Had an extremely rude experience with Don. My neighbor had hired him to trim her very large tree in her backyard (our backyards are back to back ). The tree trimmings fell into my yard as well as another neighbors yard which was to be expected, but also expected his crew to clean it up. Tree trimming took place Wednesday before Thanksgiving, fully expecting that by Friday they would return to clean up the mess. Finally Saturday morning I called him regarding the mess. He finally returned my call late Saturday afternoon. His only response was it had gotten dark, no apology and only asked if it was now cleaned up? I told him yes but only because the neighbor had sent her friend over to clean it up. I also commented that it should have been his crew's responsibility to return either Thursday morning or Friday at the latest to clean up the mess and it was now Saturday, he then proceeded to hang up on me. Don, himself came over in person, spoke with me to get the correct measurements of my backyard and the very next day his team began working on uprooting the overgrown grass & weeds I had. Next his team poured the concrete we talked about and over the course of one week Don and his team tended to the quality of the concrete. He was 1 of 4 contractors I looked at and was one of the most competitive for the services offered. Work: You can see their work in the pictures below and judge for yourself. Christian was on site the whole time working himself as well as managing his crew. Cleanup was quick, but if Christian didn't watch over his guys they would leave debris on top of roofs and/or behind/in trees. With him watching over, I would recommend him and his crew, but be cautious if he is on another call as his crew may cur corners on the cleaning. read more

I recently hired Don Williams and his crew to remove an old fig tree and other shrubs in my backyard that was long over due for a clean up such as an old pile of pavers I no longer needed. They also trimmed back tree branches and bushes that belonged to my neighbors that were hanging over my property line. They arrived at the time quoted and did not delay getting started with the job as quoted. These fellows work and timely and did a great job. They even cleared out a few extra weeds that I could done and of course it was greatly appreciated. Do not use. Had them install pavers in my backyard, job was not done correctly. The paves had gaps and near the drain the cut was very bad. They damaged by sprinkler and never fixed. When we found out we called and send them the pictures. NO show. We have to pay a real professional to come and fix this mess this company created. When we were paying the final payment, we told him about the drain cutout and requested to fix and then collect the money, the answer was if you don't pay, we will take you to the court. Do not use. Had them install pavers in my backyard, very high pressure sales, job was not done professionally or correctly. The pavers had two drains included, which he said would be 3 feet deep and lined with gravel at the bottom. After the first rain my backyard flooded and I realized the "drains" were not even 1 foot deep. Also, the way the pavers were laid, does not even slope to fake drain and now whenever it rains my backyard floods. I will have to pay a real professional to come and fix this mess this company created. Updated response: below is not true. I am the owner and NEVER requested the slope be changed nor were the pavers ever pulled and redone. This is the original work. Flooding occurred the first rain after job was performed and I should have posted this review sooner. The drains are NOT three feet deep nor does the pool flood or overflow into the backyard. I paid to remove trees and stumps. They did not remove even half of the stumps and covered it with dirt. The level of dirt was even higher than before. Looks like a lump of dirt. When I complained to Christian, he said most people like it this way instead of a hole. That's a BS because I told him from the beginning that I need to make it flat and lay concrete later so go deep and don't fill it with dirt. I called him to get a quote for a second job; he did do a good job the first time around- a bit pushy for my tastes, but there are all types of peeps out there;). Anyway, for the second time around when he found out I was calling to get estimates from other companies, he got very snitty -I guess I insulted him unknowingly by saying my current financial situation really did call for me trying to get the best price possible --- he's not cheap--- and I understand that if a contractor is licensed, insured, bonded, etc. that's quite expensive.... however, his reaction really was uncalled for-- acted like a real 'prima donna/uomo' tree trimmer. After he found out I was planning on getting other estimates besides his, he abruptly ended the conservation by saying not to bother to call him for his services again.
