Our server immediately noticed and greeted me, showing how attentive they are. The food also came out pretty quickly. The first time I came here though, they were a bit stingy to seat us at a booth during happy hour, but asides from that one experience, I have no complaints about this location. In that process while waiting to be transferred to a manger, I was told the grills and stoves weren't working and that only the fryer was available. I completely understand that equipment issues happen and that those situations are outside the staff's control. What disappointed me was the customer service i received. I was trying to figure out an affordable option for my son and me, so I asked manager if I could add two chicken tenders to my order. After being put on hold so many time's I was told they only came in a three piece order. I asked for the price and wasn't given an exact amount, just an estimate. I then asked if I could simply be charged for the three tenders instead of ordering another meal, but I didn't receive much help or any clear explanation. After spending so much time on the phone trying to work everything out, I asked if there was any way to receive a small 10% , 15% , or 20% discount if I ordered both the kids pancake meal and the kids' chicken tender meal. At that point, I wasn't asking because I felt entitled to a discount! I asked because the process had taken so long, there had been multiple issues, and I was simply trying to stay within my budget. The request was denied, which I accepted, but by then I already felt like my questions had been treated as an inconvenience rather than an opportunity to help a regular customer. To make matters worse, when I got my food, the food was not what I normally receive. The pancakes on the kids meal were MUCH smaller than they usually are, and instead of the usual biscuits we've received on previous visits, there was only ONE biscuit in the order. I've always enjoyed bringing my son here, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I understand unexpected problems happen, but good customer service is about how you treat people when those problems arise. And as for the manger Ms.Sam , I hope you take this feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity to reflect on how customer service can be improved. Started with the Homemade Guacamole. It is served with Doc Bs sweet potato chips. So addictively delicious. Perfect to share. For dinner, I had the Chicken Paillard. Grilled chicken breast covered with arugula, pickled red onions, tomatoes and shaved reggiano with a Gold Coast vinaigrette. So tasty. Get this one! My family also enjoyed their burgers and fries and the MaMa Bs Chicken Parmesan. The chicken is a huge portion served with a side of rigatoni. It really could be easily shared by two.
