If you want that laid back vibe, an extensive menu, and wickedly delicious pancakes, Denica's is going to be your jam. When you come in, grab a menu and order at the counter. The hostess will give you a number so you can pick your seat. We ordered: ube latte with two shots of espresso, orange juice, guava pancakes, the 100 chille egg benedict, and Niko's 2 great breakfast. Food--hands down delicious. Everything you'd expect to be good was solid. What I couldn't get over was how decadent and moist the guava pancakes were. The whipped cream and fruit on top made it look like a literal cake. Easily my fave thing from this meal. We want to try the ube pancakes next time which also looked amazing.

We went on a weekend morning, I think around 10am. It was busy, long lines, but it didn't feel too long because we were too busy looking at what to get. This place seem smaller than the other location in Dublin I think it was. Everything else seems the same though. You get a number after you order at the counter and look for somewhere to seat. You also take this opportunity to grab your drink, utensils, and chips and salsa. Food was served right after. Ube pancakes - Delicious. Tall stack of ube pancakes, ube sauce, whipped cream, and fruits. It was soo good but it was a lot. I think it is pretty shareable. I would get this again and again when I come back. We also got the avocado toast that came with a side salad that was also pretty good. I remember we got some items from the case too and I think they were also good I just don't remember. The only draw back to the place is it does get pretty busy especially in the weekends, and it is pretty pricey. Overall still a must visit!

I highly recommend this place. Overall my experience was great, my only problem is that my chilaquiles were soggy instead of crunchy. My gf loved her food too, but the Ube pancakes were overcooked. I would still come back but not to order the same thing. My gf really enjoyed herself regardless. Here's a few pictures of what we ate. Also the service was ok, and the ambiance was nice.

I have been here several times over the years and super surprised I have yet to review it! Over the years, I have tried the chicken salad sandwich, chilaquiles, ube pancakes, and a banana glazed french toast. Everything mentioned above has always been a 20/10 without ever leaving dissatisfied. Parking is a little limited, dog friendly patio, and very friendly staff. I also love that they leave out testers of all their cookies in case you want to purchase any bakery item. Very well worth it! I would come here again in a heartbeat at any time.

It's always a 10/10 every time we go to Denicas. Place has a lot of seating and variety Hawaiian/American mixed food. You order at the counter then find a seat. They have self serve chips, salsa, infused water, soda water, and iced tea. They also have train station kids toys as well as a photo booth to take pictures. Salsas are always good and fresh as well as the chips. I ordered the Molokai special with chicken and crispy edged fried egg. 10/10! The chicken was seasoned well and very crispy. Fried rice was delicious and had a savory sauce on top. Eggs were cooked perfect. This place never disappoints. On top of their savory options they also have a lot of sweet options. I'd also recommended the ube pancakes. They never fail to disappoint.

This place is my to go spot for cookies and packages. The food is wholesome and the feels like a family kitchen. All of their servings are generous. Pancakes are large and fluffy. Burritos are huge and one burrito can feed 2 adults. It feels like a diner but it closes at 2pm. Maybe this is why the staff is always happy and energetic.

Visited my sis in law in Hayward and she said we had to check this place out and I am so happy she did. Friendly staff, huge portions and complimentary hibiscus tea is my kind of scene. Hubs and I shared the kaluha pork hash and the mochico chicken and waffles. Our friends ordered a cookie dough waffle and guava pancakes for the table. The affle had baked cookie nits in the waffle and topped with nutella, richness! I love tropical flavors so the guava pancakes were a delight. The hash was good, but my favorite was the mochiko fried chicken. I took my half home for leftovers, and it was even better cold. I also took a guava pastelito to go. Oh man so flaky and flavorful. it took me back to my island childhood. it's good thing we don't live close by, or this would be dangerous! Our friends brough their dogs and they were so happy on the patio.

That was absolutely delicious! Service was good, you walk up and place your order and pay, before you sit down. The ambience is chill and bright. If you want a good & fast breakfast, this is the spot!

Just had a great brunch. Nothing is better than eating at a wonderful restaurant with both great consistent food and service every time. I only wish they had the prime rib option during the weekdays as well :)

Stopped by their Livermore location on a Friday with a friend. I've been wanting to try this place for a while now, but the wait has always been so long - but that's a good thing right? Food: so so so good! All of their locations have always been good, and Livermore was no exception. I ordered their loco moco, my friend had the breakfast sandwich and we shared chocolate chip pancakes , 10/10!! Service: always great! There is no server - you walk through the line, order and then they bring it out. All of the workers were polite and kind. Overall: Great!! Very homey vibe and delicious food. Love the Hawaiian theme dishes they have! I will absolutely be back!

In the Liver of More (Livermore) never did I ever think that Livermore had any type of "authentic" food until I stumbled across Denica's. The slogan of the owner is " Fast food is not good and good food is not fast! I read that after I ate the food and it's the truth. Denica's Real Food Kitchen is the move! I'm talkin' REAL food that'll have you saying "dang, I wasn't ready for that!" I slid through with the family just tryna get a simple breakfast and walked out lowkey changed. I ordered the French toast with eggs and sausage, and let me tell you right now: THE FRENCH TOAST TASTES LIKE A CINNAMON ROLL HAD A BABY WITH A CLOUD AND THEY NAMED IT 'GLORY.' You don't even need the syrup, it's that good. But if you're feeling like I did... drizzle that syrup and feed your inner child. Now let's talk about this watermelon juice. I was skeptical--thought it was gonna be either too sweet or taste like watermelon-flavored sadness. But nah. It was fresh, clean, and just the right amount of sweet to make me feel like I was sitting under a palm tree in a linen shirt. (It's watermelon syrup ,but still good nonetheless) They got a whole salsa station with tortilla chips just chilln, for free with your order. The salas were smackin fasho. Customer service was on point. The staff was all smiles, answered all questions that were asked and just made the whole vibe feel warm and welcome like they were genuinely happy we pulled up. I forgot to mentioned I got coerced into buying cookies (chocolate chip and peanut butter) that were freshly baked and hella good. Denica's Real Food Kitchen is where REAL ONES go to eat REAL FOOD. I'll be back... fasho

Loco Moco, Ube Cookie and Lavender White Mocha
    Berlyn D.

I've been wanting to go here and luckily my interview place was nearby. I ordered loco moco, the patty was huge portion and the rice too; sauce taste great not salty. Patty was very juicy and rice cook right. Great quality of food! I got Ube crinkle, favorites! It was a big amount too, not too sweet just right. I can taste the Ube! Tried new drink lavender white mocha, I can taste the lavender and it not that strong. It was Great food! I definitely come back to try other food options. The service is great, you order and pay and staff checks on the customers even thought I sat outside. Great customer service! The place looks clean, a lots of tables inside and outside!

Denica's never disappoints. They provide consistent, delicious meals with 5 star presentations. There is something for everyone on the menu. It's pretty pricey, so we come for a special occasion as opposed to regularly. Be sure to pick up their double chocolate chip and Ube cookies for later. They are delicious!
