I brought my child in for a check up and left with a very bad experience and beyond upset and…read morefurious. Two of their staff members spoke badly about my child's condition and reason as to why I was bringing her in. They weren't even the ones to bring me in a room. So there we have a violation of patient confidentiality. One of them even said a very denigrating racial comment about my daughter's lips. I brought it to Dr. Peters since he was the one who was seeing my daughter and he very disgustingly turned back around into his computer dismissing me and said oh I don't know who you're talking about. When I demanded their names he again paid no mind and didn't even care and stated I don't work with them to know who you're talking about. During the examination I explained that my daughter was in pain if he could please be careful and with no surprise to me he was pulling and tugging on her lip. I was beyond mad at this point, it's not the first time I leave the office with a very bad taste after a visit with him. He doesn't seem to care to explain procedures or side effects. On another occasion he even whacked my child across the face!! Why is he still in the office I do not know. I brought up the incident of the two young woman to the ladies in the front desk area and one of them with glasses on the heavier side didn't even care wasn't even caring enough to go get her manager and just said that she would call me back as she was currently busy doing other things. When I said will she really call me back or is it just your way to get me out the office she assured I would get a call. Along came 3pm and since no call was given I decided to call and spoke to their manager. This office can really benefit if people that have a passion for the field are hired instead of those who just go in to collect a pay check. It's not the first time this so called receptionist "helps" if it's even considered helping.

I am new to area and was looking for a dentist. It had been a while, and I knew I needed work done…read more I went onto their web site and clicked "Book an Appointment". The soonest appointment was a week later, but I figured I had gone this long, what's another week. I filled out my information, and received an email with "Your Appointment is Confirmed" in the subject line shortly after. I requested the day off (I'm a teacher, so this is not an easy thing to do), and filled out all of the new patient paperwork they sent. The day before my appointment I get a phone call stating that what I had was a "request for an appointment" and that the lady on the phone would be happy to make one for me. So not only did I NOT have an appointment, but it would be ANOTHER THREE WEEKS before I could get one. Nevermind that nowhere on the web site or email did the word "request" appear, but even if this was so, why wait until the DAY BEFORE I was expecting to come in? Now it's true that I never even made it to the door. Maybe this is the best dentist in the state. I'll never find out because they have already shown me that they do not value my time.
