Amazing donuts here. If I'm in the area I try and stop here to grab a delicious donut. They have a good selection here too! The Staff is friendly and service is fast. Easy in and out to grab what you need.

We do love good donuts, and this is the best place closest to me! Super friendly staff, great variety of house made donuts and fresh! Favorites of ours include chocolate cake (awesome chocolate flavor), sprinkles or honey dip (yeast donuts are so light!). Check out the specials too!

What a find!! We were in Springfield for the night and wanted somewhere to grab coffee and treats in the morning. Donut Dip was around the corner from our hotel and it was a store frozen in time. They were packed but the line moved quickly. They had about 30-40 kinds of donuts/pastries and the coffee was fresh. Prices were good-8 donuts and 2 coffees for just over $20. There are no tables-everything is to go. We brought home maple glazed, chocolate, coconut, cider and a melt away and all received high praise. It's a must go if you are in the area.

And still they do many things that make you think "man I tell you that this takes me back to childhood" for the O.G.'s out there (you know who you are) plus even showing the new school how donuts were done/made & when you have a bakery in the shop how can you go wrong? Note I got a Chocolate Cream/Vanilla Cream donut & medium black coffee and service still manage's to get everything done even if lines are long sometimes & they have even newer equipment plus even new POS machines so everything is easy enough. Place isn't exactly one you can sit in & S.R.O. somewhat but nobody's perfect. And for one which started in 1957 "Still going!"

I visit from CT when I'm in the area! Donut varieties for days! So much better when made in a local mom and pop shop Ordered a lemon filled, sprinkled and maple bacon. Blueberry and glazed another time. Everything was so fresh AND you can see where everything is being made Will definitely have to get the giant donut for a party or event one time.

We stopped here in a whim, and I'm glad that we did. It doesn't look like much, but the donuts were so good! They were thick, light, and and way better than Dunkin donuts. They had a nice selection, too. I had never heard of them before, but wish they had a shop closer to where I live. I ordered a hot chocolate that was creamy and tasty.

Retro vibe, crazy parking lot and low cost. I read an article last week naming the top donut shop in each state. The Donut Dip was named in the article representing Mass. I was heading to the area in a few days so it definitely made my MA Yelp list! Driving up you cannot help but appreciate the old school vice Donut Dip is repping! I love that they are keeping it old school. The parking lot has spots going in different directions and man it's busy! Be careful. I bought 6 donuts and a medium iced coffee: $11! Love that! The donuts: 1. Bavarian (I did not eat this, it's my daughters favorite flavor. She ate it. Did not rave over it.) 2. Butternut- great flavor! 3. Maple- don't like a lot of fronting on donuts especially like a cake. It was very sweet and too much 4. Sour Cream- the girl waiting on me said it's what they are known for. It was my first sour cream donut and I can report it lacked flavor and was not soft. 5. Honey dip- basically their glazed. Sweet flavor which I liked a lot. Soft as well but it's not the best I have ever had. 6. Cider- they carry it year round I was informed, I like that. It was good but not the best I have ever had. Overall cool place. True score: 3.5

I had the best coconut cream doughnut. I wish I got two lol Went in the late afternoon and the selection was still good and the product's fresh I also walked away with an apple fritter, glaze stick, butternut and one apple spice. We were very satisfied and would definitely go again. You will never have another Dunkin Donut if you stop here. They are worth the price.

When I'm in West Side, a trip to Donut Dip is a necessity. You are transported back in time as soon as you walk in the door. The smell in there is heaven. They make the donuts in the back. They are so fresh!! The staff is always helpful and super nice. Definitely worth the trip from anywhere.

STAPLE STAPLE STAPLE! This place is a legend and depending on the time of day there can be a line out the door. (Don't be scared though it moves quickly, these employees are professionals!!). I was in town on a business trip and it was located across the street from my hotel. Bacon(or sausage)/egg/cheese is made right in front of your face with real eggs and is only served on a bagel (there is a variety of flavors). Coffee is fine (I drink decaf which is never as good as the diesel variety anyway), but the donuts are OUTSTANDING! If you have to wait for a breakfast sandwich, shimmy yourself up next to the drink cooler and watch the bakers make and fry and decorate the donuts. I could watch them all day! If you're in the vicinity of the Eastern States expo center don't miss this gem.

Do they have dairy free iptions?

I wish I knew but don't have that problem.

What time of day is it best to go?

It's tricky because the location isn't far off I-91 & in turn you may run into various people like first responders, eighteen wheelers, those who want to start the day with coffee/donuts but an understandable question.

What is the best time of day to go here, and are weekdays or weekends better? (For optimal selection and to be able to buy/try ALL favors.) Do they run out quickly or are most flavors always available? I sincerely appreciate any tips from regulars!

Early in the morning is better. They make donuts all day though. Wednesday usually has the best selection, but only by a couple more than usual.

Cafe Tamra feels like a place the neighborhood has been waiting for…read more There's something immediately familiar about it. It's a small-town, home-grown answer to Starbucks, a little emotionally warmer and more personal. You get the same easy permission to be there however you need to be. The quick in-and-out coffee run and the long, unhurried stay for a study session or catch up with friends are equally present, with no pressure to justify either choice. The space is beautiful in a way that settles you. The space feels lush and sunlit, verdant and golden, with a modern ease. My mom and I lingered over lattes, giggled over photos of oddly shaped potatoes, and soaked up the sunlight coming through the wall-width windows, the warmth of the sun contrasting the view of winter's snow. This is now a sacred memory. The sandwich menu is concise and thoughtfully balanced, and the side offerings are an unexpected delight. Chips, pickled vegetables, and a handful of walnuts that make the plate feel like an adventure. (A brief question about allergies upon ordering would be a helpful touch.) The lattes are comforting, varied, and genuinely lovely, made with intention, not performative. I had the Spanish latte (which I assume was named for its thick accent) and my mom had the hazelnut. The latte art was delicate and pretty. That touch never gets old. There's a palpable newness to the place, a sense that the rhythms are still finding their natural flow. The ordering process and staff interactions haven't quite settled yet, but it reads as earnestness rather than awkwardness. Like a sweet newborn giraffe, Café Tamra is sweet and innocent, wholeheartedly endearing, and still learning its own cadence. I am rooting for its success. Cafe Tamra already feels poised to become a neighborhood constant. It is familiar, friendly, and quietly grounding. The kind of place you don't rush through, even when you're just grabbing a coffee. I will happily be back.

It's an unassuming building but they've made it very cute! They have painted the brick around the bottom to look like stone as well as a continuation of the awning painted around the top. There is a large bar in the middle and plenty of seating. This place is larger than it appeared from the outside. The menu offered several types of teas- white, green, herbal, black with several different flavors within each type of tea. I chose a tropical white tea. It came out nice and hot with a packet of honey. My friend ordered a sweet crepe with mixed fruit. She loved it! I decided to try their unique offering of 6 mixed pancakes. It included 4 savory pancakes (beet, zucchini, squash, potato) and two sweet pancakes (Oladi, farm cheese). One of the sweet pancakes was fluffy but dry and flavorless. I think it was the Oladi. All of the other pancakes were excellent and the service was flawless. What a cute place with great food and service! I'll definitely be back!
