Horrible company! Just out there to rip you off. Robbie the tech and Sarah in the office was great but he owner David (I believe that's his name) is a a rude jerk that lacks customer service. I paid and the service was done with a faulty part the first time so he had to return the next day. Installed the part and it lasted about 3 weeks. I called Robbie he came out and he guessed it was because of a screen that was there so-call blocking the water heater. He said he was guessing. He was able to light pilot and said if it happened again just call and he will have to order a new part. That he owner would have to call the company to state the part was faulty and get me a new one because they are all about service to their customers..... ugh yeah right! I called just called and David picked up and immediately told me that I voided my warranty by having a screen in front of it. Wtf?! He didn't even stop raising his voice to hear what I had to say regarding what his technician advised me to do. It's not like I'm trying to have him do something outrageous. It was what his technician told me! He kept yelling at me so I said it was fine and hung up because I do not need someone yelling at me for advising me what to do. I would give them a negative star! I would not recommend this company to anyone. Please stay away! Unfortunately it's so hard to find a honest and true plumber to actually care about their business and customers. So David is it worth it for your rudeness and lack of customer service?! As Robbie would tell you I had spoken to him about having your company do other work around my house. Good thing I didn't! Excuse me, first off you weren't there obviously you don't have the info correctly. Robbie never told me to not "stack" anything there when he came out the first time. He came out changed out the components and it was faulty. Came back the second and replaced the faulty one he installed. The second time he came out he suspects it was because of a screen again NOT "stacked items" as you are stating. NEVER did he say that it voids any warranty. He actually said he will come back and replace it if he has to to get it to stay lit. So again before you run off with your story know what you are saying. I don't have time to go on here if my water heater works and you actually provide the service that you are suppose to. I don't need you to respond since it's not the truth and you, Robbie and I all know that. Goodnight and all I can say is that I'm just glad it's not a major problem I had or else I would've been in a worst situation with your horrible service. read more

Kitchen faucet was old, started leaking. Sent a message to several plumbers using yelp. Done Rite Plumbing answered the quickest, within a couple of minutes. They were able to schedule someone to come over the next day between 8-10am. I received a text message telling me they were on their way 30 minutes before 8am. Rob and Austin arrived a few minutes before 8am. They took off their work boots before coming inside, I didn't need to ask. I appreciated this as we have small kids and don't wear shoes in the house. They looked at our faucet, showed me where the leak was coming from. Our old sink was rusted from the inside, couldn't be fixed. I had purchased a moen faucet from Costco just in case it needed to be replaced. The guys gave a reasonable estimate for the labor. They replaced the faucet in less than an hour and cleaned everything up. Rob and Austin were friendly and professional. The faucet looks and works great. Awesome plumbers!! read more

I've used Done-Rite twice and have been happy both times. First, Dave came out to do a sewer cam inspection on a house I was buying. When I called to schedule the inspection, it was 7:30 at night but he answered the phone right away. On inspection day, he was on-time, thorough, and charged a good price. This was our fourth escrow and third sewer cam inspection and, by far, the most pleasant one of the three. Really wish we had called Dave for the first two! The second time we had Kevin and Sam hook up our kitchen sink, kitchen faucet, garbage disposal, bathroom sink, and bathroom faucet. These two were also punctual and got straight to work. We had expected the job to take most of the day but they finished everything within a few hours without cutting any corners at all. Probably realizing we were first time home buyers, they walked us around the house and pointed out all the shut off valves. As a bonus, they were really friendly with our dogs. I recently had Done Rite come over and install a gas valve and give me insight into ideas I had about my shower. From start to finish, they were the best! Vera was so courteous and helpful with getting me set up with an appointment. She also had me send photos to give my plumber a better idea of my needs so the appointment would run smoother. I also had the pleasure of talking to Dave, who was incredibly respectful and enthusiastic about his work. I had originally called on the weekend to schedule my appointment, and was responded to via text by Dave less than one minute after placing the call! Chris B. was my plumber, and I can't say enough about his positivity and enthusiasm. I received a text message informing me when he was 15 minutes out. He installed the valve and gave me advice about my shower. His explanation of my concerns gave me the peace of mind and confidence to take care of the job in the future. I called to request an estimate for some plumbing work that I would like done at my house. I was informed that there would be a $79 cost to have them come out and provide me with an estimate. I cancelled the request for an estimate. There are other plumbers giving me an estimate at no cost, so why would I pay them to provide a bid on a project? If you are getting bids for work, I recommend reaching out to other plumbers that won't charge you $79 to provide an estimate. read more

This review is long overdue since I have been using Done-Rite Plumbing since the fall of 2014 when our master bath backed up and google pointed me towards them. Dave picked up right away, at 7pm, and was at our house within a half hour. He was very straight forward, polite and kind enough to take his boots off before coming inside. Fixed our problem but was honest that it would be back due to an issue with an angle down our pipes. We dropped the ball and didn't fix the issue and I had to call him back a year later. He cleared it up and since he knew we had construction ties wouldn't bid the job to dig up the yard since he knew we could have it done cheaper than he could even come close to, honesty at it's best. Since then he has provided service for other family members of ours in the area and everyone is always super happy with his work and especially his professionalism. It's not easy to find honest help for things like construction and plumbing and I can vouch for Done-Rite in that they won't be the "cheapest" quote but for a good reason, you get what you pay for. Do it "rite" once rather than wrong twice or more. We just had to have them come over the day after Thanksgiving for a backed up laundry sink and once again had top notch service with no run arounds, up selling, or hidden fees. They are very good at giving you an appointment that fits your schedule, as well as keeping you up to date via text when the technician is in route. You always know what to expect from the start when they go over the estimate with you. No hidden charges. I've had Christian come replace my kitchen sink faucet, install meter control system, and for the descaling of my tankless water heater. Every time he was very professional, clean, and friendly. Always went over the job before he started. Always cleaned up after himself. Always tested to make sure everything is working properly before he left. He is also well knowledges, I always pick his brain with questions about future projects and his opinion on what I should do for different projects. I called Dave in a pinch- my girlfriend found a leak at night when I was away and couldn't assess it. He was able to respond quickly and temporarily fix the problem until a more convenient time (for both of us) for a permanent fix. He was able to identify the problem correctly and fix it correctly. Used these guys a couple times. Once was to do a hydro-jet for a pretty heavy duty line. The guys were nice and upfront with pricing. Second time was to fix / upgrade a few fixtures. Because of our old non-standard plumbing it didn't turn out to their satisfaction and offered me a few options for addressing it and I was happy they maintained a high standard for themselves. I've referred them a few times including my mom and for a big/expensive job for my buddy who liked them too. There's undoubtedly cheaper guys for a simple snake or something pretty low level but for anything above that I have a very good comfort level with these guys and they will be my first call. read more

Had an active leak at my house. They sent a guy to check it out, he told me it was bad I needed a new cartridge, but it was not a sure fix. If we changed the valve it would definitely fix the problem. He said we would have to cut the wall and since my house was built before 1979, he would need a special team. It was going to cost 1125 for them to cut the wall in two places, I told him my house had an addition and was repiped in 1997 so there would not be any asbestos, he said no I would need this or I would not have water over night. He kept reminding me this fact when we brought a second team to check out the leak. Something that was quoted to cost me $1895.00 for the valve replacements and $1125.00 for the wall cuts...... Toms plumbing service quoted me $1200.00 for the whole job. I am 28 and a woman and I definitely got looked at like a fool by the "Done-Rite" Plumbing. Luckily I didnt get ripped off and the plumbling job that was done at my property was taken care of by honest plumbers, which sadly was not represented by the tech who came from this company. I understand being cautious for safety reasons, but trying to manipulate the costumer is not the way to go about it. read more

My kitchen sink was stopped up and Austin from Done-Right came right away and determined that it needed a rooter and was able to bring in the additional staff needed right away, which was a miracle as I was preparing for a dinner party. A few nights ago I tried to crank the garbage disposal back into service after a routine jam and noticed a stream of water coming down from the base. "Uh oh," I said to myself. "Time for a new garbage disposal." I called Do It Right Plumbing, because we had used them in the past for various jobs, and they told me they'd be here on Friday between 8 and noon...and then noon to 4...and then...Monday. Wah waaaaaaah. (Things happen. I get it. I used to work in the plumbing business.) I called Done-Rite Plumbing (not to be confused with Do It Right Plumbing), and the very kind CSR--who used to work at the same plumbing company I worked at back in the day--told me that they could come out on Saturday morning. (Eureka!) Christian, the technician, showed up when Done-Rite said he would show up, and was super professional, straight forward, and an expert at what he does. I wanted a "mid-range" garbage disposal, and he sold me one that was just above mid-range for a decent price and a 10% discount--right within my budget. Christian removed the old garbage disposal and installed the new one very fast, and the next thing you know I am paying for it and he is on his way and my wife and kids can get on with our day with peace of mind. My roommates and I had our garbage disposal's motor burn out due to a jam and as none of us are confident enough to fix something like that ourselves, we felt it best to refer to the pros. As far as plumbing service goes, this was as pleasant, professional and painless as it gets. I called Done-Rite on Wednesday and was greeted warmly and sympathetically when I told the Office Manager on the line about our issue. They didn't waste any time getting us booked ASAP and we were able to get an appointment Friday first thing in the morning. Also of note, she was able to give me an estimate of the cost of work which was super helpful. Dave and Austin came exactly at 8 (said they'd be there between 8 and 10) which I greatly appreciated, so I didn't have to wait around all morning. We've all been there when the person coming out to do work says they'll be there between x and y time and then shows up at 11th hour if not later! After some initial troubleshooting, Dave explained that we were looking at a full replacement of the unit. I agreed that after the fixes we tried replacing would be best. The replacement didn't take long at all, and they were in and out in less than an hour. They were incredibly friendly, efficient, and knew what they were talking about. In comparison to the other places I looked at, pricing was reasonable too. If I ever have any plumbing issues in the future, these will be my go-to guys! read more
