Done Right Plumbing completed work on our home in Feburary 2019. We were referred to several plumbing companies by American Leak Detection after they found a huge leak coming from outside of our home. We had done an extensive remodel which included new plumbing inside the home two years prior but hadn't touched anything outside the home. The external leak caused our waterbill to skyrocket and we were forced to shut off our main water line when we left our house for work each day, and turn it back on again when we got home which was a huge pain! Since the repair was going to be extensive, we got bids from three different companies. All three of them were great but we eventually went with Done Right Plumbing primarily because of price, scheduling, and experience dealing with issues similar to ours. I sent an email to the company along with photos in January 2019 explaining our plumbing leak situation. I received a bid the next day from the owner Steve Renfrow. Since the bid was extremely competitive, I was concerned and wanted to make sure we were comparing apples to apples. Steve addressed all of my concerns and provided additional information, and was extremely confident he did not need an onsite visit: the photo/info we provided was enough, and that his bid was correct. Work was originally scheduled to be done February 6, 2019 but unfortunately it had to be rescheduled due to the pending "Snowmageddon". Steve had called prior to the scheduled day to notify me of his concern about the pending bad weather and for the safety of his crew, and asked that the work be rescheduled. We waited out the snow and eventually rescheduled for February 26th. On the day, Steve arrived with three other team members and a large back hoe. They dug the hole and put in a new 25' water line. Work started at 8am and finished around 2:30pm, which included the City Inspector coming to approve the work Done Right Plumbing had done (Done Right Plumbing took care of contacting/scheduling inspection with the City). This is a family-owned business and Steve is a no-fuss type of guy and got the work done. Also, the members who coordinate billing/scheduling were very professional and always got back to me quickly. For those of you hesitant to hire Done Right Plumbing, DON'T WAIT! It's been over a year and no leaks! I'd give more than 5 stars for Done Right Plumbing if I could. The water company told me I had a service line leak between my house and the street. I paid a guy to find where it was. He found the leak surrounded by the neighborhood utility boxes on my property and a sizeable stump. There was maybe 18 inches between the big Comcast box and that stump. The guy said I wouldn't be able to find a company to repair that leak because of the close proximity of utilities and stump. He was certain I would need to install a new service line estimated to be around $10-$15,000 (though he said he couldn't do that kind of work). My daughter said I should call her plumbing company, Done Right, that had done a fantastic job on a very difficult situation. So I called Done Right and sent photos of the tricky location, believing they wouldn't want the job, particularly because they are in Lynnwood and I'm in Renton. But they gave me a quote from the photos and mere 2 days later they came out and hand dug to safely fix my water service line. I've never been so happy to hand over a check for $2400!! BTW, my daughter's situation was much worse than mine---sewer backed up into their house caused by a PSE gas line that had been drilled right through their sewer pipe in the 90's long before they owned the house. If Done Right hadn't inspected that line carefully before clearing the sewer line, there could have been an explosion. My daughter said Done Right Plumbing did EVERYTHING exactly right! read more

Steve and his plumbers were immediate to respond to all of my needs. I started working with them from across the country just on the phone, I called around to over 5 different plumbers and they gave me a price which was more than half of what everyone else had said. They came in and changed an entire new water line from the street to the house - changed all the pipes underneath, and this is a house built in 1948, so those old pipes were hard, clay pipes to work with! The original clay pipes. Not easy. They installed all new piping. They were fast efficient, fun, responsive, sweet, and went WAY beyond any expectation, especially for the price. They even put all the grass back so that it was completely unnoticeable what they had dug up. In addition, they added a waterline to the non-working fridge, where now there's water, crushed ice, and ice available from the fridge. It's like new now. This was something they thought of themselves, and just threw in! Also, in ANOTHER addition, they came back A YEAR LATER, as promised, and installed a hose fixture in the back of the house - while they were at it, fixed a loose faucet in the bathroom. Again, incredibly fast and efficient. There has not been one problem since and I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend them! I will call them for all of my future plumbing needs from now on! I initially found Done Right Plumbing from asking in a local Community Group for plumbing recommendations, and after an overwhelming number of people suggested them, I now understand why! Steve and Ashton were prompt in their timing, and provided a concise two hour time window so that I did not have to take off the whole day in anticipation like you do with a number of other plumbing companies. They came out, worked with me to do a thorough inspection and determination of the problem for a tough toilet drain clog, and then were able to work through a number of solutions to get the problem fixed using a commercial borescope / drain snake. Steve took the time to talk through the problem as well as the general state of the plumbing in my house and comparison to current plumbing installation materials, which I very much appreciated. Both of the crew that came out were very personable and respectful of my home during the time they were on sight, and worked quickly to remedy the situation. The time and willingness to find the right solution, mixed with fair pricing left me as a happy customer. I had a drain backup issue in my shower from a sudden block in the pipes. We couldn't use any of the sinks without sludge bubbling up from the shower floor! I called around at several businesses and all of them needed at least a few days to come by and fix an issue I needed resolved ASAP. Done Right Plumbing responded to my call, the receptionist was nice, asked good questions, and answered my own very well. They had someone over to look at the problem in less than HALF AN HOUR! I'm not used to such stellar response from a business like this, but Steve and his partner were over right away and had the blockage snaked out in no time. Both were professional and friendly and gave great answers to my follow-up questions for billing and preventing the problem in the future. Like some of the 1930's era homes in our neighborhood, a critical junction in our original sewer line collapsed with little warning. We called Steven Renfro for an assessment of the damage on Monday morning; he responded quickly and gave us a rundown. The damage was 8 feet below the foundation and due to accessibility problems, required hand digging. Despite this, Steve assured us he would have his crew on site and ready to fix the problem Tuesday. As promised, sewer drain was restored and a new cleanout installed by Tuesday afternoon. The crew was professional, quiet, and efficient. Any plants or structures that required relocation were restored to their near-original condition on Thursday. A professional job all around and I was very happy with their work. Done Right Plumbing had the resources, crew, and skills to take on a big (and kinda nasty) job, and they were super responsive. We are in Shoreline, WA and noticed our tub and toilet was filed with sewer and called various plumbing companies to clear the main line. Others either quoted earth shattering prices or not available to attend to it. When I called Done Right Plumbing Steven took the call and was very attentive. First he referred me to another person who could do the snake but then when I provided more info he said he can come take a look and recommend a solution for free! Even to run the camera their price was only $180! Steven and John came within few minutes of our conversation and take time to talk and trouble shoot the issue and clear the problem. These guys are great! My toilet was backing up into tub, and washer not draining, and I knew we had some issues with the ancient sewer line I could no longer put off repairing. As line ran under concrete foundation under deck, owner Steve Renfro advised running a new sewer line through the back yard, bypassing the old sewer line completely, which worked great! Steve and his crew did a super job, getting the major part of the installation done in one day, with minimal mess. They took care to avoid damaging my plants, reseeded the lawn afterwards, and cleaned up the work area well. Steve, as well as Tracy in the office, were also great at communicating throughout the whole process. And did I mention they were less expensive than 2 other plumbers I contacted? I live in Edmonds and have recently hired Done Right Plumbing to replumb and install fixtures for my bathroom remodel. I selected Done Right plumbing out of three other companies, because Steve understood what I needed to do, and didnt try to add unecessary things to get more out of me . I am in the construction business, and I normally do written contract on similar work, but we worked on a hand shake agreement and it worked out well. Steve and his staff has done a great job, they describe what to do before they start and they worked around my schedule the best they could, after the hours and to some times on the weekends . We had a cell phone stuck in our toilet, and a previous plumber could not retrieve it and gave us a quote for a new toilet, but it would require another visit. He described his first visit as a "diagnosis". I was skeptical because that plumber charged a lot of money and did not offer much explanation. Looking for a second opinion, we called Adam with Done Right and he responded to our needs right away. Adam concurred that the phone could not be retrieved and he explained the situation very clearly. He also offered to replace the toilet on the same visit, and at a lower price than the first guy. I will not name the previous plumber, but Adam was much more knowledgeable and professional, and had a better price (I didn't need to negotiate or mention the previous plumber's price). This is truly a company that lives up to their name. We purchased 3 years ago a new furnace and a new water heater from them. A technician was able to come out when I wasn't home to inspect exterior plumbing issues (failed hydrant style faucet parts). The communication was efficient and timely with giving a quote for work to be done, explaining problem/solution, and took time to answer my questions. They also estimated a price WELL below other quotes we received. Initially this made me question how they could do the same work for much less but they explained exactly the same tasks as other companies. On the day of repair, the technician arrived on time, explained what he planned to do and continued to communicate with me throughout the project. We had a clog in our sewer drain, which created quite an emergency, and gross situation in our home. Done Right Plumbing came out that morning, assed the situation, gave us our options, and were able to begin work immediately. I found Steven, the owner, to be very honest, polite and informative. He, along with two other gentlemen, worked efficiently and had our home up and running that afternoon. When it became apparent that it was necessary for them to dig a large hole in our front yard to access our pipe, they even took pictures to ensure the landscaping was replaced properly-which they did. Steven Renfrow and his excellent team of assistants had to crawl around in our 18" crawl space to fix the leaking plumbing for the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen required a lot of creativity in figuring out how to replace the waste water pipe without tearing up the floors of our house. All the work was done thoroughly and efficiently without much disruption of our household. He and the crew cleaned up and patched up as they went along, and everything looks and works great. We needed a water line installed from the kitchen sink to a new refrigerator that was on the opposite side of the room, no crawl space or attic. The line had to be run through the cabinets, behind the dish washer and up to the ceiling and across. We had two other estimates on the job, one that was 3 times the cost of Done Right and the other within a few dollars. We chose Done Right and it was the correct choice. Ashton and Joe came out and did the job efficiently, cleaned up after the work was completed and took their time doing the job the right way. We had a old faucet over the kitchen sink that was rusted out and broke without warning. We needed it working again ASAP. Cold called Steven at 8am on Saturday morning and he was at our house within 2 hours. Because it was a bit of an emergency, he could have easily gouged us but his pricing was totally reasonable and stated up-front before any work was done. He discussed our options with us, and fixed it up in less than 30mins. He also cleaned out the fittings so it's running better than it was before. The owner Steve was just here on a Sunday. He was an hour earlier then he told us he would be. I was impressed with that for starters. He was not able to clear the drain, due to the age of the pipe and the potential of compromising that and creating a bigger issue. He gave us one thing to try on our own (bio clean), and if that doesn't work we will need to replace a section of pipe. He was incredibly honest and straightforward and didn't charge us a penny. Done-Right-Plumbing installed the plumbing for both of our bathroom remodels. They did a great job, were timely and professional. When contractors arrive on time, it means a lot to us. Most recently,they fixed a leak in the wall behind our kitchen dishwasher. They arrived quickly, assessed the problem and had the leak repaired shortly after.
