Had some veggie rolls here the other day and cheese sticks. Cheese sticks were tempura'd on top of it and came with a funny sauce. The tempura was given to me in forms of roles and was not what i asked for and didn't taste like tempura .. but the lady was so nice and polite so i let it go

Great food and staff. Go for the all you can eat offer for $50. I recommend starting your dinner early because at night it turns into a bar vibe. The sushi rolls were wonderful to eat. Pro hack is you can ask the sushi chef to turn any role into a hand roll. My only complaint is that the tuna was a bit frozen and watery. It looked too pink for me when it really should be a darker red color. I wished they served tea as well. My favorites were the salmon, scallops eel, and Uni with all high-quality. The chicken kaarage was great too.

The owner may ask to take your photo to add it to a collage. It makes you feel welcome.

I have visited this restaurant twice, and each visit was incredibly delicious. I'll be visiting many more times in the future as they might serve the best sushi I have ever tasted. The service is excellent as well. Tonight I found myself using the Shazam APP to save several of the songs that were playing in the restaurant. If you are ever in the area, do yourself a favor and visit Marina Sushi Bar. You will not be disappointed! 我喜欢这家餐厅。服务非常好,食物也令人印象深刻。

Their sushi was ok and the service was fine. I really wanted to try their rice cake skewers but they were sold out unfortunately.

Really enjoyed the sushi (salmon and spicy tuna) and vegetable ramen. The sever was very nice and attentive.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, the service is excellent, the noodles are chewy, the broth is rich, and the flavor is wonderful. The other dishes are also great. I'll definitely go back next time.

This is my favorite place to have dinner with friends, the young staff welcomed us and ensured each part of our experience would be pleasant and enjoyable. A nice place to have drink! We can order any music there, The food was fresh and delicious. I see they will offer AYCE!!

    7. Fried Oyster 8. Takoyaki Highly recommend these small dishes, super tasty and fresh. The takoyaki tastes exactly what I had in Japan.

Highly recommend the grilled eggplant, whether you're a die-hard eggplant fan or a first-time taster, this dish is sure to become a new favorite. Love their service, such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home.

$6 for two orders of the happy hour Cali roll (4 pcs each)

I can't exactly give five stars because all I ate were two $3 orders of happy hour California rolls (4 pcs each) which you really cannot mess up (unless you are Whole Foods, they make Cali rolls all sorts of wrong), happy hour seaweed salad ($3), and a good amount of sake & Sapporo. However, this basic food that I ordered was very fresh and tasty! I came in on a Friday night. Happy hour on Friday goes until 7pm which is pretty solid. I'm a fan already. When we arrived around 5:30pm, the place was empty and very quiet. But after an hour or two, this place was bumping! By bumping, I mean PACKED with huge parties doing sake bombs. It was a little bit "ratchet," but I fully enjoyed the entertainment. That being said, if you want a quiet dinner with your significant other, arrive early because otherwise this probably isn't your place. The inside decor is nothing special. It looks a little worn down like the rest of SF, with little photos of happy customers at their tables all over the walls. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food given the stories I'd been told about how people come here to get a little crazy with the sake. From my experience, alcohol heavy restaurants rarely have good food. Marina Sushi is different. I would happily return to try out some more rolls in the future.

This sushi was pretty affordable for the city. They are open for take out and the staff was very friendly. Both of my rolls were very fresh and tasty. I can't wait to go back and try more!

The salmon nigiri was not bad. The rolls were very middle of the road and the miso soup was super salty. Wasn't worth the price.

Been here a couple of times already and the service never failed. Even came here during the Cherry Blossom Festival and the staff were still friendly / accommodating. They even put a spicy sauce on the side of one of the katsu plates when we mentioned that my dad couldn't handle all that haha. This cozy spot mainly focuses on katsu plates, but I like how they had off menu or specials to choose from if you'd like another option. I will say though them katsu plates were just chef's kiss. The meat is pounded thin enough where it's still juicy and tender, but doesn't affect the exterior from being crunchy and a bit flaky. Nothing was dry here yallll! I also like how it already comes with miso soup and salad. Huge fan of that Hamachi Truffle special though. Think of a citrusy flavor from the ponzu, fresh fish, a bit of micro greens, and a thin slice of jalapeño that just ~works~ on a cute wooden spoon that you want to steal I could honestly eat like 5 spoons of this. I'd skip on the calamari as it was kind of skimpy to share with a large group. Only note was that their fried katsu curry was a bit underwhelming with having more slices of carrots than potato! Would love to come back if I am ever in the area.

I recommend the strawberry matcha (10/10) for first-timers. My boyfriend got the mango matcha (9/10) and that was also delicious as well - great flavoring with the mango purée! I think the matcha here is one of the best because the strawberry milk is creamy and flavorful, but doesn't overpower the matcha. They put the perfect amount of matcha, which mixes in well with the rest of the drink without losing the matcha taste. Even when the ice melts into the drink, the matcha does not lose its taste and creaminess. I love that this store sells sushi bento boxes as well. I got the salmon in truffle soy bento (9/10) and it was so good! The salmon was flavored perfectly with the truffle oil and their house made yuzu soy sauce. The deep fried corn was surprisingly really flavorful (it was my favorite side in the bento). They also had another sides including potato salad, bean sprouts, cherry tomatoes, and pickled cucumbers, which were really good additions to the bento as well. Great portion size for 1 person! Overall, my experience with the food at Komeya No Bento was amazing, and I have no complaints. The workers were really nice, answered all our questions and gave good recommendations, and our drinks came out quick! It's a really small and quiet shop with a couple seats to wait and eat, but it is such a nightmare trying to find parking in the area... but it's really worth it! I finally got to try the salmon in truffle soy and it was SO delicious. The salmon was so smooth and I loved the truffle soy taste. The rice was also cooked so well, I liked how sticky it was. I got the box one with ikura, and I loved how that tasted too. The box also came with sides, and my favorites were the crispy sweet potato and grilled corn rib :p Will 100% be getting this again! As for the matcha, it was unfortunately underwhelming. I did get the iced matcha straight with no sugar, but the matcha powder was sooo grainy and clumpy at the bottom. It tasted like it wasn't mixed in well. Maybe I'll try one of the lattes next time with some sugar. A pretty small store, but a lot of people do just take out, so it wasn't too difficult to get a spot inside to eat. The workers all seem very sweet despite how chaotic the store could get.

For $18, you get an incredible spread: * your choice of gyoza, shumai, or tofu * a California roll or avocado roll * a protein of your choice Plus it all comes with edamame, miso soup, and seaweed salad. Honestly? That's my kind of deal. Everything we tried was delicious. In addition to the lunch box, we ordered a dragon roll and a dynamite roll, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done. My husband went with the Una Ten Donburi. It was tasty, but at $30, it did feel a bit steep compared to the rest of the menu. The restaurant looked like your typical Japanese style space with the sushi rollers at the entrance and simple tables and decor. I do have two minor negatives worth mentioning. First, the edamame was cold and unsalted. I'm an edamame lover, and nothing beats it hot, freshly steamed, and generously showered in salt. So that was a little disappointing. Second, our server (I believe his name was Kayz) seemed visibly annoyed when we asked to split the check. As a server myself, I know this isn't rocket science, and guests should never be made to feel uncomfortable for something so standard, especially after there had already been a small mix-up with our roll order (we received two dynamite rolls instead of one dynamite and one dragon). We didn't make a fuss at the time because mistakes happen, but the attitude at the end definitely stood out. That said, the food itself was solid, the lunch special is a fantastic value, and overall we still had a good experience. I would absolutely return and would recommend this spot, just hoping for a smoother service experience next time.

My meal apparently wasn't memorable enough to motivate me to visit this location, that is, until quite recently. I decided to have lunch here after a nearby medical appointment. It wasn't crowded at all. Only a couple of solo diners and a loud senior couple. I wasn't in a sushi mood and thought I'd go healthy with the saba shioyaki. However, at the last minute, I went with the $19 Ika Yaki, a whole BBQ squid sliced and saturated in teriyaki sauce with a dab of shichimi mayo (Photo 8). The portion was generous and the texture was firm with enough elasticity. Unfortunately the teriyaki sauce did nothing to enhance the dish, and I wished they served it on the side. I also ordered the $8 Agedashi Tofu, usually a foolproof appetizer for me. It certainly looked right (Photo 9), but I was unpleasantly surprised how tongue-burning hot it was. The cubes of tofu must've just come right out of the deep fryer. The dashi broth helped calm the heat down but a little too late. I'm sure glad I sprung for the $3 bowl of Rice (Photo 10). That calmed what was left of my tongue down.
