There's only 2 tables inside and there's not much of an ambiance, but I like getting takeout here. Service is always quick...you go in, tell the girl what you want (it's easy to customize your order) and it's ready within a few minutes. I ordered the chicken platter and added grilled onions and mushrooms with extra sauce and pita on the side. Another good Middle Eastern place that serves great dishes.. baklava dessert in here is awesome provided you will put them in fridge for few hours before eating.. it'll be very crispy and really taste good. Decent donairs and rice platter. The food is good but nothing special. Service is quick. Watch out for slivers of chicken bone though. Great place to get food if you are hungry and everywhere else has a long wait. It looks like a grab and go place as I do not see any tables for dine in. Parking is available on the street out front. If there is no spot, you could park in the lot next to it or behind the building on the next street and walk down the stairs. read more

Tasty donair place. Parking is available on Canada Way. The place looks pretty dumpy and plain. Nothing wrong with that though. Staff were friendly. My order came quickly. They have wraps (falafel) as well as platters and combos. I had the lamb platter. Presentation is ghetto. The platter had a hummus and salad section. Lamb slices were served on rice, with tzatziki and hot sauce. Hit the spot. Pretty decent portion size too. Wouldn't mind coming back here and there to get my fix. read more

$46 inc. tip for a chicken donair and 2 lamb platters. The food and service here is terrible! When I first arrived at 7pm on a week night there was only one other customer waiting in the store and 2 staff. No one greeted me. I stood there for 10 minutes until they grunted, "what can I get you." They did not ask me which of the three sauces I would like on the lamb platter, they just started pouring all three sauces on, slopping it on fast with a ladle. I had to quickly stop her from putting a huge splash of hot sauce on one of the platters. The food was meh and the "Greek salad" in particular was awful! A little bit of feta cheese and dressing and soggy cucumbers! Disgusting! Where were the peppers shown in their menu photos?! The rice was dry and a mix of white and yellow coloured basmati. The humous was runny and tasted awful - and I'm a huge fan of all types of humous normally. I also ordered a sorry looking piece of baklava which they forgot to put in the bag! My loss, I guess. The service here is terrible - do not go here! This place has really gone downhill since I started coming here several years ago. read more

We were craving donairs for lunch and remembered seeing this place on our daily commute so decided to give it a try. Reviews on yelp were divided but don't fret! I'll keep this one fair and simple. The regular size is the perfect portion for me (the size of a 6" sub but so much more meat) and at an incredible price of $6.99! It was decent and I have zero complaints at that price; you just can't get lunch for $6.99 most places these days. So there you have it! We've had some of the best donairs during our time in Calgary so it would take quite a bit to rate any place 5 stars. read more

What an awesome find! I work in the area and have seen their sandwich board posted out front for the last 3 or 4 months. Couldn't bring myself to cook tonight and decided to give them a shot. With my hand on the door about to enter, a gentleman walking by stopped me and said: "This is a GREAT place to eat! You'll love it!" and kept walking. Surprised by this endorsement, and by the couple chowing down on their meal I waited in line as the staff member finished helping another customer. The space is not very exciting, the walls are stark white, pretty bland. Parking is easiest at the back of the complex. I asked what was their most popular seller and was told hands down it's the chicken donair. I ordered 1 super lamb donair and 1 super chicken donair. The price difference between the regular sized and super is $1. These donairs are HUGE and stuffed full. The guy behind the counter said he'd "see me tomorrow". On getting them home, I totally understood why the couple in the shop was chowing down hard and fast. THIS IS REALLY GOOD FOOD! Both the chicken and the lamb were tender and juicy. The flavour was wonderful and I could barely get through mine I was so full. I spent $14 for the meal. Cheapest donairs I have bought and worth every cent. That guy behind the counter - he was right. We ordered the Lebanese lamb that came with hummus and parsley, and the super chicken (extra meat). The portion was very good. For the Lebanese one, I would've liked it more if they put a bit more parsley (tabbouleh) in. They only gave me one little scoop. For the meat, I liked the chicken better than the lamb. Sauce wise, the Lebanese is the preferred, but would be even better if there was more parsley. We finished our lunch quite satisfied. read more

Order to take out. The lady messed up my order twiAsked for a lamb and got chicken instead and then she realized she made a mistake. She then tried to scoop all the chicken out that was on the rice. She should have just started a new take out box. She went and grabbed the lamb to place on my rice. She dropped a piece on the table and then she goes and pick it up and puts it back into my container. The table did not look clean at all! I was so turned off by that. I would not recommend it. I live close by and have been here a few times. It really is below average in comparison to other Donair shops. What bothers me the most is the staff are quite unfriendly and rude. The owner also has no clue what a smile is or how to interact with customers. I'm truly done and am never ever going back. read more

When the place first opened it was Excellent, large portions good quality flavorful meat. Now, the price has gone up substantially, the portions are reduced and all other donair places give you a whole pita bread when you order the platter. This place gave me like a quarter of a pita to dip with the rice platter and the lamb and beef options are so dry and bland. The chicken used to be very flavorful but I notice they cut back on the spices. Being this is a chain reataurant, these guys should be reported to HQ because they are ruining the whole franchise in BC. The surrey and Port Coquitlam locations are way better then this one and the prices are cheaper too! read more

Donair Affair on Scott Road and 64th ave. in Surrey is easily the best donair around in terms of not only quality, but price! It always amazes me how they can afford to provide beautifuly traditional rotary skewered sliced lamb, chicken and beef donair meat and good quality veggies (mostly) and a delicious garlic sauce that is almost as good as the legendary east coast Lebanese donairs have, but at a price usually $2 or so less then the competition! I wish the location was closer to my work travel route, because I could easily have this for dinner many days of the week. They also provide enough meat and veg within 1 pita to fit 2 pitas, and more then once i have done exactly that, splitting the deliciousness to a second pita and having 2 donairs for the price of 1. The choice of condiments may seem slightly sparse to some, but for a little more you get the 'deluxe' donair with generous amounts of feta and other good things. All in all, there is no excuse for anyone living near or passing through the sunshine Hills area of Newton/Delta to not grab a donair or platter from here whenever you have an urge for good middle eastern grub. read more
