This place is fantastic! My absolute go to when I don't feel like cooking. There's limited space inside for dining, but honestly I always do take out. There is outdoor seating with a nice view of a river below for when it's nice out. My favorites so far: Jersey Bills Grinder- they really pack the meat into this sub and it's very tasty. Love the bread! Chicken Stew on yellow rice- I pretty much have this every week. The chicken thighs are tender. The flavor is tasty. And it's available every week on the hot bar so it's a quick grab if I'm running late. Empanadas- they have several types and some specials from time to time. Again, they don't skimp on the filling for these things. Keep an eye out for their daily specials on Facebook. They're always changing and delicious.

My kids and I went in for the first time tonight. I had heard great things and I was not disappointed. Kids got standard American fare (meatball anch chicken bacon ranch grinders w fries) and both said theirs was SOOO good. I went with the Puerto Rican menu. Absolutely fantastic. I cannot put into words how amazing it was. The service also stellar. The owner and both workers I encountered were helpful and just so happy to introduce me to Puerto Rican food. They let me sample a whole plate of stews, meats, and plantains. They brought me a potato ball just to try it. It was unreal! I'm now addicted. The steak and cheese empanada was the BEST empanada I have ever had. I decided on pepper steak, chicken stew, rice and beans and a side of Mac and cheese. We had guava and papaya juices and a guava juice with lemonade. We will definitely be back!

Let's stop all discussions about awesome sandwiches because I found Da Deli!!! This is a new establishment about the closing of Big Belly Kelly. That was a bummer since it was a great place for Bar-B-Q. Donatello's has great sandwiches, salads and soups. The prices are super low for the quality and quantity. My wife and I split their signature sandwich named the Donatello. It was STUFFED with salami, cappicola, prosciutto, mozzarella, prov, pesto, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and banana peppers. They seats outside around the side. OK my mouth is watering writing this review so I will stop now because I am going back!!

Our server Corina was very friendly and welcoming, answering our questions and making us feel at ease there. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass as well as bottles. We had Mascarelli montepulciano and Whispering Angel rose, both very good. I also had a Bourbon Peach Smash, a peach-y version of an old-fashioned that was tasty and refreshing. We started with burrata - amazingly fresh creamy mozzarella served with crostini, "cherry bomb" tomatoes and aged balsamic. Great way to start the meal! For our mains, we had chicken parmesan (extremely fresh and tender chicken & mozzarella with a hearty red sauce) ordered with a side of broccolini and their pork chop (grilled, red chimi, fingerling potatoes) - a thick and tender chop that was one of the best I've ever had, and the red chimi added a delightful little zing to it. For dessert, we ordered the affogato (wonderful vanilla gelato drowned with expresso at the table) - wonderfully decadent and delicious.

The complimentary Parmesan cheese they serve you in so darn good, I wanted to eat the whole plate. I opted for their Malfaldine Pasta and it didn't disappoint. The only miss for us were the mussels; on the fishy side and not edible for us. For dessert you must get the affogato!

I was expecting a lot for prices like these. The Arancini were 5 pieces the size of golf balls and the flavor was ok, not worth $16, out garlic bread with cheese ($16) was left out of our order, the penne vodka with sautéed chicken ($32) was dry and there were 5 small pieces of chicken, and the baked penne chicken Alfredo had broken sauce, full of grease and almost inedible...I threw out most of it. I expected so much more from this establishment. The parking lot was packed and parking just to get takeout was challenging, but the food and prices were amazingly disappointing. We may try their pizza to see if that is any better, but I would not recommend the pasta dishes. I can see charging g prices like that if the pasta was homemade, but even that is a stretch. 3 stars is generous

They seated us right away! I love the vibes of the place, it's beautiful and inviting, but not pretentious. Our waitress was the best. She knew it was our anniversary and gave us a little bubbly to toast to. We also made it for happy hour (5 pm - 6 pm on weekdays, and 5 pm - 6 pm on weekends only at the bar)! All the small plates on the left side of the menu were half off! We immediately ordered drinks (the $10 happy hour cocktail - a blackberry bourbon smash for my husband, and a mocktail for me). We then ordered the shishito peppers, 2 of the pickled beet deviled eggs, and the roasted oysters with chili oil. They came out super fast, and it was delicious. The shishitos had that great char flavor along with a great dipping sauce. You can never go wrong with deviled eggs. Then we decided to order the fried oysters and the bread with corn butter. The fried oysters were the star of the small plates. Cooked so well. Freshly fried, you bite into it and it was juicy and delicious on the inside. Just so good. The bread and butter? Ugh, my dream butter and bread. Just so delicious. The butter was slightly sweet from the corn and had flakes of sea salt on tip, making it the perfect sweet and salty combo. We also got the salad (local produce!), and our waitress knew we were sharing ao she had the kitchen put it on 2 plates. Such a great touch. The salad was fantastic. After eating lobster rolls for a day, this was a much needed salad. It was refreshing, bright, and light! For our main entrees, we got the seared local squid and the strip steak. It was INCREDIBLE. Everything had so much flavor. The squid was cooked well, wasnt chewy. Just delicious. The crispy rice was the BEST THING I HAVE EVER EATEN. I wish we could order bowls of it. My husband finished it, couldn't get enough of it. The steak was fantastic as well. The potato with the bearnise sauce was so dreamy. The little onions on the steak, all the little touches were so well done. We knew we had to get dessert. We got a scoop of the black raspberry ice cream, a scoop of corn and blueberry swirl ice cream, and the lavender honey panna cotta. Guys. You 100% must get dessert. The corn blueberry ice cream was unreal. I dont know how you get all that flavor into ice cream. They dont skimp on the honey on the panna cotta. And it went so well with the more mild panna cotta. The black raspberry was a little icy because they froze whole blackberries in it, but at least you know they were trying to make sure you got blackberries in there. With happy hour, the bill wasn't too bad. This was hands down our favorite meal of our week long road trip. I can't wait to come back. I would 100% make a detour to eat here.
