Dough was incredibly flaky, and pear's flavor had a subtle salty I could taste, Sweet and a bit salty balance worked so well. Mont blanc was also great. Again, dough was so good, Chestnut puree was not too sweet and meringue on the top paired well. Croissant pudding was also delicious. It was not too dense just like the one I had in other shop. Sweetness was perfect, it was a great item, too. Roast beef croissant was a good savory item. I just got one bite, but, flavor was strong. Beef and mustard paired well, Dough was flaky, Overall, I highly recommend this bakery. Next time, I will try their cookies I haven't tried yet.

Everything is self serve - including the cooking griddle, burners, utensils, foods etc. You grab all the food including meats from the fridge, and any extras (rice, soup stew, veggies, seaweed, corn cheese etc) and let the couple running the show know which tent # tab to add the items on, then you square up at the end. For banchan, there was fermented perilla leaves, lettuce, ssamjang, fermented garlic, regular garlic, onion salad, and kimchi. All the veggies are grown on their farm and you can walk around and check out where it's growing, very cool! They were growing peppers as well! The meat was fresh and we loved the relaxing outdoor picnic vibe. There's no time limit on your stay so you could talk the evening away... a playground is also on site for those that want to bring kids, and on-leash dogs are allowed! There's two picnic tables per shelter so you could easily fit 8 people, up to 12 for a cozier vibe. A very fun experience just 30 minutes outside of Burnaby, or about an hour from downtown Vancouver. He advised that our courses were taking longer than expected to be served and therefore we would be able to order another drink of choice on the house. After another 10 minutes or so, our first course was set on our table. My first course was a soup of the day, which turned out to be a delicious cheddar and broccoli soup. It had some carrot slivers as well, and was a perfectly well balanced soup. My next course, the seared scallops, were brought out quite quickly and were also quite delicious. Admittedly, this was my first time trying scallops so I can't truly review them one way or another, given I didn't know what to expect from them. My third course was the beef arugula salad and although it didn't smell as appetizing given the mixture of plates I had prior, it was incredibly delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and was just as tender and juicy as I had hoped. My fourth course, the red wine braised short rib served with fondant potatoes and roasted seasonal vegetables, was positively to die for. I, admittedly, was stuffed at this point and already knew I'd have leftovers, but I wanted to finish every bite if I was able as it truly was perfection. Finally, for my fifth course, I was given the cheesecake which was rich, creamy and delicious. It was just the right size of slice and finished off the meal wonderfully.
