This is by far my favorite donut/kolache shop in the area. It can be difficult to find good kolaches, but these are delicious! They always have a wide variety of donuts, kolaches, and other breakfast sandwiches. I was very excited to see they offered bubble tea, but unfortunately they only offer frozen (or at least they didn't give me an option) milk tea and a limited number of flavors. However, this isn't a bubble tea shop so I can't/won't give them a lesser review because of that! Still good donuts, but I just went to Donut box to get some glazed cronuts, (it's 7:30 sat morn) and they said they weren't going to have any today...!?! Ugh. I got 6 reg glazed and those are good, but not what I got up early and went there for. read more

Awesome selection and excellent service. They have a large menu as well that looks to be different teas and espresso type drinks. There are some small tables inside but a grab and go place for sure. read more

Came for the Cronuts.... I'm on a search for the best in Texas. No luck, the inside wasn't flaky, kind of greasy like a donut. The croissant breakfast egg, cheese, sausage with bacon was really good. This place has kolaches without cheese which is apparently hard to find in most donut shops. read more

if I could give it a zero I would but I can't but this morning I ate one of their donuts and I found a roach in my mouth and I have braces so it got caught in my braces and I was so disgusted I thought since they had a good rating that the donuts will be good but I guess not. read more

We really like the donuts and we like the Donut box. They have a nice selection of specialty donuts as well as all the usual ones. I really like the maple bacon doughnut and the Bavarian filled. The reason they didn't get five stars is because their chocolate icing doesn't have much flavor. It just doesn't taste chocolatey enough for me. Also the yeast dough around the kolache is good but the hotdog inside is very poor quality....has lots of gristle and cartilage and blech in it. Stick with the donuts and you'll have a great experience! read more

And you can tell they take pride in their products because they are well made and deeeeelicious. We got: some sausage pastry thing (hubs loved it) and a spinach pastry that was really yummy, and old fashion blueberry donut (best ever! Really sweet though) a blueberry custard cronut, mini cinnamon roll holes (yum), maple bacon donut (we're saving for tonight after blood sugar goes down) and cinnamon peanut donut. Tried this place because of the reviews and so happy we did!! The donuts are so light and not at all greasy, it's like they must keep all the grease changed and clean and use very light ingredients. Love the variety. The donuts are pretty good. They would be great but I know a place in Plano that does a better crossaint donut. The ones here feel rushed. But they still taste good. Staff is super friendly and the prices are decent. I. Ave yet to go here when there isn't a line out the door. The only bad thing I can say is they keep forgetting to warm up the kolaches every time they ask me if I want it warmed up. Cold kolaches do not taste good. read more

So happy this placed opened! In my opinion, they have some of the best donuts around. They have a good variety such as speciality (you know the kind with bacon on them, blueberries, etc), cake donuts, cronuts and then donuts decorated for whatever season it is, holiday and then kids donuts with small toys on them! Their glazed donuts are perfect, just the right amount of glaze and they always taste fresh. The plain sausage and jalapeño/cheese sausage kolaches are also very good. I did have one of their breakfast tacos which I didn't care for...sort of reminded me of McDonalds. Other than that though, very delicious! read more

This is as an update for an old review, today is 9.24.2017...I used to get donut from there since they first opened. Today I was getting my donuts as usual then before leaving I saw the coffee table, I thought they have complimentary coffee as it's by the door, no body standing by it and there isn't any sign even saying how much or anything!! I made myself a cup of coffee then the girl approached me saying in a very rude way"ma'am, u didn't pay for ur coffee" .. and yeah she was absolutely RUDE, the way she was talking and even her look as if am stealingbit!!!! I said sorry I didn't know I thought it's complimentary and paid for it, then I smiled and said agian sorry I thought it's complimentary she gave me that rude look again and didn't even reply!! They know nothing about customer service and I'll definitely never come back again nor recommend them to anyone I know. read more

I love donut box's donuts. And I would give them 5 stars, except there's one thing that bothers me. Some of the prices aren't listed. A kids juice is 3 dollars! And the only sprinkled donuts they have, have toys on top of them. I finally asked how much those were, and they said 1.75. That's almost double a regular donut! Yet, in order to get sprinkles, you have to get the toy. They are smart. My kids will only eat sprinkle donuts. But, the donuts are good. read more

Tried this place for the first time today. The inside is the nicest donut store I have ever been to! Ordered glazed, red velvet glazed, and the blueberry. The best by far was the red velvet glazed. The blueberry was too sugary, and the original glazed had a strange after taste. The other store "donuts" across the way where the lowe's is has better original glazed. Honestly, it depends on the kind of donut you like. If you like caker kind of donuts and yummy red velvet, try donut box! This is a solid unique donut shop. It is not the standard strip mall place always next to a nail shop that has the word DONUT in yellow font above the shop. This place actually has some variety and unique stuff.
