This is an update from when Done Right was at my house (1week ago) to do cleaning and sealant on my tiles. Robert and his asst, Travis, came back out to "fix" the issue with the sealant that they left on my tile. I tried to help him out by marking the areas with chalk since he "can't see it" last time. Right when he saw it, he said, "I wish you wouldn't have done that, it's not gonna come off." Really? It's chalk. He said well, since you marked it, I'm just gonna clean those areas. I told him I only marked some areas, not all of them. Well, while they were working on my tiles, they got some excess spray? on my wood floor now. And they wiped off with a dirty towel, now leaving my wood floors chalky. Then he starts raising his voice at me when I pointed that out to him. He said, "I don't know what to tell you! Next time I'll just bring some Bona and clean the whole (wood) floor". Don't freaking yell at me like you're doing me a favor bc YOU dirtied my floor. When I told him the sealant was still there, it wasn't coming off the tiles, He started throwing his arms up and yelling "I hate this tile, this is a nightmare"- repeatedly. He keeps saying, look, it gets dirty so easily--as he's stomping on my floor with his dirty boots. And left his dirty shoe print without cleaning it up. Well if you hate this tile so much and know u can't get the job done. Don't take the damn job. He said I'm gonna talk to my partner and call you back so we can fix this. It's been exactly a week today. Haven't heard from him. I just want a refund since he did more damage than good. I would have to hire someone else to get it Done Right. The first time. read more

I called Done Right using a FB community referral. I was having a hard time getting other companies to return my calls and messages, to do a very small job. Done Right called me back right away and we set up an appointment for the following Friday. They came out, fixed my carpet to my satisfaction. Since I told them I needed the carpet fixed due to a water problem that I had already taken care of, they went ahead and sprayed mildicide on the carpet and padding. Also they cleaned my kitchen tile grout to the point it looks like it's brand new. They then sealed my grout and said it would last 3-5 years, which I am hoping is accurate. I just have to make sure I use nothing but vinegar to clean my floor. That's gonna be hard to do because I like the flowery smelly stuff. I was told when the floor was laid years ago to use only vinegar but I didn't listen. Does anyone know if there is a lavender scented vinegar I can buy? The guys were friendly, very personable, knowledgeable, and thorough. I felt very comfortable with them, they seemed like good upstanding citizens of the community. My son's bathroom had been permeated with a urine smell for a couple of years. I used all sorts of off-the-shelf chemicals to try and clean the floor. Nothing worked. The smell would not leave. I called these people and Robert or maybe it was another representative assured me that they had addressed this type of problem before and that they would be able to help me. $170 later the bathroom still smells like piss. However I do give them five stars for customer service. A day following the initial cleaning I'll let them know the bathroom still smells and Robert worked quickly too come back out and put down a sanitizer. The sanitizer helped overnight but the smell came back. Robert then came back again and re-cleaned the floor. Again the urine smell returned shortly after. I've decided to have the tile and grout removed and just start from scratch but it still doesn't feel good to have spent $170 and not gotten what I was promised. By far the best carpet cleaning we've ever had. We've used Dirt Free, Sears and myself (using a rental machine) for the last 15 years. When Robert was done, our carpet looked better than it did when we moved in 15 years ago! Totally exceeded my expectations of cost, quality and professionalism. More and more everyday people amaze me- so I've been working on getting my mothers home back to livable since the water damage, yesterday I had her furniture cleaned by a company that I myself had used in my own home- I was talking with the guy who by the way is the owner, asking if if he remembered me he said no he normally remembers the home when he sees it, which is understandable. Then he proceeded to tell me or he remembers the people who tip him or buy him lunch. I was like ok...... Then into the job I told him it was looking great and again asked me for a tip. By that time I was not happy- he made me feel very uncomfortable and quite upset- I feel like you don't ask for tips- especially the owner of a business. I was already paying a premium price for the cleaning. And it's up to me if I give a tip. Don't get me wrong I tip a lot of people- and I get the tipping procedure- my sister works for tips so i can appreciate that.
