    Lack luster hit chicken sandwich
    Ro C.

I thought the pizza and food would be on point but it was all bland. The hot chicken sandwich is good but not enough pickles & ranch. My calzone was sooo flat, being from up north I'm used to a loaded calzone! Not nearly enough cheese either. My individual pizza was flavorless as well but I ate it because hunger kicked in. The cheesy bread was meh not enough cheese & the cheese on it was burnt. I was greeted very well but it's not worth my dime to go back for more disappointment. Overall bad visit and I was a first time customer.

This pizza was not good at all and it's so expensive . Next time just go to a little Caesar's, you'll be more satisfied .

The girl who took our order was incredibly friendly, and the service was quick from the moment we walked in. I ordered Dad's Egg Sandwich, and Mom got the Vegetable Frittata. The bacon on my sandwich was the standout--nice, thick, and perfectly cooked. My only complaint is that the menu mentioned garlic, but I honestly couldn't taste any. If you're going to promise garlic, I want to taste garlic! Mom really enjoyed her frittata, although I think she's getting a little tired of egg dishes lately. She especially loved the toast and whatever butter they served with it. It almost tasted like maple butter, and it was delicious. The fresh fruit was also excellent (I happily finished Mom's!). My only real complaint is the size of the restaurant. It's a cozy space, but I can see it getting crowded very quickly during the breakfast rush. Overall, everything was wonderful. Friendly staff, fast service, and a delicious breakfast. We'll definitely be back!

This restaurant is located…read moreinside the Botanical Gardens but you don't need to pay to eat here, it's located next to the gift shop. Sometimes the food venue in a place like this can be terrible and over priced -- this isn't the case with Fern & Feast Bistro. The food selection here is pretty decent, sandwiches, tacos, salads, burgers, flatbreads etc, most in the $9-12 range. They have some kid options (chicken nuggets, grilled chese, quesadilla, etc) for picky eaters at $6 each. Downside is that the sandwiches etc don't come with fries or chips, so that could increase your meal price. I ordered the Uber sandwich because I feel like that is a good gauge of how the food will be and is pretty standard at most restos. Mine was served relatively quick on an environmentally friendly plate made if recycle paper products (I don't care all that much but I know some people will appreciate that touch). Club was delicious, but make sure to grab mustard and mayo. Bread was toasted just the right amount; it had some char but was not too dry or crunchy. Lettuce and tomato were fresh, and the proportions and amounts of the turkey, ham and beacon was great. But the best reason to come to this place is the scenery. From the back of the narrow seating area you can grab a seat that looks out over the Botanical Gardens or of you keep going back they have outdoor seating available. The weather was wonderful today and so I ate my sandwich on the patio taking in nature and avoiding the man with three children who all needed discipline in their life inside. If you're looking for a place to stop and relax with decent food while the weather is good - this is your place. Give it a shot!

Regardless, we had a good meal from here--I was actually pleasantly surprised. I ordered online, the food was prepared promptly, and everyone there was nice. It's not a "fancy" place, but everything seemed clean as well. I got a wrap (I basically custom ordered a cobb salad in a wrap) that was delicious--pro tip, add avocado as theirs is fresh and they don't skimp on portions. I just got chips (bagged Lay's) but they have a plethora of other options. Better half got the white chicken bbq. I would like to say that this was a memorable dining experience, but not in a good way. The food was unremarkable. I had the down-home plate with turkey and pineapple. Turkey was dry and void of seasoning. Ham was OK. Portion size was not enough to make a sandwich, which turned out to be satisfactory as there was more than I wanted to eat anyway .Cheddar pasta was overcooked. Best thing on the plate was roasted vegetables. My boyfriend got the pork sliders and was unimpressed as well. Not memorable enough to return. I'd be surprised if this location was open in the next eight months.

I still like this place and have even gotten "real food" there…read more Pros: Staff are friendly! They nicely ground the bag of (overpriced) coffee I bought with zero complaints. The breakfast sandwiches and BLT are decently executed, but I'm REALLY not a fan of their bagels. Their bread (particularly the baguette) is fantastic, though. Note: it sells out quickly. You can still pick up your to-go order without having to deal with people. They now have a cute bookshop inside. They make their own cream cheese! Cons: If I'm paying $1.50 for an avocado add on, PLEASE don't let it be oxidized and brown and gross. This makes me sad. Parking is still a nightmare. See above about the bagels. I'm prepared for the hate I'm about to get, but I prefer Bruegger's...which is sad, as I'm sure they're produced and come in frozen. Prices have gone up, but that's to be expected. I would love, however, the option to not add on a side for less moolah. I don't want their straight from the bag chips, random baby carrots, or (somewhat icky) fruit. Depending on the timing, you may be able to get a seat. Or you may be fighting a soccer mom with 4 screaming toddlers just to pick up a to go order. Still a fan, but know what you're getting.

This is a great food truck from the same folks as Fire and Spice (both the truck and the…read morerestaurant). This truck focuses on sandwiches, wraps, and burgers, often with some sort of decadent or spicy twist. I'm a big fan mostly for their burger: two patties with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes (though I ask for these to be taken off), bacon, and their heavenly sauce, which to my tastes is reminiscent of a really good fry sauce. It's a fairly traditional burger but executed super well. The patties are a great thickness for me - maybe a bit thinner than a standard Five Guys burger - and since there's two of them it's a pretty filling meal on its own. The service has always been polite and helpful, and the food usually comes out quickly even when the truck is pretty busy. They park on the Arsenal sometimes and are working on perfecting their online ordering system to further improve wait times. My one complaint is the price/size of the fry portion. I always like to have fries with my burger, even when the burger is really big lol. You can get an order added on to your sandwich for an extra charge. Personally, I think $3 is high for the pretty small serving size they offer. I'd ideally like to have more fries OR the same amount at a lower price; either would be okay. The fries themselves are pretty good; you can get different seasonings on them and for an extra dollar can add a cup of their yummy fry sauce. The burger is legit, though, y'all -- probably my #2 or #3 favorite burger in Huntsville, depending on my mood. If they're close to me, I'll pretty reliably seek them out for a tasty meal. They're very good about posting their schedule for the week on social media, so it's easy to hunt them down.
