato, provolone, brie, house pesto, and aioli. It was absolutely fabulous -- warm, melty, and full of flavor. And for the sweet finish -- my son devoured the seasonal blueberry mochi pancakes. They were fluffy, warm, lightly sweet, and had that delightful chewy texture that only mochi brings. The food and service were both too good -- friendly, fast, and welcoming. We'll definitely be coming back to this location again and again!

Great little spot. 5 minute walk from the train station. Visited during the holidays and decor is very festive. Food was great. Toast a little hard so it was difficult to eat with fork and knife, but no problem holding those tasty babies. #spicemeister approved.

High quality ingredient array of drinks and everything is just so fresh. Breakfast tacos, yogurt bowl, and the turkey Reuben are my favorites. The ambiance is also nice. Friendly staff.

This place seem smaller than the other location in Dublin I think it was. Everything else seems the same though. You get a number after you order at the counter and look for somewhere to seat. Tall stack of ube pancakes, ube sauce, whipped cream, and fruits. It was soo good but it was a lot. I think it is pretty shareable. I would get this again and again when I come back. We also got the avocado toast that came with a side salad that was also pretty good. I remember we got some items from the case too and I think they were also good I just don't remember. The only draw back to the place is it does get pretty busy especially in the weekends, and it is pretty pricey. Overall still a must visit!

You have to wait in the line to place order and then you can take a seat. The Hawaiian influenced cuisine and big portions cannot be beaten by any restaurant in nearby area. We ordered pancakes, Vietnamese iced coffee, keiki pancake, veggie omlette, chicken apple salad sandwich, scrambled eggs and everything was scrumptious. No place to pinpoint something was amiss. The service is quick. Chips and salsa on the house is perfect for hungry bellies. Space is less but the place runs busy on weekends. They have a shared parking lot and it wasn't difficult to find two parkings. It's a typical fast paced American diner but with realistic flavors and portions.

For dinner, I ordered the smash burger, though it wasn't really a traditional smash burger and felt more like a regular burger with two very thick patties. That said, it was still good. The fries were hot and fresh, and our server was very kind. My husband enjoyed his fish tacos. They needed some salsa on the side though, which we asked about but it wasn't spicy. We also noticed they were promoting their upcoming Easter brunch at the time and we were looking for a spot for Easter too. Making an Easter brunch reservation was easy and smooth. The staff member on the phone was helpful and accommodating when we needed to adjust our headcount. We arrived 30 min before our reservation but they were able to seat us which we appreciated. The brunch itself was decent, but I'm not sure I would return for the value. It was a buffet-style brunch that included coffee, tea, and sodas. The prime rib needed a bit more flavor, we didn't see any au jus which would've helped, although it was nice to have a carving station and a made-to-order omelette bar. Some of the hot items were kept in warming trays but were more lukewarm than hot. They advertised waffles, but I didn't initially see any on the buffet, so we asked. A staff member mentioned they had batter available and kindly made fresh waffles for us in the kitchen. They were brought out beautifully topped with strawberries, cinnamon, and whipped cream. When we requested another order, we asked a different server for the same preparation, but the staff member who originally made them was back at his station, so we received a plain waffle instead. When we asked another server for strawberries, he somewhat abruptly and rudely pointed us to the buffet and said there was fruit available over there outside. We checked, but there were no strawberries at that time, so we didn't pursue it further. Later, when we ordered waffles again, there were still none on the buffet. I happened to speak with the same server again (that pointed to the fruit earlier), and he rudely said there were waffles out and we could get them ourselves, but then I told him that there weren't any as I had just come from there, and he acknowledged the issue. It seemed that items were not being consistently monitored or restocked. Unfortunately, the second round of waffles did not come out the same as the first and were missing the strawberries and whipped cream. However, the omelette station cook noticed and kindly brought us whipped cream when he passed by, which we appreciated. Overall, the ham was quite good. The salad selection felt a bit weak and looked wilted, and the dessert area was sparse with items not consistently refilled. The salmon was also slightly dry and could have benefited from more of the cream sauce. Positives: good dinner burger/fries, kind server, easy reservation process for Easter brunch, omelette station cook was very kind, some standout items (first waffles, ham) Negatives: inconsistent service, lukewarm buffet items, missing restocks, dry salmon, weak salad/dessert spread, and uneven guest handling (waffle/fruit issue + staff confusion)

Smaller restaurant with Asian decor. For the food we got the chicken omurice and pad kee mao with chicken. All very good! Chicken omurice: definitely the highlight and seems like one of their more popular dishes. The chicken was flavorful, hot, and has a nice crispy light batter. So good! The rice with egg really complimented the chicken as well. Good flavors and not overwhelming. Highly recommend Pad kee mao: good traditional flavors. It comes mild, so didn't have much of a kick. I don't eat too spicy so that was fine for me. If you prefer more spicy I recommend asking to increase the spicy level. Not the best I've had, but overall good I would definitely come back to try more dishes. Just the chicken omurice alone is enough to bring me back!

We started strong with the truffle tots: crispy, well-seasoned, and topped with Parmesan. The sauce? Genuinely great. No notes there. The chicken omurice was also a win! flavorful, comforting, and exactly what you'd hope for. My daughter's "bear in a blanket" dish was almost too cute to eat, and our server kindly offered complimentary mini pancakes for my toddler (which we didn't even know was a thing). They were adorable and surprisingly good, even without syrup. I also ordered the cloud matcha, which was delicious. Now... the duck Benedict. I'm saving it for last for a reason and not a good one. It was, unfortunately, a complete miss. It lacked flavor in a way that was almost impressive. Like... aggressively bland. The spinach and tomato completely overpowered the duck, and even tasting the duck on its own didn't help. It was giving absolutely nothing. Nothing. I'd honestly suggest pulling it from the menu until improvements can be made. Overall, I'd return for everything except the duck Benedict. Hard pass on that one.
