We came here for the first time and loved it! It's a huge space with ample seating. There's complimentary coffee, chips & salsa, some sort of tea/juice, and spa water. This is unheard of in South Bay! The pink guava pancakes were super fluffy, flavorful, and not too sweet. The strawberries were super sweet and such a good addition. We went on a weekend morning, I think around 10am. It was busy, long lines, but it didn't feel too long because we were too busy looking at what to get. This place seem smaller than the other location in Dublin I think it was. Everything else seems the same though. You get a number after you order at the counter and look for somewhere to seat. You also take this opportunity to grab your drink, utensils, and chips and salsa. Food was served right after. Ube pancakes - Delicious. Tall stack of ube pancakes, ube sauce, whipped cream, and fruits. It was soo good but it was a lot. I think it is pretty shareable. I would get this again and again when I come back. We also got the avocado toast that came with a side salad that was also pretty good. I remember we got some items from the case too and I think they were also good I just don't remember. I have been here several times over the years and super surprised I have yet to review it! Over the years, I have tried the chicken salad sandwich, chilaquiles, ube pancakes, and a banana glazed french toast. Everything mentioned above has always been a 20/10 without ever leaving dissatisfied. Parking is a little limited, dog friendly patio, and very friendly staff. They do offer a Keiki (kids) menu which is just the right service size for the littles. They do also offer some Mexican dishes as well; ie. chiliquiles. Plenty of other traditional breakfast and lunch options as well. There's also "help your self" chips and salsa. Food came out pretty quick but it was in to go boxes when we clearly stated that we were dining inside. Then had to repeat our order since I'm not sure what happened. My husband got the chorizo burrito and I got the Noah G green burrito. The ingredients in the burrito are very fresh. My Noah G green burrito had so much flavor that I did not need to eat it with sauce. My husband enjoyed his chorizo burrito. Ordered a few items to get a taste of the island here in the mainland. The loco moco, the macadamia pancakes, an ube latte, and churro waffle to name a few. I loved the sauce on the macadamia pancakes. It literally took me back to the boots and kimo restaurant in Hawaii. Their pancake on the other hand was a little too dense for me. They were extremely thick and had almost a raw texture. It may have been from the banana that was mixed in with the batter. The sauce great, the pancake itself wasn't my favorite. The churro waffle wasn't as churro-y as I thought it was going to be. It was slightly dusted with cinnamon to give it that umph. The loco moco was probably my favorite dish. I have tried Denica's in Castro Valley and now the one in Livermore. I met some good friends here on Sunday and a friend suggested we come here, I am so glad we did! The parking is a little tight due to how many people come here. It's located right off of 580 so it's pretty easy to find. The restaurant is pretty big and there is outside sitting areas which is really nice! The only negative I can say is the way you have to order before sitting down, the pressure of choosing what you want with such a great menu is just too hard, but doable :) The service was great and the food took a little time to come out but it was definitely worth it. We also love that they make their salsa and chips fresh and have them available for you to get as much as you like while you're dining.
