I got an oil change and they diagnosed several other issues with the car. I chose to not pursue the work right away but mentioned that my tires weren't holding air. Turns out they were 10 years old and dry rotted. Chuck's was able to order new tires and get them mounted and aligned all in the same day. Every conversation I had with multiple employees was professional but friendly. I was temporarily in town and had this work done, but based on these great experiences, I'd go out of my way to go to this auto shop again.

It's the small shop just up from Story Hill BKC on the corner of W Bluemound and N Hawley in the Story Hill neighborhood. This is my new mechanic. Hands down solid and all-around great service. Let's start with what they do that I really appreciate. They take your car into their shop and give you a full-blown report of vehicle condition and then vehicle triage report. You can tell what needs immediate attention to what could wait, and you can then decide how you want them to handle repairs. This report is downloadable so you can store it and keep it on digital file. So far in my book that's a win. Next on to the repairs. Despite needing quite a bit of work, Greitens was honest and reasonably priced. I really don't think I could ask for much more coming to this shop for the first time. Our 2013 Edge has about 100K miles on it and was long overdue from some TLC. We brought it here and they gave it the full treatment it needed and now it's back and ready to run another 100K miles. I'll be bringing our other car for service come the time that's for sure. Easy to drop off with an appointment and easy to pickup when they called to let me know repairs were done. I would NEVER go to the dealer when I have a shop of this caliber. Great mechanics hands down at Greitens!

They did pressure test, charged us 134$, told us that there is coolant leak (which we knew as it was reason why we came there), based on "color" of coolant they determined that "stop leak" product was used (and I did not use such product), and based on that said they can not fix it as it "may leak again". Idiotic experience. Second issue was broken CV joint boot. They looked up part, stated it is 2000$ and will take 1 month to get here from Germany. Yet US Audi sells this for 831$ with 2-4 day shipping. Moral of this: you will get charged for "inspection" and they do not want or plan to fix anything. The rental company wanted to charge me for a tow and a full tire replacement, talk about stressful! It was a Saturday and most shops were either closed or too far away. I found Rick's Car Care on Yelp and saw they were listed as open until noon. When I arrived, there was a sign on the door saying they were actually closed on Saturdays. I decided to knock anyway, and I'm so glad I did! To my surprise, a gentleman named Jimmi answered the door. After I explained the situation, he graciously offered to take a look at my tire, despite being closed for the day. He quickly assessed the damage and was able to fix it with a simple plug. Not only did Jimmi go out of his way to help me, but he also treated me fairly and didn't try to overcharge me just because I was from out of town. The whole repair was fast, VERY affordable, and I was back on the road in under 10 minutes. Jimmi was an absolute lifesaver! His kindness and willingness to help a stranger truly made my day. It is unclear after taking my vehicle to the dealership whether or not I was lied to because I am female, possibly even because I am African-American or whether or not these individuals need to be retrained on how to do their job. I was told that one of my tires has a 3/32 tread and that it needs to be changed immediately, causing them to refuse to do the tire rotation the entire reason I chose this location. The dealership mentioned that all of my tires are in fact 6/32 and they measured them multiple times. so was I lied to ? Because they simply didn't feel like doing the work, it's unclear. I was then told that I had an oil leak. In fact I do not have an oil leak. Someone messy poured oil into in area, causing it to slowly drip down in several places underneath the vehicle. I've lost an entire Friday thinking that I needed two new tires and to repair an engine leak. I called a week later having heard nothing to check on progress. Nick said that it would cost $ 2,700.00. that was a very high bid , but I said Okay go ahead and fix it. I tried calling back after waiting a couple of weeks . It is very hard to talk to anyone there as they have no voice mail. After a month I reached them and they said they had not touched it and refused to fix it. So they wasted a month of my time, were not honest with me, were hostile, simply the pits.
