Done Right is fantastic. I would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs. To start, I called them up to see if they could come out to install a pressure reducing valve (PRV) for our mid-90s home per recommendation of our inspector. Sarah answered and was really great about working with my schedule. I was given a date and a time window for them to come out. Ben came out on the day of and did quick work! He was friendly and answered all of my questions. A couple of days later, we noticed that there was a humming sound that came on when we turned on the water at all of the locations in our home. Eek! I called and Sarah answered and said that Steve would call back later that evening. Sure enough, he did! He explained what could be going on and said that it wasn't an emergency and asked if anything was leaking. He asked us to give it a couple of weeks to see if it would settle on its own, but to call back if we still had issues. We got busy, but about 4 weeks later, we were still having the humming problem. I called back and Sarah got us scheduled again! The only problem that we had was that on the scheduled day and time, no one showed up... this was odd because we had really good communication up till then. I called and Sarah called me back the next day and apologized profusely for the no-show. There was an emergency septic call and the guy was called out there. He didn't call because he was working with... well, septic stuff. She immediately rescheduled and called to confirm on the day of as well. Ben came out and replaced the PRV that was installed before and it's been smooth sailing! No humming at all! Even with the no-show, they made it right immediately and made sure that I was comfortable with the fix and satisfied. I am so happy to have found Done Right Plumbing and for Ben, Sarah, and Steve. I contacted Done Right Plumbing to help find and repair a leak in my home. The owner came right away to take a peek and advise me in moving further with my insurance and remedies. My husband went on to get quotes at a higher cost from 3 other companies! While we did not go with Done Right initially to replace our water service line, I'm calling them in the future for a repair unrelated to the first problem. Steven returned our call within 10minutes and was at our door within the hour! He quoted us $85-$100 to clear our clogged drains--very reasonable. Not only did he clear our clogged drains he stayed extra and even went into our crawl space to identify the problem of our drains being clogged every few months. Which was the piping was too small. He went above and beyond to help us and we have hired him and his team back to replace the piping (which when memory served we were told that by our home inspector 6 years ago!---but forgot in the excitement of being first time home owners) Of all the years of having plumbers come to clear our clogs--Steven is the first to take the time to figure out why this is repeatedly happening! I had Done Right out for a quote (cold call to them, we're new to Seattle) on repairing the drain where my driveway meets my garage door as a last ditch effort - I'd had 2 quotes and one company had said $8,000-$10,000 and said the job would require tearing up the floor in our family room, and one company said they weren't sure they could do it and would send another guy out (who never showed up). Done Right gave me a great quote for SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER COST, were honest about my options, and spent 2 days cutting concrete, rerouting pipes, and repouring the concrete in my garage. The owner called me daily (I was at work while they were at the house) and updated me on status, and once the repair was complete all my problems were solved. We're had great results throughout all the heavy fall rains. They also installed 2 toilets for me - nice guys, quick response. I hired this business to help me with a shower remodel. I needed some pipes moved. They came, they were on time, they were on budget. I just was unhappy with communication. I got a drain that I didn't ask for (I'm sure I paid for it, but I can't know for sure because my estimate or bill wasn't really itemized) they also moved my shower drain to the middle of my new shower, I wasn't planning on them doing it, but it's done. Again, I probably paid for it, and now I have to work around an extra whole in the floor. Also a hole was left in the side of my house (yes it was necessary for the job and I should have figured out that it would be there) but it was hidden behind a pipe and it was days until I noticed it. I would have liked it pointed out to me? They attached a pipe to a piece of wood that clearly is unfinished demolition. Not only is this the best plumbing company I've ever used but it is one of the best companies I have dealt with in general. Let's start with Steve the owner, hands down one of the best businessmen I have dealt with. Especially having worked as a real estate agent I have lots of experience with a lot of different companies. He always puts his customers first and is amazing at what he does. He will suggest things to be done to protect you but does not push unnecessary services, he doesnt nickle and dime you for the small minutia like some companies will. He responds quickly and he is just the nicest guy. Then let's talk about his workers, firstly it again says a lot about this company that all the workers I've had over really are amazing, friendly, efficient, keep things clean, polite, knowledgeable and overall helpful which is hard to find and they all had only good things to say about their boss and company. I've seen with other companies the workers try and steal business for themselves on the side or talk trash about their company but these guys are a happy and loyal bunch, I'm guessing cuz they have a great boss. Most recent visit Steve and Sharif came by after I woke up to a flooded bathroom. Came over in less than an hour of me calling and were finished in less than 30-45 min and I even asked if they could help with another bathroom toilet even though that wasn't part of my original call and they helped with that too! I recently became a homeowner, and I found a cracked pipe from the pressure relief valve on my hot water heater so I called several plumbers in the area. These guys were quick to respond and were able to come out on a short notice. They replaced the pipes and helped me identified several code issues with my 70's house, and fixed those issues at a very reasonable rate on the next day. When I discovered a tiny drip on the hot water gas expansion tank pipe due to faulty hardware, they came back and made sure that the job was done right. After receiving an outrageous estimate from our regular plumbing company, I contacted Done Right Plumbing, and Steve came out to our home to give an estimate on building an outdoor shower. He came out on a weekend, listened to our ideas, gave suggestions to improve some of the design and materials, and provided an estimate...which was much lower than the original bid. We scheduled the following Friday to have the outdoor shower built. Due to a little miscommunication on my part, we had to postpone the project, until the following Tuesday. We had an ongoing small drip from a tub faucet that dramatically changed to a small stream of constant hot water - in the 'off' position. Of course this happened the day after Thanksgiving. I called at least 6 plumbers, and not only was Done Right the only one working, but they were able to come the same day. The technician did his best to try to remedy the problem, but didn't have the right part/cartridge needed for my faucet to make the fix that day. He told us he would stop by a supply store on his way home from work to see if he could find one, so it wouldn't have to be special ordered. I don't ultimately know where they got the part, but he was back on Monday AM to fix the problem. (None of the other plumbers I left messages for ever even called back.) The price he quoted Fri was the price we paid Monday, even though the fix required a second trip. Would use them again. read more

These guys are great, timely, professional, trustworthy! I've used them 4 times, and they have always been thorough. I've never had to give them a call back to address any work they've done for me. They explain what they are doing very clearly. Super nice guys. Before I found these guys, I had called another, bigger company in West Seattle, that came out for a quote and they wanted $350 to find a leak in the toilet. We all knew it was just the seal, but they were trying to take advantage, besides the point that the $350 was more than what I paid for the toilet in the first place. Him and another team member showed up early to the scheduled appointment; after calling to ask if that was okay. I had a couple problems with the old sewer line getting backed up frequently due to tree roots. They snaked the line and investigated my problem areas that needed repairs. I also asked him on the spot if he could give an estimate for a leaking shower I had inside. We called three plumbing companies to get quotes for leak detection and fixes: The Pipe Doctor, King Plumbing and Done Right Plumbing. We left two messages for Pipe Doctor, no one even bother to give us a call back. We talked to someone at King Plumbing and was asked to email the info. Again, no one replied back. Done Right Plumbing is the only one that we were able to schedule for someone to come out. Sharif and his partner Nick showed up at promptly. Their search was thorough and their recommendations are honest and sound. We appreciate their professionalism. We also asked for a quote for our tankless water heater replacement before they left. After doing some research and compared their quote to three other companies, their quote is competitive for the quality and responsiveness. We hired them back to install the tankless. Again, they were prompt and thorough. The office ladies Katie and Tracy were very accommodating to my questions and requests. OMG! Steve and John just left my house about 5 minutes ago. i am voting these guys as HEROES of the YEAR! we had our sewer line backed up at 10pm last night and Roto Rooter came and gave us an outrageous quote for simply snaking the line.
