UGH! I went to 3 different dealerships, one sleazier than the next. They left me sitting at a table and disappeared each time I asked a question. Even my kids picked up on the creepy vibe...There was no transparency in their pricing or how they communicated. They couldn't justify their pricing and put enornous pressure on me. It was very undignified and stressful. I RAN back to Don Ringler as fast as I could!! With Corey, my entire experience was 100% transparent, honest and without pressure. He was a total gentleman and answered all my questions. I should have finalized the transaction during my first visit with him, but felt I should "shop around." Let me save you the trouble...Don Ringler Toyota and Corey are above board, transparent and sell a great product in a totally dignified and extremely accomodating manner. The finanace coordinator was also fantastic! Just an all around great dealership. I am most appreciative. I think you will be too! I had concerns re: an initial quote for a part on a malfunctioning electronics component of my automobile and decided to take my business elsewhere, after my initial query re: the quote was dismissed by an employee in the service/parts department. To my surprise and their credit, I received calls from both the GM, Bruce Wertz and the service manager apologizing for the error made and seeking to remedy the situation in an equitable manner. I found both men to be forthcoming and reasonable with their explanations for the error and appreciate their motivation to provide a superior level of service. This kind of accountability is rare in my experience and speaks to the leadership of the business. Kudos all around for working to remedy the situation quickly and professionally. It's gratifying to know there remain dealerships that emphasize the importance of building and maintaining client relationships through ethical business practices and straightforward communication. read more

After many years and quite a few Toyota Cars, we are giving up on Don Ringler and Toyota Motors entirely. Our last car was a Toyota Camry, and we specifically asked for leather seats. Our previous car was also a Camry, bought at Don Ringler, and came with leather seats, which we loved, and when the time came to sell it, we actually got the same price we bought it for! This latest, though, after one year, the "leather" was cracking and peeling! It isn't leather! The seating surface is, but the sides are all vinyl! We paid for leather! The dealership first said they would fix it, but that has made it even worse! The seats now make an otherwise attractive car look old and worn out! It's just plain ugly. When we told them that this wasn't good enough, they flatly refuse to do anything more about it! Not only am I done with Don Ringler, from whom I have bought four cars and two full size Chevy Pickups, but I am done with Toyota as well! Let the buyer beware! They sell you something, but give you something else entirely! read more

I want to start by saying thank you to the Don Ringler team and especially Tony Williams. I actually went to multiple dealerships, and Don Ringler was my last stop. But the experience I had at Don Ringlers is the reason that a bought. I went to a couple dealerships down the road, I am young, was dressed in shorts and a t shirt, and at the first dealership I struggle to even get someone to acknowledge that I was there. At the second they would not let me test drive a new car, and at the third they sent a couple people who had only been at the company for two days and couldn't even actually sell a car if they tried. I was preapproved through my bank for 40k at 2%, but I did not want to tell them that just to get them to pay attention to me, that's not how it should work. When I got to Don Ringler it was closed, and although a Toyota wasn't my first choice, there was one truck that I really liked and wanted to test drive. So I left my email on there website asking for a test drive and Tony emailed my right away. I met him the next week (I was traveling for work), and Tony was super cool. He didn't judge me cause I'm in my early 20's trying to buy a new truck. He respected everything I had to say, he understood my knowledge of the truck, and he was patient when I needed a couple seconds to think. Not only that, but when I told him I was pre approved for well over the truck was worth, he didn't try to haggle me for more. He still negotiated the price down and fought hard for me to get the deal I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. I even bought the warranty because of him and the friendliness and kindness he showed. We joked about some football, but at the end of the day, him showing me respect, humility, and kindness is why I chose to buy the truck even though it was not my first choice. With that I even spent a little more on a warranty I don't think I'll use because of him. To be honest, it's worth it to me to have the relationship that he built with me and be able to refer back to him every time I have a question or a concern. Multiple times since I've bought my truck I have emailed or called Tony and he always treats me like a top priority, even though I already bought my truck. I had a question about getting a tow-wire harness put on and he dove right in to getting it done. I had questions about getting a scratch from a shopping cart out and he took care of me right away. He's been an incredible salesperson to work with ( I should know, I am actually an Area Sales/Project Manager for a well known company). When I buy a new truck, if Tony is around it will only be from him. When my future wife needs to replace her old SUV, it will only be from him. I don't care if it's in 5-10 years, I'll drive a few extra miles to get that service again. read more

I bought a used car from this dealership and the clutch broke 3 months after I bought it. I paid more for this car than the market value and drove over an hour to reach the dealership, based on the good reviews. This is a $1000 repair and is highly frustrating. After speaking with my salesman and the managers there, I was treated rudely. The managers had absolutely no sympathy and said they assumed no responsibility for the repair. I will never return to this dealership and I sincerely hope that other customers be wary when buying a used car from this company. read more

My Toyota needed the airbags replaced under a recall so I took it to the ringler service dept. The service staff was rude, argumentative, and dismissive and I will do everything in my power to make sure everyone I know never goes there. read more

The dealership is okay. You can find deals if you look for them. But do not get a service package. Their customer service is sub-par. The parts come in with no notice. The wait is longer than what they quote. They barely acknowledge you. Just not a good experience overall. read more

This trip was for service on a used Nissan, Donnie and his team took incredible care of me and my truck. We made it clear from the start that in order to make a deal, we needed between $4000 and $4500 cash back in order to pay for a new engine for our daughter's car at another dealership. My wife and I were told that we would receive $4500 cash back from our trade-in, with the remaining $2500 going towards the down payment on my new 2012 Toyota Prius C. When I went in to pick up the check, the check was for $2500, not the promised $4500, and I subsequently learned that they had applied $4500 as the down payment in order to get approved financing. At no time was this explained to us, either before we signed the papers or during the signing. In fact, when we showed up to finalize the deal, the salesperson said we were getting $4500 cash back. The only indication we ever had that there was any problem obtaining financing before we went in to finalize the deal was when a salesperson called me the previous day to tell me we did not qualify for the Toyota financing option that would have given us an additional $1000 rebate for my recent college graduation when I earned my Masters degree. Now we are left with a $4500+ repair bill and only $2500 to pay. When I confronted one of the managers about this, I was basically told that the deal was done, and there was nothing they could do to help me. I feel a bit like George Bailey, except that I'm not planning to jump off a bridge. I do not feel that this dealership will "do whatever it takes", as their slogan states, to make the customer happy. I feel that we were misled during the final process when we were signing the papers. Whether this was intentional or not, we had a verbal understanding that was violated, and this does not seem to me to be an ethical way to conduct business. If they made an honest mistake and admitted it, I can forgive that, and I would trust them to try to make things right. They have not done so. I should add that the two gentlemen in finance with who we have dealt have been sympathetic and apologetic regarding the incident, although no one has yet admitted outright that they made a mistake. And if I learn that someone there intentionally switched the down payment and refund amounts and tried to keep this information from me until after the signing, that I do not forgive. They get one star because I can't give zero, and because the sales staff were quite helpful during the negotiation process. Nevertheless, I will never do business there again. read more

My salesperson, Don Cowden, was especially gracious and helpful in getting me a good trade in deal, and finding a vehicle which met my requirements regarding options and colors. At the point of delivery, he also made a point of explaining all the features of my new car, making sure I understood how everything worked, and has continued to be available for questions or concerns I might have. Although my first purchase, also with Don, was a cash deal, this time I opted for a 36 month finance, which also went well, and I was offered acceptable terms first off and the process was smooth and problem free. My husband called and who ever answered the phone said no appt need for service and they opened at 7. we got there on saturday and the sign said open at 8. Okay we waited for the service to open. At 8am were went inside and spoke to Cliffe. He more or less called my husband a lier saying he did not call there. So I asked for a appt for the following saturday. he said none was available. so i asked for the next sat. same thing. He never looked at us and kept chewing on his tooth pick. He seemed very arragant. My husband left out the door angry. I asked for his name before he stormed off and he leaned over got his card and shoved it in my face. I commented then to him Why are you so rude? I was embarrased because we did not deserve to be treated like that. There were other people in ther that heard him. we drove to the other side to the Chevrolet dealership and David the sales manager and Eddie the service manager were so very helpful and took care of us with smiles. I recently took my Tundra into this establishment and received horrible service. The person at the desk was rude right off the bat. That was at 0730, I can understand not being a morning person but if you're in direct contact with customers, control it. I picked up my truck when I got off at 1700 and had to deal with the same person. I thought by then he would be out of his AM slump, but no! He was ruder and more unprofessional than that morning. When I gave him the key that morning, I didn't give him the fob. When I was picking up the truck he very belligerently stated " where's the other part of the keys so I can find it". I had to bite my lip because I wanted to ask him if he was too stupid to look at the tag in the window to find it. When he finally brought the truck back and he opened the door, the music was full blast! I was highly perturbed. I've taken the truck to multiple other Toyota dealers for warranty service and have never had any of them do such worthless service. Evidently they don't believe in customer service. All the other service centers even washed the vehicle, but not this illustrious establishment. Well needless to say I will never use their service department again and I advise others to go elsewhere! I gave them 1 star but I honestly only rate them at a 1/4 of a star!!!!! read more
