This place has the best Tacos in all of Texas. Don't let the fact it's in a gas station fool you. They cook it right in front t of you as well. Their beans tasted amazing and rice was perfect. My favorite was the steak tacos. I had them how they came with onion and cilantro. But I add pico, lettuce, jalapeño squeezed lime with their really spicy red hot sauce and I was in heaven. I have ordered from Dona Susy too many times to count. It is by far my favorite taco joint in the Fort Worth area (and I have probably tried well over a dozen). The word "joint" might oversell this place a bit. This is a gas station take-out taco place. There are no tables. But, the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. If you find yourself watching a soccer game in Benbrook or having to attend a basketball game at the Y up the street, do yourself a favor and get some takeout from Dona Susy. The food: - Overall - We've tried a lot of options here. The food is made to order. It seems fresh. I'll call out a few specifics below. - Al pastor - excellent. The burrito happens to be my favorite option and what I normally get (with added avocado). There is a nice mix of sweet from the pineapple. It is tasty. - Carne asada - this is what my oldest usually gets (three carne asada tacos with nothing but tortilla and meat). Good carne asada. It isn't ground breaking, but tasty for a gas station taco joint. - Chicken - not much to say. It is chicken. But, you do see the attendant pull out a raw piece of chicken and cook it fresh, so it has that going for it. My younger two usually get the chicken (often mixed with carne asada). I prefer the more flavorful al pastor, but I don't complain when I get to eat my kids' leftover chicken. - Milanesa - this is another go-to for the children. We are Argentine and my milanesa happens to be better (if I say so myself), but this is a nice fallback when I don't feel like making it. My only complaint with their milanesa is they cook it on the flat top, so the breading can taste a little burnt. That being said, it is also fresh like the other meat, and it makes for a good torta. The only food my kids have not liked here is the hamburger. There was nothing wrong with the Dona Suzy hamburger, but it came with some Mexican spices so my kids were disappointed. Given the other options, it is simple enough to just not get the burger. read more

This place is awesome! Traditional tacos are made fresh in front of you and they are awesome! Their taco sauce is great (green is the best, but the orange is great too). Their horchata is also great.
