The owner, Harvey Robbins, made sure to come over and say hello. I had contacted the dealer and Andy about a Tudor watch - which I wound up ordering, and just taking delivery today. Andy not only goes out of his way to listen to what I want, but always makes sure to spend extra time determining my needs and explaining the options, and then orders what I want immediately if he doesn't have it in stock. The price was fair - and besides the dealer being authorized to honor the warranty, I get such a positive feeling of honesty from the dealer, and a clear focus on my needs, that I'd really hesitate to buy a brand that they carry elsewhere. A great place - in all the locations! I dealt with the Somers Point, NJ store this time - but have had equally positive experiences in Marlton, NJ & Villanova, PA.

I'm in Florida for the winter right now and they were kind enough to mail my watch back to me down here. When I was in a store I was very impressed with their selection and actually purchased an additional bracelet from Jim, which he kindly sending along with my watch as well. I had my 20-year-old tanzanite ring resized at this store and was disappointed with the outcome…read more The center 2.5-trillion-cut tanzanite was not removed before resizing, and a few hours after picking it up, the stone fell out. I later discovered cracks and chips in the exact areas where the prongs had been holding it. I provided photos of the damaged stone and the empty setting. In addition, I sent a copy of the original appraisal certificate to help resolve the issue, but the store DECLINED to REPLACE the STONE or Offer ANY COMPENSATION. I understand that mistakes can happen, but this was a meaningful piece to me, and damage could have been avoided with proper care. I hope the store will reconsider how they handle delicate stones in the future. VERY Disappointing Experience. I would not recommend using their repair service.

About 30 years ago, my mother had him put a 2C Kenya diamond (?) onto her antique wedding band and I had a 1C one put into an older ring of mine. He did a great job and I still have them both even though I no longer wear that type of jewelry. My adult son was visiting from Florida and needed a minor watch repair. I suggested we drop it off there so he could have it fixed before he went back. Mr. Harris was extremely rude to him and said that he did not do watch repairs (even though I recall having some done in the past and his website advertises that as one of his services). He said he only replaces batteries so, since I had some that needed that, I asked how much that was. He replied , "as much as I can get". I assumed he was joking, but when we all laughed, he said "I don't do watches, I'm a jeweler." My son asked if he knew anyone in the area who did any watch work and he replied, "Nobody." His demeanor wasn't appropriate for a longtime business owner. I have seen this gentleman in church and have read good reviews for the business, so maybe we caught him on a bad day. I just felt the need to leave a review so that maybe he'll be kinder to potential customers in the future.
