I tried out this place it was pretty good. Prices per donut were really fair. Cool little donut spot. They didn't have many donuts at the time, which is why I'm not giving it a full rating, but overall it's okay. Four stars service was okay It has plenty of parking spots. Also there's a huge little shopping center. If you come here and you get to explore.

I went around 9 AM and there no wait. The employee was friendly and told me which donuts are most popular. The inside was clean but kinda small and there is no seating. The donuts were fresh. I would've liked more filling in the apple fritter.

Morning sweets is a yes on any day. Today we were treated amicably by a young man behind the counter. There was a line of people while being friendly and fast. The donuts were pretty good and the breakfast sandwiches hit the spot just right. This little place is tucked in the corner is clean and welcoming. What else could we want to start our day. :) If we are in the area we would come back.

Came by for donuts one day and enjoyed them very much! Sugar level was standard American level which is really sweet... so only 1 was enough for me. I would definitely come back if it wasn't so far from me but it's worth checking out if you're close by and craving donuts.

Small shop but delicious fresh donuts and quick friendly service. They also have cream cheese bagel, 3 croissant options, and a breakfast sandwhich. There's hot coffee, tea, or hot chocolate available as well. Every donut was so soft you can't go wrong with any of them.

This is one of those places that I'm so thankful for, and simultaneously not happy! The donuts are perfect. AND they are available on Door Dash! But that's just bad news if you're trying to lose weight! What a dilemma.... Well, let's get to the stuff. The glaze donuts are just right. Moist. Great rise on the dough. Great flavor. Way too easy to eat! And then there are the jelly filled. I love jelly filled donuts. I've had plenty of bad ones from donut shops. Honestly, these Donut Bros are just right! You got the same perfect dough and then the filling is not too sugary sweet and they have nice fruit flavor. I love the raspberry. Just tried the mini apple fritters today. And once again, they are just right! They got all the flavor, chunks of apple, crispy edges and soft insides. They break apart for perfect lil' bites with my coffee. Haven't had a bad donut here. So... yah. I'm doomed.

Nothing and no other donut shop beats Donut Bros, I promise. When I moved to East County 2 years ago I found myself one weekend wanting donuts and tried donut shops every weekend after that from places that are all well known in East county. The first time I had Donut Bros it was a no-brainer. It was when it was behind the building and to my unfortunate timing I had to wait to have them again until they moved to the front where they are now. I've brought donuts from here into my office in downtown and everyone always asks where I get them from and it's always high praises. If you like an old fashion donut try one here! It beats other out easily. read more

Lets just say I've ordered multiple deliveries on DoorDash and I've done walk ins. These donuts are just what El Cajon needed. I live in Rancho San Diego but when the kids and I are craving some really good Donuts this is are go to place. Even when my coffee was delivered it was piping hot and had creamer and sugars on the side. Donut Bros delivers freshness not some crappy greasy super fried donuts. If you want a good chocolate bar or twist this is the place. read more

This is one of the best donuts I have ever eaten San Diego. There is a perfect combination of dough and airiness that's just awesome. This place is very unassuming without all the Decor of a donut bar but I would prefer their donuts over donut bar or Krispy Kreme. read more

We've heard from this place from my dad's worker and it was our first time going to this place the owner was so nice so helpful with our order we ordered glazedonut holes in a box of dozen donuts when we got home we open the box we were so surprised to see the donuts we ate one on this fine morning it was so good so spongy and so delicious my brother got one and he ate it like he was enjoying it if you're recommending a good place to go get a good spongy Donuts this would be the place we can't wait to go back and. get more sweet delicious donuts read more

Before they bought the place, the old donut shop was good but nothing compared to what these men have done to the donuts. It's almost as if they evolved the complexion of what a donut suppose to taste. They made me get adddicted to donuts. I almost never came to the old shack, but once they bought the place, I noticed what they have done to the place. I come here about 3-4 times a week. The ham and cheese is fat and is actually full with ham and cheese. The strawberry and cream cheese is soo moist!! Honestly every donut is to die for literally! If you're not a donut person and is cravinng something sweet, don't go to Walmart, grocery outlet, 711, or any of the surrounding places! You have to come here! Hungary after church for some donuts . Found this place and bought me a breakfast sandwich and the daughter and wife some donuts. Donuts were good but the breakfast Sandwiches were the best I ever had. Don't do to many reviews but if you appreciate a good breakfast sandwich I highly recommend this place!!! read more

Great doughnuts & great service. I've recently started buying doughnuts here for our by weekly meetings at work. Its a fare amount so I call the night before. They are always ready when I get there & he is nice enough to help me to my car. Add the above with the deliciousness of the doughnuts!! Superb! We loved the cake donuts and chocolate twist which was fabulous. Heads up that their bear claw is apple cinnamon and not almond! Will be back if we are ever in the area. Another heads up they are currently under construction and you have to enter from the back of the building ! Difficult to find but I'm glad we were able to fine them. read more

This is my favorite donut shop in East County! Their donuts are wonderful and straight up goodness that came down from heaven above. The parking is right on the side of the restaurant. It looks sketch but it's totally fine. The guy here is always very friendly too. read more

Soo ive been going to this donut shop before they moved into the newly renovated shop.They have the most amazing powdered donut holes with custard inside they are the best.!!! They are always fresh and they have the best glazed donut holes !!! Anyway I rate these guys at a 10 and not just because their donuts are delicious but they are so nice in there and they have the best customer service. This is a textbook hole in the wall donut shop. While it's under construction it is somewhat hard to find, but I'm glad I went. One of the brothers helped my girlfriend and I and was extremely welcoming from the jump. Of the selection that they had which was understandably slim given the circumstances of construction and time of day that we had gone. The maple bar, old fashioned, and jelly donuts were delicious and I am definitely going again. read more

Donut shops are always hit or miss. Being an El Cajon native I've seen many establishments come and go. This donut shop (well, the previous owners) were actually hit or miss. Now, doing business as the 'Donut bros' I'm totally in. Every time I've gone they have had delicious donuts. I'm glad they let this donut shop open, I'm a sucker for them!! Nice American man. Go around the back three times and you'll find it. Only offers fake creamer and won't open a regular milk or half and half for coffee ... huh? WTF the fake creamer has partially hydrogenated oil in it. Lame. Never going back. read more

We saw the temporary sign up on the top and assumed it was a new business having never driven down that street before. I'm a sucker for a good unique doughnut. The way their name reads, you would think they wouldn't serve something just traditional. Upon entering we were greeted by a nice young man and said that it wasn't a new business but instead they had just taken over a different one. They seemed to be sold out of several donuts but the ones we did buy were stale. We tried the cream puffs filled with Bavarian cream, we tried to glazed donut holes, and a few others that were all average if not sub par. read more

First time coming here since it changed owners and I'm glad I did! I got the kiddos a dozen donuts and those await them after school. I got an apple fritter and a cheese croissant to try for myself. The dude behind the counter offered to warm up my croissant and I am sad that I didn't. If it tasted perfect at room temperature, imagine how stupendous it would have tasted warm? Next time I'll definitely ask them to warm it up. Will have to update with how the kids react to the selection of donuts I brought them and when I eat the apple fritter later on tonight(or when I finish this review lol). read more

The only small downside is that the parking lot is a little tight, especially during busy hours, but it's well worth the minor inconvenience. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. She told me when came back from the office, she could see all my order history but she couldn't give me back any points from my 2 previous visits. I told her this will be the last time I come and she is losing a customer over 29 points. SHE COULD CARE LESS. Her response to this was "I went in the back to do research". Beware!
